Decided to have a snack here and apparently had run out of jacket potatoes!. Slightly surprised, but had to pick a toastie which was nice and hot and enjoyable.

We were on a day trip to Thetford and I had looked on Trip Advisor for advice on places to eat and drink. Although Cafe Sourial only had 2 reviews, what stood out were the comments on the friendliness of the owners, as well as the quality of the coffee and food, so we decided to call in. We were not disappointed - the coffe was indeed very good, and the Portuguese custard tarts were delicious.We spent some time chatting to the friendly and welcoming owner and will return next time we are in Thetford.

Had to go to Thetford for a car service. Looked on Trip Advisor for cafes in Thetford before we went. Saw that Café Sourial had only been open 8 weeks, so we thought to give it a go, as it had one review (5-stars). Although we had to wait a while for our food, it was well worth the wait. Coffee was better than many other establishments. Hot paninis were freshly made to order, exactly how you want them. We didn't have any cake, but what there was looked delicious and a fair size too! The café is slightly small inside, ten people would be a crowd, but there are a few tables outside as well. The one thing that really stood out for us was the friendliness of the owners, we were made to feel special and very welcome. Oh, I nearly forgot, the prices are below what you would pay nearly anywhere else. We will return!

I was in Thetford for a meeting and had a little bit of time so I popped in to this little boutique cafe that was slightly hidden away. I got chatting to the owners, who we really friendly and found our they had only been open for 7 weeks. I ordered a cappuccino and the owner said that their coffee is better than Costa Coffee!!!??? Now I'm a big Costa fan and would give that 9/10, so I was a bit sceptical that it would be better...... until I tried it 👌🏽! So all I can say is 10/10!! Great coffee, great owners and if I wasn't getting myself back in shape, it looked like they had some pretty amazing home made cake available! I will be back for sure
