Having been regular visitors pre Lockdown the five of us got together at the Forum on Friday evening for what proved to be a very enjoyable evening. The food was as we remembered it EXCELLENT. The restaurant was fully booked but the staff were able to make you feel that you were the only table in the room. whoever is responsible for their training and supervision has our deepest gratitude. will we come again... you bet. Fantastic food in a lovely environment with a great, traditional feel. Our family of 4 (2adults, 2 kids) ate pizza, pasta and wined. The staff were great, very attentive, but not overly eager, perfect!

Awful. If you are looking for authentic, quality Middle Eastern food, look elsewhere. The bamiyeh with rice was given on plastic plates, looked microwaved since it got cold within a few minutes and parts of the plate were not hot. The meat was so tough we couldn't finish it. Dishes were so disappointing, and totally not worth the price. Food is shameful to even be labelled as Syrian.

Chez Amelie Café at the Cambridge Cookery School was recommended to my wife and me as a low-key but high quality place for brunch when visiting Cambridge. Only a short walk from the train station, the food, coffee, and relaxed atmosphere made the walk worthwhile. We opted for Turkish eggs which came with toasted sourdough (the waiter enthusiastically brought more sourdough at our request). Amazing value at just over a tenner each for the food and a coffee

I've been to Urban Chai a few times and have ordered the same thing most of the time, chicken shawarma wrap. This time, I decided to go for the lamb kebab. The food was ok and for me, the quality and service has gone down. When it first opened, the food was great and seemed to be worth the drive (we don't live in Cambridge) however this time it was definitely lacking in presentation, flavor, etc. We also ordered a iced chai drink and "strawberry" bubble tea drink. The chai drinks used to be good but this time both drinks were really bad. The chai drink was overly sweet and the bubble drink literally tasted like strawberry milk, poured on top of ice with bubbles added (not like bubble tea). We didn't finish either one. This time was by far the worst we've experienced from this place. So much so that we won't be going back.

I’ve enjoyed Marmaris for several years. They have a good range of options, the food (meat or chips) have always been prepared freshly to order, the food itself is good in terms of quality and quantity, and service always friendly. In terms of price…really reasonable. I’ve tried a lot of Cambridge Kebabs, but this ranks one of the best takeaways.
