The best restaurants in Cranfield and Marston Moretaine Central Bedfordshire East of England

Wonderful little find. Absolutely delicious cakes and then returned next day for breakfast (also amazing) and more cakes. All the staff are welcoming and friendly and personally loved the music play list. A special little place that is definitely worth a visit (maybe more than one!)

What can i say, we have had this 3 times so far and every time it has been perfect. Chicken tikka masala, garlic rice, pilau rice chicken saag ( spinach) . Service is excellent and they are always on time, even when calling them to add to the order if you have forgot. Thank you Ps : thanks for tonight when i ordered the wrong chicken tikka.

We were looking for a place to eat near yo Cranfield University, with our son. We came across the Gurka Kitchen. We sat down in the bar and looked at the menu. We were told we needed to go into the restaurant to order food. Restaurant was well maintained and not to busy ( for Sunday lunch time). Wife had curried lamb shank, son had tandoori mixed grill and I had the Gurka egg noodles and crispy duck. Food looked great and tasted even better. All three of us said we'd go back again to eat.

Our waitress Emma was friendly and attentive. Children meal for £1 bargain! Food was Delish! Tasty but also came out lovely and hot!

Now called Mehti Indian we had Chicken tikka masala bombay potatoes which were amazing sooo tasty loved it thankyou we will be ordering delivery again which was also very prompt with a delightful driver service

Searching locally for an alternative to the “Hotel / Garden Centre” afternoon tea and stumbled across this wonderful gem of a tearoom. Booked afternoon tea in advance. The service was excellent the food was plentiful and very tasty. We were given a tour around the small museum. Highly recommended and we’ll certainly be returning for one of the meals and of course the obligatory cake.

Pefection. Venue = Stunning, team = brilliant, food = amazing, Value = outstanding. We visited back in October with a view to book our Christmas party in December. Mark and Jackie were more than accommodating with our questions and requests. fast forward to the evening in question and it couldnt have gone more perfect had we tried. the venue easily hosted 50 of us for reception drinks. move through to the gorgeous conservatory for the meal which I might add is michalin type food. the staff were attentive and polite, also adding a little fun to the evening. after dinner we enjoyed a disco in the second room, with ample room and despite what looks like a small bar, no one was waiting to be served. Mark, Jackie and team you made our evening super special. you have a perfect venue for Birthdays, christmas partys and weddings. we look forward to using your venue again.

Had two lunches while at Millbrook. Both fish & chips and chicken & bacon salad were rather good. Other dishes looked pretty good as well, although have not tried them.Efficient and friendly service. Enough seating and convenient parking. Both days were reasonably busy with quite a few regulars.Certainly a place to visit in the area.

Always a very welcome greeting, and food is excellent and you take your own drink as they don't have a licence, but you can get Coke etc: staff are excellent too. The Food is great and they do takeaway.

Excellent coffee, flapjack and a friendly chat. I called in whilst out cycling solo and received a lovely welcome 😁 the peanut butter flapjack was excellent highly recommend

The Mexican chicken flatbread, much less stodgy than a baguette. The salad in mine was all fresh and crisp, great flavour.

Definitely worth a visit nice warm and cosy fire to add to the atmosphere a hidden gem
