Bella Italia Cambridge Leisure in Cambridge

Steady flow when we arrived but our waitress, Shaunah, was amazing getting around her tables and still being attentive. The food was delicious and my little one was very happy with her meal, stating she was stuffed before dessert but couldn't resist the tempting ice cream cart. Will be going again.

I went for lunch today (June 2024) with a very old (as in, close) friend. I had heard some very distressing news that morning and was quite emotional. I don't know if the staff knew this but our waiter (who I think was also the manager) gave us wonderful service, allowing us to sit for over three hours and take lots of time to order and eat our food. Then, quite by surprise, he said that the desserts were on the house! It was a lovely act of generosity and one that was very much appreciated, especially today.

This restaurant is situated in a leisure park concourse and is huge … but we were the only guests on the Thursday lunchtime when we visited. Our server was polite and friendly. The menu is large with all the Italian style dishes you might want. I chose beef/wine tagliatelle. It arrived quickly, pipping hot and was a fair portion. Strangely, the accompanying mushrooms in the sauce were all the stalks of close-cup mushrooms…the very bits most people don’t eat! It was tasty and satisfying. When the bill arrived I was surprised. Virtually £5 for a glass of draft soda. Best part of £20 for each plate of pasta. Although the food, drink and service was fine, it was very average, and not worth the premium price charged in my opinion.

For a chain restaurant, in shopping arcade, next to a cinema, this restaurant is more than just surprisingly good. I’ve always had good experiences here, in respect of both food and service. What’s surprising is that most of the dishes are made with fresh ingredients, and are prepared with some care and skill. Moreover, they are tasty and satisfying. It would be easy to pass over somewhere like this, but I recommend you don’t. It’s perfect for a pre-movie dinner, and you will be happy with the result.

My very fussy-eater ten year old son says, "It was the BEST pizza I EVER tasted, and you don't need to wait over 10 minutes!!If I could I would rate it a 99999999999999 star but sadly it doesn't go that high😭, BEST PIZZA EVER would recommend, you WILL enjoy this AMAZING pizza.😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃" Staff were very attentive and listened carefully to my son's requirements for his pizza, and it arrived exactly as he wanted. We were quite a high maintenance party as we were in a rush to eat before our movie, and my husband is gluten and dairy intolerant, as well as my very particular ten year old! The restaurant was fairly quiet. Staff looked after us very well and packed up any food we didn't have time to eat so we could take it with us. AMAZING PIZZA 🍕!!!!!

Great service and good family food. Made to feel very welcome and safe at these strange times. Children loved George who really made our meal.

From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. Our waiter George was excellent, helpful, pleasant and professional. The food was brilliant, my wife being a gluten,lactose free vegetarian had more than enough choice and, if not, they provided it. Definitely coming back again.

Impromptu visit to Bella Italia tonight. Served by Miguel tonight,he was fabulous, service was great and attentive - really lovely guy! Food was really good and with my NHS discount made a really well priced dinner for a midweek meal out!

Although social distancing rules were well followed in a place, the atmosphere created by the team was warmly welcoming. Ok it's a chain but the pizza is very good and great value when bought on one of the many promos available. Maybe not one for the ultimate romantic meal but for a good food at great prices it's hitting the brief.

I went with a friend today to try out an italian restaurant and ended up in Bella Italia Leisure Park. We had Carbonara Pasta and Sirloin Steak served with chips,and ended with shots and vanilla cheescake served within few minutes. It was so nice that we must come for more.Our beautiful blonde waitress was very helpful, attentive to our needs and with a beautiful smile that kept us feel welcomed.They have definitely won us as regular customers.
