Sundaes Gelato in Bedford

How can you get a lemon and sugar crepe wrong??? Says fresh lemon, this definitely was bottled. Sugar randomly scattered, couldn't taste anything except for old cheap bottled lemon juice, very disappointed. Served with ice cream and a fork... lol.

Really good selection of ice creams

All of the toppings had fallen off my crepe and i didn’t get gelato after i paid extra for it nor did i get the flavour i wanted. Usually the service is amazing here but i was very disappointed today.

The food was packed on it's side, so when we got them out the bag, all the toppings was falling out. Not very nice today unfortunately.

It was really nice here and the service was good too, very nice staff. The crepes were nicely served and tasted amazing, the whipped cream was very good. The ice-cream was tasty too and nicely served. The cheese cake was also great. Good tea and coffee. 100% recommend this place, we had a very good day!!

I'm giving one start because the service was not good, the food was not worthy, because tasty awful, the guy with long hair keep starring at us and we was not felt comfortable, not going there again regret it

One of the most dirtiest shop ever in Bedford, the guy was touching his hair and then cutting the banana with that hairy hands and, also I had hair in my coffee, I would not recommend this place to anyone to visit,

The food was not that great the ice cream was milky and the staff are so rude not helpful staring at people

There was only shake and no cake in the parcel

Please avoid at all costs. Woukd give -10 stars if i could. When order was made we wanted to change as wasn't what we thought we was getting. Was told "that's your problem"! Refused to refund and redo to what we wanted. The girl was rude. And her manager didn't care when got on phone. The worst customer service I've experienced in my life. Will not be going here again!

Several visits to the place, each next one is worse than the previous. Place is loud, not because of the people, but the music. They can't even hear you placing the order and ended up with things I didn't order. Quality wise okay, but I didn't find the place pleasant for the last couple of times.

Absolutely in love went in for the first time this evening The staff were lovely and it all looks gorgeous and tastes even better The only place I have found key lime cheesecake in a few years I’m so happy. Thank u guys so much you are all doing a fantastic job x

Clean, friendly staff, lots of choice and comfortable seats. Nice having low level music in the background and not having to shout to hear each other

This was the worst food and service I have ever had. We ordered the English breakfast which comes with hash browns. This took around half an hour to arrive, and when it arrived it came with sausages instead of hash browns. I asked the waiter where the hash browns were and he said they had none left so they supplemented it with sausages. We are not vegetarians but if we were, this would be hugely concerning. Common courtesy would be to tell us this. The sausages itself were from a tin and tasted awful.The toast was not toasted, or even buttered. We asked for butter & they said they didn’t have any! The eggs were over cooked and rubbery. We also found a fly in our drink. Needless to say, we barely touched our food. The waiter knew there was an issue but didn’t bother coming over to ask. Disgusting food, service and hygiene. Avoid this place!

Absolutely shocking. Waited over an hour and they never delivered our food. No contact number and have to wait 2 days for a response from Just Eat.

This is hugh place serving varieties of Gelato ice cream, Sundaes etc. We were here to celebrate granddaughter success in school final year exam. We had brownie, chocolate chip cookie dough, Ferrero Rocher waffle. Each one was yummy.

food is always good, i think it can be a little pricey but idk what goes into making the food. Worth coming here for a sweet meal

The staff have no understanding of allergies, even with a sign which said to ask if you need to know about allergens. I asked if the sprinkles that were all over the bubblegum ice cream were gluten free for my daughter and the manager just said he doesn't know then carried on his phone call. I had a very disappointed little girl that felt very unwanted due to this. Wouldn't come back!

We both fancied something sweet tonight so thought we’d order in a dessert! We chose a cheesecake and chocolate cake & thought we’d have half of each each…….although both were delicious, there’s no way we could’ve shared! Rather stingy on the portion size!!! Our order wasn’t value for money.

We went in for breakfast. We were the only customers in there. My wife and daughter had pancakes and I had omelette , toast, sausage and beans. It was quite a long wait which wasn't a problem. But the pancakes were stone cold and one of them was absolutely swimming in golden syrup. My omelette breakfast was warm (not hot). I could perhaps understand if the place was busy. This was my first visit to the place and it will be the last

I didn't buy anything for here but was here with my group of friends they bought some food and shakes it is a friendly environment and its good for meeting up with people and so on 😇🙌🏽

The food and drinks were delicious, the staff themselves were courteous and friendly, 5/5 on those points. However the problem was near the end of our stay, some scruffy looking man (we believe he was the owner) just shambled in and started ordering staff members about (no pleases or thank yous, just NOW). He then disappeared for several minutes, and when he returned he put YouTube Music on the television with multiple songs that were uncensored with mature content & swear words, there were several children inside the shop at the time that could obviously hear it. Besides him it was a very pleasant visit.

come on a life skills trip with the pupils from our school and had fantastic experience. wonderful staff, very welcoming, helpful and very friendly. cope so well under pressure with the amount of us. highly recommended and will be coming back

There coffee ☕️ is best hotest coffee no where serves coffee that hot and stays hot

Went with 10 of us for dessert and they kindly pushed 2 tables together so we didn’t have to sit in two groups without even being asked. Very friendly staff and the ice cream was delicious. Favourites were vanilla, pistachio and ferrero!

