The best restaurants in Thetford-Castle Breckland East of England

Decided to have a snack here and apparently had run out of jacket potatoes!. Slightly surprised, but had to pick a toastie which was nice and hot and enjoyable.

Excellent food and service at a most reasonable price. Lovely surroundings in the centre of Thetford. Well worth a visit!

I happened to go in on the day they first opened. Home cooked food and cakes, friendly service and the profits go to local community causes.

Had an excellent meal here for a family birthday. A good menu, good portion sizes and great service.

Stayed at thorpe forest 5 years ago and just stayed at the forest again jan 2025 and it was the first things we booked the food and staff are top notch...should be in the top 5 of uk pub sunday roasts.

Visited with a big group for a baby shower, we had 3 preschoolers and a baby with us too. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating of our 3 young ones moving around and exploring. We felt very comfortable here and the owner even put Paw Patrol on for them so they could relax for a bit too. The afternoon tea was lovely and plentiful! If this was more local to me I'd visit more often, definitely recommend.

Nice, clean and presentable cafe. Menu not pretentious. Food tasty and not over priced. Staff friendly and efficient.
