Nice, clean and presentable cafe. Menu not pretentious. Food tasty and not over priced. Staff friendly and efficient.

Visited Thetford for the day on Saturday. Decided to eat here. Lovely little place. Gammon and chips were delicious and the prices are good. The staff are friendly. I would visit again. Thank you

Great breakfast. We arrived on a rainy day after travelling quite a distance and a local business recommended we get breakfast here. I found it really welcoming with a lovely clean environment. The cooked breakfasts are made with quality ingredients and you won't go away hungry. A friendly cafe that I would recommend

there were 3 lovely ladies working here on Sunday 10th of March , they were all exceptional , friendly ,nothing too much trouble service was great , we were a little late going in , but we were all welcomed and not once did we feel rushed , these 3 ladies are a credit , l do not know if they own or are employees ,if they are staff then they must be very valued by their employer, would recommend the meals as well ,well cooked ,good to look at and certainly good to eat, 6 different meals and all served together , well done ladies

It was ok but the food just wasn’t very good. My fried egg was hard, hash browns hard and over cooked, mushrooms and fried slice tasted weird. Acceptable but not great. Staff were nice.

Really nice little cafe, strangely attached to an amusement arcade ! Food was very nice, as were the staff. Toilets very clean.

This is an excellent cafe. Nice interior, central location, good food and drink and a warm and friendly welcome. A good place to call into when on a visit to Thetford Town centre

Best cafe in thetford. Had gammon egg and chips proper gammon ham and all that goes with it. Very nicely furnished inside as well the staff are so friendly and polite Will certainly use Norfolk kitchen as my regular place to eat .

We came for breakfast walked past the weatherspoons and so glad we did. Breakfast was hot tasty and good quality ingredients. The staff all had a smile and were very helpful. Absolutely 5 stars ⭐️

What a find for our breakfast after a walk through the quaint little market we were ready for a bite to eat. An American themed diner serving a range of foods. We had traditional and BIG BOY breakfasts, which were both great sizes. A MEGA is available for the extra hungry guys and gals. Friendly staff, very clean, delicious fresh food which came out quickly.

Top quality breakfast, big portions. Dropped in at 11:00am. Quick, clean and tasty. Staff good. Parking close by.

What can I say; the staff team were excellently friendly, accommodating and helpful. The milkshakes and grub was tasty, hot and fresh! A definite regular for us (family of 6).

Amazing place to eat.You definately need to eat here.We had roast beef,yorkshire pudding,roast potatoes,carrots,peas and cabbage.The meat was so tasty. And tender.The whole meal was cooked well and served with delicious gravy. We followed with syrup sponge pudding,one with custard,one with ice-cream.The food was all fantastic and the friendly staff and customer service was very welcoming.Would certainly recommend and will be back soon.looking forward to trying a breakfast next time.This is a hidden Gem in Thetford.

My wife and I went here for breakfast and we were not disappointed. The quality of the food was excellent and the portion size was very generous. The staff and service was also first class.

We are on holiday from Australia and after staying in Norfolk it was convenient to stop off in Thetford on our way back to London. We discovered this quirky diner and we were delighted with it. My husband thought he was in paradise! Black pudding, hash brown and fried bread!!! All his favourites! The decor is really unique. Great servings and friendly service. Love it ! Reasonable prices for fresh tasty food.

a lovely cafe/diner in Thetford town centre! Can recommend the Big Boy breakfast! x2 bacon, sausage, fried egg, fried slice, hash brown! Also toast and a nice mug of tea - all for just £6.99! Friendly staff too and a nice relaxed atmosphere!

Just a short review to recommend The Norfolk Diner for a lovely place to meet ,have a great freshly cooked breakfast or lunch and be served by the great staff all in all a super little place to sit down , eat and relax .....

I’ve done a review on the Norfolk kitchen before and it was just average at best last time, so I thought I’d try this diner again to see if it had improved, well I can honestly say the food this time was to my liking I had ham egg and chips and my wife had the lasagna absolutely beautiful and plentiful. Will certainly be using this diner again.