It's OK, a bit expensive but a good clean place.

Complaint: Very Disappointed!!! Smoothies were made with ice not ice-cream and were just mush, no fruit pieces/real fruit, totally tasteless. No straws were provided either. Mango and Passion Fruit smoothie, same as above. These were no more than standard slushies. Bannoffie Sundae had no real banana, just a couple of dollops of ice-cream with cream on top and chocolate wafer for £9!!! Cherry Sunday had no real fruit, just ice cream with cherry sauce. Cookie dough was not dough, just biscuit. Pot of fruit with chocolate sauce was overpriced at £5 My order totaled just over £40 and was a total disappointment! Wouldn't order from there again!!! Would like a refund please.

Rude customer service which is a shame as they have really nice desserts…my son asked for gelato dessert with marshmallows but unfortunately the one they sell is with strawberry flavoured scoop and my son doesn’t like it. I asked if we could change it for mango (this was never an issue in the past and my family is coming here since the opening) lady behind counter asked her colleague and said that it is not possible when I asked why she just repeated that it is not possible. Later I asked for an explanation and i was told that the wages are calculated of the desserts ordered…I said it doesn’t make any sense…than I was told that the price of different flavours is different and that they make mango flavour differently and is more expensive so I pointed out that you pay 3£ per scoop no matter the flavour so last thing I have heard was “this is the rule and I work here for two years” like that supposed to explain anything…very disappointing…

Delicious waffles, creb, and ice cream. The location and dining area is lovely. Staff are friendly, toilets are clean. We were a big party when we visited, three families about 15 persons, but some how they promptly managed to fit us all comfortably. Thank you!

Milkshake was ok, but lots of lumps and chocolate unblended. Waffle was very disapointing and uneatable, dry cold and rock hard.

I have been coming here for years and have all received great service. The prices are reasonable, the desserts are great and the service time is good too. Definitely a safe choice for desserts in Bedford.

the first sundaes we had was very good but the ones we had this time was a disappointment i do not see how you can use 3 pieces off strawberry's and call it a sundae al so the the one i had a hole in the middle and not a lot off ice cream i think we should have a refund you put them in smaller container s

Order a lot of food from here and usually spot on.. cherry sundae. Twice now turned up in a large cup half full for £9.. not happy today

More cream than ice cream in both sundaes. No chocolate chips, no chocolate buttons. Vanilla ice cream in an all chocolate sundae. Not enjoyable.

Lovely food but let down by service. We entered the guy showed us to a table and gave us the menus then a lady came over told us to come to the counter to order and pay. Restaurants should be pay the bill at the end

Great dessert venue with excellent waffles and ice cream. The only issue I have is a self seating policy which when two people turn up they sit at a table for four which, when you turn up as a four....there's nowhere to sit. Staff are really helpful although I ordered two coffee's at the bar, the order wasn't read back and I obviously wasn't heard (so wasn't charged) but if I'd known, I would have made sure. Apart from that, a decent place.

Woeful service, you order one thing and you get something else. The service is also incredibly slow even when you are the only person in store.

Used to be a great place but last visit left me unpleasant experience. Pancakes were not tasty and coffee as well. Plus when you entering the Caffe, outside tables were full of older man smoking. Really made kids feel uncomfortable going through all this smoke. More like a yard by pub, not kids ice cream place

Excellent desserts. Clean restaurant and plenty of seating too. I would go back again. Staff are also friendly too and good value for food.

Horrible, have ordered 3 items. Driver just left my order next to the doors and went away. 1 item has been missing, I have called to restaurant they said that it is driver fault and I must call to Justeat. Very poor service, 8£ just in the bin. Never in my life will order again food from them!!!

Poor. Asked for key lime pie and received lemon meringue pie. No carrot cake or Victoria sponge available, coffee inferior to cafe Nero or Costa. We will not return.

My friend and I had a most delicious snack and mocktail here. Absolutely "spoilt for choice" as big selection book to choose from. Would definitely recommend. Will definitely be back next time in the area.

The food was delivered on time but it was someone else's! We called the restaurant and they said driver would return but he didn't. We called back after half an hour and they said it was the drivers fault and we should take it up with you. We never got our order and were stuck with someone else's melting ice cream! Luckily Just Eat refunded our money but I wouldn't order from this place again.

The food is delicious in there and I love how they decorated the place. Unfortunately they messed up my order when I went there so I have to give 4 stars but I totally recommend.
