Very nice restaurant, very nice ambiance, excellent service

I always order the same from here. Chips and curry sauce was lovely as always. However, the mixed kebab, something tasted off with the chicken tonight and wasn’t able to eat it. Would order again but may avoid the mixed kebab in future

Had dinner in the restaurant on a busy Saturday night. We were served by a lovely waitress called Emily. She was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Despite the restaurant being rather full, Emily went round with a smile on her face and a spring in her step! We will definitely visit again!

This shop is now closed down however when it was open it was a pleasant and comfortable place to enjoy a coffee or tea

Clean hotel set in lovely country park with stunning views

Looked quite contemporary in the pictures. My room was a bit smelly. Felt like a ‘builder’s hotel’

Wow!! Here it is. A pub that serves up food that is noth delicious and different from the norm. Not a Sunday lunch you can get just about anywhere, instead, a pubunch with more than a splash of food magic...I can imagine the prices might raise an eyebrow or 2, but the food is sublime with the very best ingredients. I understand the seafood is fresh direct from Billingsgate. There's also a different atmosphere here, nurtured by Louis the landlord who welcomes everyone personally and enthusiastically....he's also made the place look fantastic inside befitting of its 16th century origins. Whilst I was there, I heard that there will be a new website very soon. I'll be looking out for that as the only website I could find was one from a previous tenant. We'll certainly be going back as this is a pub full of character and characters....and Louis is the greatest character of them all

both Staff were very friendly and very quick with their service. Food tasted as good as it looked and restaurant was very tidy and spotless. hidden gem in bedford

Really disappointed not gunna lie! 5 little pieces of chicken! Whole tin container of rice no gravy! And was bland!!! Best thing was coleslaw!! Go and try brown eagle in Tottenham and take some tips! Won't be getting food from there again 😔 waste of money honestly! Yet to find a good Caribbean restaurant in Bedford 😤

Terrible experience drove half an hour over to collect my order only to be told 10 minutes before I arrived that the order was unsuccessful and that they cancelled it. As we have literally just pulled up we saw that the entire building is being refurbed but yet they were still quite happy to take your money and process our order and leave us hanging about

We ordered a family grill meal.. kebab chicken and so on…. It came cold, when I say cold I mean it was actually cold. Hot chips but cold meat… cold diner meant cold chicken cold lamb…. We had to reheat it

How can you get a lemon and sugar crepe wrong??? Says fresh lemon, this definitely was bottled. Sugar randomly scattered, couldn't taste anything except for old cheap bottled lemon juice, very disappointed. Served with ice cream and a fork... lol.

SADLY CLOSED PERMANENTLY. SUCH A LOSS TO US ALL. 😭 A wonderfully warm and friendly welcome here.. the food is gorgeous and you can even watch the skittles on a screen, if you can't get close enough to see! Hubby tells me the range of beers is great.. I'm just happy to see plenty of fruit ciders in the cold cabinet 😉 Good car park on pub land.. a garden too, though not yet visited due to it being a very cold March! I thoroughly recommend this family friendly, old fashioned pub with the best of old fashioned values. 😁