If you are looking for a good variety of meals and at a reasonable price, then you should go to the Norfolk Kitchen Diner. Clean facilities, great food and helpful staff, can't recommend highly enough.

Very reasonably priced cheese ommlettes and salad - there were lots of home cooked options and generous portions.

Very disappointed my mum and her friends have visited this place at least once a fortnight for at least 3yrs and smaller portions av always been available until it’s been taken over and they were flat out refused she was very rudely told , won’t be visiting again seems they only want to attract young people

Had to come to Thetford to do some bits and pieces and popped in for a breakfast. Great choice and the veggie breakfast was fantastic. Huge plate of food at a really fantastic price. Great value as it included a coffee or tea and toast. Staff were super friendly. Well done.

We ordered a breakfast which included a free tea or coffee. However we wanted a hot choclate instead and we were told we’d have to pay the extra. Not a problem and expected. The extra to us was the difference between the price of a coffee and a hot choclate. Wrong, to them the extra is the full price of the hot choclate on top of the price for the breakfast including the free coffee. When I drew this to their attention I was told that’s how it is and it came direct from the owner and the staff could do nothing about it. I took this as the staff agreed but were unable to change it. Meaning this was not a one off and others had thought as I did and indeed were in my view overcharged too. I was told that if I wanted I could have the free coffee too. What a laugh. BE WARNED THEY DO OVERCHARGE. Also the food on this occasion certainly was not up to their normal standard is this because I queried the price?

Excellent food. We had a variety of meals, all good quality. Choice of vegetarian food. Extremely friendly service. The lady who served us was outstanding. She was very helpful and kind when our 2 year old grandson got upset (over nothing as toddlers do!). Very calm and understanding - no judging here!

Great value for money nice little cafe clean and great service, if you want a good breakfast pay this cafe a visit.

This Retro, American-Themed Diner is a wonderful gem of a find, we stopped here from Beccles to Sevenoaks on Saturday 11th November 2017.

This is a spotless American themed dinner / cafe. friendly and happy family run business. Great choice of breakfast lunch and dinner menu. £5 for my breakfast and coffee cooked to my fussy request. A casino next door access thru cafe or separate entrance. I great place to eat on your own or couple and groups.

We visited the Norfolk Diner for the first time wanting to try their breakfast. As I had never been in before I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean, fresh and spacious it was. The decor is great, the breakfast was perfect and we will be going again.

We have been going here for over 40 years and they are a great little diner the food is good and the staff are lovely

Great breakfast in here today - the vegetarian breakfast also very good. Great service and great value for money. Also do great dinners - well worth a try if live locally or are visiting thetford.

We stopped for dinner on the way back from the coast on bank holiday Monday. Food was excellent, staff were lovely, service was great. The only downside was that we had a dog with us, he wasn't allowed which is a shame, but OK we can live with that, happy to eat outside. What was rather strange is that we HAD to sit on a wooden bench in the smoking area, and were not even allowed on the decking area which was sheltered from the wind. I cannot think of any good reason for this, and for that alone we will not go back again, which is a real shame as the food and service really was excellent.

We popped in here last week for a bit of lunch with my 3yr old daughter, my friend and her little boy. I love the new revamped American diner style. Staff are very friendly, quick to serve and prices are great. Kids meals are great value, decent portion and includes a drink. My jacket potato was huge and delicious. Will definitely be going back

Been to this diner before but never summited a review before. Well it's been revamped to an American diner inside and it certainly looks fab. Pity the food doesn't match the American look inside. Having said that the food is average at best. One real criticism I must point out is please don't put cheaper sauce in branded bottles.

Good value food in an American style diner. It could be a bit clearer as to whether they offer table service, but overall you should leave well fed whether you have an all day breakfast, or just a sandwich, and not be too unhappy about the bill.
