OK I am a kid, only 11 been here alot if times This place is amazing! The food the quality. Jesus it's like jesus made it himself Most of the time I come with my dad Even when I came here on my birthday they sang happy birthday to me 😁 If you want to come here by yourself or even with your family or friends feel welcome to come here. If I could I will give 100000000000/10 stars

Food arrived cold and not cut well. Chewy cold pizza for £43 is not great

Pizza arrived cold and uncooked, still doughy. Half the pizza had no cheese or sauce, was just dough base! Called restaurant and they couldn’t help as it was just eat. Seems like they don’t care for just eat orders.

Pizzas were cold and the gluten free one was supposed to have mushrooms but didn’t

The kids & parents thought it was a great idea, there were doughballs, colouring, pizza making, pizza eating, ice cream & no clearing up for me after! Bonus! Delivery driver location went “unavailable” 10 mins after the original delivery time - which kept moving further away. When driver eventually turned up he said something about losing signal and having to meet his brother. The food was stone cold and tasted bad. Considering we’re in hospital with our infant son and paid almost £60 for this hot meal, this is a very disappointing experience indeed. I tried contacting pizza express directly but two calls went unanswered.

Friendly and polite staff, I was greeted right away. 5 pizzas and sides ready in 20 minutes, very amazing. All of my family members said their food was amazing great quality !

Food not arrived. Restaurant claims this is very common. No way of getting a refund through Just Eat - customer is always wrong!

Service was a bit slow and the children's white chocolate dough balls were an abomination. The pizzas were good.

One pizza had hardly any cheese on it. The other one was very overdone.

Why do restaurants squeeze in tables in spots that really are not designed for one by the till and door and front window is no space for a table

Placed an order through Just Eat, which took 2 hours to get to me, Just Eat were worse than useless to sort out, but I rang the restaurant Pizza Express and told them the problem and spoke to Daniel who couldn’t have been more helpful, he even rang Just Eat on my behalf to find out when delivery was happening, thankfully he made fresh pizza for us (as old ones had gone cold through waiting) and finally they were picked up 2 Hours after I placed order. But my review is for the lovely pizzas and the lovely Daniel for his help. As for Just Eat…I have deleted the App!!!

Placed my order at 18.55 and it was delivered at 21.05, and that was down to just eat delivery Not the restaurant so have now deleted the Just Eat App!!

Pizza was cold, dry like it was made a day ago, I ordered a thin base but this was so thin the base was like dry paper. It wasn’t sliced, no taste just of pepper. For the price over £22 it was a disgrace I ended up walking to the supermarket to buy a pizza to cook. My children were starving and very hungry and disappointed. This was their treat.

The *new* Mac and Cheese was nothing of the sort. Just pasta spirals in a gloopy, garlicky sauce that didn’t even taste of cheese. And for almost £16 the portion size was shocking. Stick to their pizzas 🍕

If you're not indigenous from the UK and you want to eat at this outlet in the daytime, make sure you book in advance or they won't let you in. Seems like they have a dodgy fellow amongst their staff.

Went in at lunchtime, and despite the restaurant having free tables, we were told they could not serve us. Asked if we'd made a mistake and whether we should have booked in advance, we were told that we could just walk in off the street, but today they would not serve us. No reason was given as to why, and we could tell they just wanted us to quietly just go away, which we did. Much to their delight, I presume. I can not recommend this restaurant, and I can share any reason for their discrimination against us as they were silent in their responses.

Food was great and the service was impressive.

We booked a table for 7 people, 20:00 on 9th August 2024. We tried some of the new menu options and we weren't disappointed. I had the american double cheese and it was amazing. We all had great food and excellent service by Jazmin. It's nice not have to flag down staff for drinks. Food arrived hot, well presented and tasty. Will definitely return.

Had a great time! The manager we recognised from the Rushden Lakes branch was as welcoming as ever, and our waitress was lovely! Service and food were both amazing!

Great children’s party at pizza express in Bedford. My daughter and her friends absolutely loved this party experience and it was well organised and prepared. Thank you to Kate who managed my daughters party and cleaned up afterwards. The team was great and I would highly recommended as it engages the children to cook and focus. Thank you !

My family have been coming to pixza express for years and have always enjoyed our experiences. On this occasion i ordered pasta carbonara for myself and my children and was disappointed. For the price of £15.95 I expected a decent portion, a creamy sauce, and pasta cooked well. We got none of that. The amount of pasta received was shocking. It was dry, over cooked and rubbery, I have had this carbonara in other branches and it was alot better. On a positive note the calamari was great and the dessert. Service was also great. Please please improve the quality of cooking as we do normally enjoy our meals at Pizza Express. Thanks

Popped in for a quick bite while walking to Bedford Park for the Summer Session. The food and service were excellent.

