I had an absolutely amazing experience at Basildon Turkish Grill! From the moment the food arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The mixed grill platter was a feast for the senses—perfectly grilled chicken, juicy lamb, and tender kebabs, all bursting with authentic flavor and expertly seasoned. The portions were incredibly generous, and everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The side dishes were just as impressive—creamy hummus, rich garlic sauce, and a fresh, crisp salad that balanced the richness of the meat beautifully. The warm, fluffy bread was the perfect companion to soak up every last bit of deliciousness. Even the sauces were full of depth and flavor, especially the spicy one that added an extra kick! To top it off, the service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere on the terrace made for a relaxing, enjoyable lunch. I can confidently say this was one of the best Turkish meals I’ve had in the UK. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back!BEST IN ESSEX!

I was really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, the food was a big letdown. The dishes were completely lacking in flavor — no seasoning, no salt, just very bland overall. It felt like no effort was put into making the food taste good. That being said, the staff were very friendly and attentive, which was the only redeeming part of the experience. Sadly, good service doesn’t make up for tasteless food. Won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

Been here 3 times, on all 3 occasions we was told they have ran out of chicken and theres a 35 min wait. Last time coming there was only butterfly chicken left LOL. Avoid this place if you dont want to be dissappointed.

Portions are not generous but it's generally good

Nasi goreng is not nasi goreng; it costs £14.25 and there’s no seasoning in the rice at all. Birria tacos spicy brisket, well definitely not spicy and again no seasoning in the beef. Horrible would not recommend at all, just get their normal brunch breakfast because they’re easy to make

Just had a lovely Dinner here and our Waitress Kristy was lovely, very polite and really looked after us thank you 😊
