I was at a cycling event this weekend with Anne’s Pantry serving food all day. Anne was lovely to deal with and the food was great.
An amazing alternative to a generic burger van.
Can highly recommend them as I had 5 meals from them over two days, all delicious and served with a smile and friendly chat.
A great space for creativity, relaxing and grabbing a coffee. They also run various events throughout the year, and the location is almost directly outside the train station and is easily accessible from the centre of town also.
This cafe provided afternoon tea for our group of approximately 18 children who were attending the Chelmsford escape rooms one weekend. I made the booking via the escape rooms and on the day, we were taken care of by the cafe staff, especially Justine. We hired the board room on the premises so as not to clog up the cafe due to our numbers.
The platters, including sandwiches and wraps were fresh and very tasty and their service was 1st class.
On a wednesday its roast day when it's not the festive menu and it is such a delicious meal and very reasonably priced x would totally recommend a visit x

Wow i just had the pleasure of enjoying the Raclette crepes and The Mac chicken crêpes each bite was a true indulgence !so Savory they were a delight twist on the classic comfort food🤪 and the nutella one !Bravo
AMAZING
Well…what more can I say other than WOW! We went for a meal for my sisters birthday in one of the pods. We were worried we may of been cold, but the heater inside ensured we all stayed lovely and warm. The filet steak was sublime! The nicest most tender steak! The staff were brilliant.
If I had to find any negative it would be, I paid a £20 holding fee for the pod which would of been nice to have taken off the bill at the end.
We will DEFINITELY come back!
Big thank you for the dessert bought out for my sister for her birthday as requested!
Thank you so so much for a perfect evening

Needed a place to meet and share ideas with the option of food and light drinks, found this venue on the frontage of a business park being run by a father and son team, both being chefs, Noel took our order and then he set about preparing our drinks while his father Pete took to the kitchen and prepared our Buffett lunch, bearing in mind we had come in on the off chance of carrying out an emergency meeting, we were 100% looked after throughout the afternoon, with fresh coffee flowing and soft drinks along with some fantastic club sandwiches and freshly prepared hot plates of food, will be returning to this now newly discovered venue not far from the city centre and free permit parking for our vehicles while we were on site ...
Tried Abanico on Saturday night and so pleased we gave it a go. The care given to the preparation and quality of the ingredients was obvious throughout. Delicious authentic Spanish courses along with all the necessary instructions to simply reheat in the Oven. We also loved the Spanish themed Spotify playlist, thank you and keep cooking!
We went to the Bee hive just after they had reopened under new management. It was on Friday 6 of January. To our surprise they had a music act on. The singer was great covering all types of songs. From 70s to up to date. We left very late and very happy. In fact so happy we decided to return Saturday night only to find that they had another live act. He was again a very good singer and made all feel very welcome. Staff so nice and by the end of the night just knew what we were going to order. Very cosy and with a warm feeling. We will be back and just can’t wait.