Food was good but missing the drink from the bundle, no butter with the dough balls and no sauce with the brownie. Seems to vary each time I order as to where you get the sauces or not!

Excellent pizza Awful service. We were a party of 2, arrived at midday on a Saturday and were seated swiftly. PE was quiet and we were seen to and eventually placed our orders (one starter and two mains between us) which came to us fairly quickly. We asked for the dessert menu afterwards and had a discussion about what was on there (coffee etc). We were then forgotten about. We gathered the attention of someone from PE who brought our waitress back who apologised and then said she could not recall us wanting anything for afterward. She came around with a dessert menu and walked off. We decided what we wanted between us and tried to get someone's attention again to order. We then decided to pay for the starter and main instead and didn't order the desserts/coffee. A dessert and coffee was consumed at home which saves money but did cut my catch up short.

Well appointed, clean restaurant- we visited late afternoon, so it was fairly quiet. Very welcoming staff and extremely polite.

Mi marido y yo compartimos un entrante de pan de ajo mozzarella, que era agradable y pequeño (como esperaba) pero extremadamente sabroso. Luego tomé la lasaña, que era preciosa. Lo redondeé con sorbete de frambuesa y helado de stracciatella (vainilla con chispas de chocolate), absolutamente precioso, y bebí agua. ¡Fueron las mejores 989 calorías que he tenido en siglos! El personal era amable y el servicio atento y eficiente. Una gran noche. ¡Volveremos!

First time ordering from this place I got a joke. burnt pizza, splashed on the sides like somebody would put hand on it. I got pizza that actually I didn't order. Always pizza express has their label that States it's not touchednetc. this time I got everything in plain pizza boxes. I'm really disappointed and probably will think twice before trying again order anything. Generally pizza taste like bread.

The delivery courier was really good and the service was the fastest I’ve had so far from any resturant .

I can't speak for the atmosphere I had it delivered but when I say you man need to have this food its yam you know the cheese cake will blow your mind I have no idea what I wouldn't do for another it's dangerously good like something bout that got me like okay what do I have to do that list don't exist big man it's done already dough balls and pasta were great as well I was having a damn good time I'm close to cussing god for only giving me one stomach craving like a lunatic but no room for more I need help man

both pizzas were full of water, there was no mozarella either, today I had a very unpleasant experience with the order, unfortunately I could not eat this pizza. And I don't understand a very peppery thing.

Great food and exceptional staff waiting on us, who explained about the VIP 50% offer enabling us both to enjoy half price pizzas. Despite the restaurant being busy, the food was delivered in a timely manner.

This Pizza Express has been around for as long as I can remember, and I've always had a great experience, from attending birthday parties when I was little, right up to a dinner catching up with a friend or a date night. The service is always prompt, staff are friendly, and I love the decor. I really like the consistency across the brand, as I know I can go to near enough any Pizza Express and experience the same great service wherever I go! It's not the cheapest thing around, but it's always a nice treat to get to go!

Excellent service on a busy day. There were 10 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was as expected and we all got what we ordered with no problems. Great experience and a thoughtful waitress who kindly kept picking up stuff the kids had dropped. Thanks for a lovely experience.

It says delivered on my just eat app but I haven't received my order! I called the restaurant and they said it was out of there control and to contact just eat.

Good food but needed warming up on delivery

The snowball dough balls were pretty disappointing - they were not dusted with cinnamon and icing sugar and were just completely plain dough balls with a tiny pot of chocolate sauce. I feel £7.45 is a lot of money for what arrived!!! The picture on this site is also completely different to what we received - perhaps your photo needs updating to reflect what is sent?

So it was my first time ordering Pizza express for a home delivery and god knows why I didn’t go for the regular chain where their business model is home delivery. The food arrived stone cold! Like you eating the leftovers in the morning. Called the restaurant, no answer. No option on their app where I ordered from and no option to even open the order detail on the Uber eat app, they use them as a delivery partner. Big mistake, will learn from it!

Pre theatre dinner trip so there at 5.30. service & food great. Obviously popular as it was quite busy & the atmosphere was good. Just a couple of issues (hence 4 stars) 1. Potatoes in Nicoise salad were not cooked enough 2. Nowhere out the front for ciggie butts, which encourages litter. Other than this I would not hesitate to book again 👏

I have ordered using our new postcode but our address had not updated. Please can someone help me I can’t get through to anyone to help including pizza express. The order had been turned away from the current residents of the old house even though the order says it was delivered.
