The Crane Pub in Basildon

Nice and clean loads of TVs only show the premier league not good as a Leicester fan. Only a few people were in the pub but it was very loud and the language was not great and that was just the women.

It’s an excellent place to go to for a drink. Great beer selection, fantastic staff. Come here regularly with friends and have a brilliant time every time we come. You’re made to feel welcome and really enjoy your experience. Peaceful atmosphere,Would recommend to anyone to come. 5 stars.

The Crane is a lovely local pub that ensure customers are satisfied with their visit. They have a wide range of cocktails, wines and beer with constant deals on the GK Sport app (10% off an hour before a match, during a match and an hour after a match, 20% on the score king and a free complimentary drink when you sign up). BOGOF is available on Fridays and Saturdays from 8pm on selected drinks so you cannot go wrong! If any sport is on they have TVs in every direction including a projector. The pub is kept clean and tidy ready for any new faces that fancy a quick pint! The Crane has a lovely beer garden with umbrellas available on a hot day ☀️ you can enter this through the pub ◡̈ Also, dogs are always welcome! This includes in the pub too, just ask and the staff will provide your furry friends with a bowl of water and also treats if they haven't already been eaten by Max (the pubs pooch not a member of staff!) No matter what the occasion is I have always had a good time in this pub thank you ☺️

Hi I would just like to say me and my friends has the best night at this pub on Saturday the bar staff where so polite and it is such a friendly pub we meet new people to we will be definitely coming back next week for some yummy cocktails and to see you all again best pub around

This is undoutably the freidliest pub in Basildon and the staff and manager the best . would recomend to one and all to visit and enjoy the atmosphere and drinks , also Wednesday's lunch time BINGO with all takings going to McMillans all good fun

What a welcoming and relaxing friendly experience I had when visiting with friends. The beer garden is immaculate, child and dog friendly. With the C.O.L, the drinks were very affordable for everyone. Will definitely be returning to experience the food they have on offer from one of their menus.

Hi, I would like to share my personal experience about my visit to The Crane Pub which was amazing. Great prices, a large variety of drinks and lovely and friendly staff which make you feel welcomed.

What a lovely little pub. Popped down to see the Elvis tribute act and had an absolute blast, the staff were amazing and kyra is super friendly and so efficient and took time to help me find a drink I would love (strawberry Malabo). The locals were all very welcoming and danced the night away with us. Will absolutely be going again.

I've been going into this little pub over a year now so changed my rating to a 5 as I've met some amazing friendly people in this pub. The staff are very helpful and polite. It has tvs everywhere, so perfect for the sports. Unfortunately they don't do food, but have a great selection of crisps :) it is hidden away in a nice residential area.

I drink in this little friendly pub most evenings as they have a great selection of beer and it's really cheap, nice, cold and refreshing after a hard day's work. The bar staff are very friendly welcoming and helpful. They offer free pool on a Monday and Thursday and good old fashioned bingo on a Wednesday all money goes to a fab charity, macmillan. They have a Facebook page, which shows upcoming events. They are a Green king oub so if you download the season ticket you get discount, absorbs of prizes too. I would recommend this pub to anyone.

This is a great pub thats hidden just off whitmore way. I love how friendly it is, the staff are so helpful and polite. The beer is reasonable they even have the green king season ticket where i got a complimentary pint, then an addidtional 10% discount when the footy or other sports are on. They have a huge screen to watch that on too. Def pop in and sample this gem for yourself!

Great, welcoming pub. Was very impressed with the variety of gins which is always good. Staff very friendly, been a few times with the hubby but this was a girls one and it didn't disappoint, will definitely go again.

Been years since I was in here last, nice to see the low standards are being upheld… This place was a regular pub I’d visit about 30 years ago but hadn’t been back since. It’s just a local pub but I’d have thought Greene King would have upheld some minimum standards. Anyhow a couple of the tap beers weren’t available, I would imagine it’s a bit of a schoolboy error for a pub to run out of beer but what do I know? I had a couple of pints of Peroni which was fine washing down some crisis and peanuts. Music was a little loud but tolerable. Place could do with redecorating or at least a good clean (every couple of decades perhaps wouldn’t go amiss) but otherwise it’s ok for a local pub I guess. Maybe’s we’ll visit again in another 30 years…

I enjoy going there as I have noticed that beside the nice and polite staff, the pub is very clean compared with other pubs I have been lately and have good prices as well. On top of that they have free pool every Monday and Thursday. Also,they do loads of events during the weekends. I would recommend to he pub , and if you don't believe, go and see yourself :) !!!

Excellent establishment, it’s a clean environment with friendly staff. Drink is very reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is good too. I feel welcome every time I walk in the door, and the family friendly culture is what keeps me coming back. Its a thumbs up from me for the staff and this historical establishment.

This pub is great, the staff are so friendly and helpful, even with all the restrictions it was still very warm and welcoming.

Visited last Friday, what an absolutely fantastic night, even with all the restrictions in place the staff are an attentive,friendly fun bunch... loved the giggles and banter. Rock n roll bingo was on, that was hilarious and even better cos we won! An excellent range...

had a great night here, made to feel very welcome, well organised with one way system, this was all explained to us on entry. Staff approachable and helpful... well where do I start, pool table, provided with sanitising wipes, very efficient... then the gin selection,cider,beer,cocktails......
