First visit for lunch on a Bank Holiday Monday for my husband’s birthday, really friendly staff our waiter Seb made us feel so welcome. Food was lovely and lunch special was very good value for money. Will be returning thank you.

We really like this place, been numerous times now, the food is always delicious & hot. And the service is always outstanding, this time we had Junior as our waiter.

My son took me there for dinner yesterday. He'd been there before but it was my first time and it will not be my last. The staff especially Keci were friendly, always smiling, polite and so attentive. The place was clean and nicely decorated. We had 2 starters, 2 mains which I couldn't even finish and 2 drinks. The portions were big and the price for what I consider fine dinning was spot on. Definitely a hot spot that everyone should go and try.

Happened to be visiting overnight and have to say I was very impressed with the food, of which there was way too much for me to eat. Staff were friendly and chatted which made a nice change and were not rushing to get you out of the door. Would eat here again next time I was about in the area

My friends and I was their on Saturday the 12th April 2025. And didn't make a reservation and was able have table. We were looked after by Mr Yasarat. our waiter. Happy to serve us with a smile and interact with us. Our starter and main was on time. The food was quality and delicious. I'll definitely will come back again with my friends

I visited buzz kitchen yesterday with my family and I have to say one of the best resturaunt in Basildon by far. The service, food atmosphere were superb and second to none. Would highly recommend visiting this resturaunt and will definitely be visiting again. Big thanks to H who was very attentive and made sure we got everything we needed.

Servers were rude and felt like we was being rushed. There was one point I was convinced I saw a rat run around in the kitchen. Food was served with poor quality and presentation. They started speaking Turkish to other servers whilst still talking to my table ignoring us half way through .

This is definitely our favorite Türkiye restaurant! The food is absolutely fantastic, catering to a variety of dietary needs without compromising on flavor. On our latest visit, our server, Keci, went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional. His friendly demeanor and willingness to help made us feel welcomed and valued. Not only did he provide top-notch service, but he also took the time to teach me a few words in Türkçe, which added a personal touch to our meal. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Turkish cuisine and outstanding service. You won't be disappointed!

I ate at the Buzz Kitchen Saturday, I’ve eaten here many times over the years and the food is always lovely and the staff are always so polite, however Saturday the food was lacking in flavour compared to usual which was a real shame. I’m not sure if there’s a new chef as it didn’t taste quite the same for myself or my husband unfortunately and the lamb was more chewy than normal, but our server Keci was very attentive and friendly. We’ll be back in the hopes it was just a one off as we usually eat here several times a year without issues!

Went for mother's day, I wasn't a fan of the staff's vibe. I ordered the lamb shank which was lacking flavour. I requested the dessert menu from a staff member and didn't receive it, so I just decided to ask for the bill which was very difficult as well. I won't be back.

Waited ages for our main meal, waiter was knocking onto glass to tell chef to hurry up. When the food did come, there was a hair in my food. Toilets are not clean, stains in the toilets, and the toilet bowls are brown. Just needs a drop of bleach every night when the restaurant closes to keep clean. Waiters constantly staring at us, making it very uncomfortable. Definitely over hyped, wouldn't return. Will stick with deniz turkish in Basildon Town centre.

Such a lovely experience at Buzz Kitchen! Will definitely be returning. The staff were so lovely and attentive. We didn't feel rushed at all so we could really enjoy ourselves and our food. The food was absolutely lovely and made so quickly. We even got some free bread and dips which was a lovely surprise. Nice atmosphere, very nice service

Went last night with my partner, food & overall atmosphere was great. However, there was a situation that made us feel very uncomfortable. One staff member in particular walked past our table 3 times waving and pointing his hand at us, and shouting/moaning in their language to his colleagues. Not the best way to be greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant. Whatever was going on, should have been out of sight of customers.

Very bad experience. Our waiter was useless, got several orders wrong, had to wait ages for our drinks. Had to ask for bread for the hummus three times. One waiter was very rude. The chicken on one meal came out pink and had to keep asking for items we had requested. Will not be returning

Haven’t been there in while and paid a visit today! Food has gone down badly ! It used to be good and didn’t mind to pay for the quality! I won’t go back

We like the ambiance, the food is great. Service is not good as soon as you enter they welcome us by saying you got 2 hrs to eat. We ordered shared platters and we were provided with small plates and found very uncomfortable to eat, food was skipping off the little plates and very unpleasant I did not enjoy the nice food. The staff are rushing we were still seated on the table and they are wiping the table already and telling us that the next costumer is coming and that I find really realy rude, McDonald's service is far better. There are other Turkish restaurants that treats costumers decently, politely and with respect.

Me and the wife went here as a one off on Sunday and it was amazing. Service was great staff were chilled and very accommodating. Food portions were great and tasty!! Clean venue and would definitely go back. Old fashioned cocktail was banging!!!

Go elsewhere. Found the food to be overpriced for what they are offering, microwave rice and 6 chunks of dry flavourless meat, menu is large so you may have different experience with other dishes, is also unnecessarily bright creating a strange atmosphere, cannot fault the staff

Lovely looking restaurant but it seems the cost to kit this out comes from the cost of food. Mixed shish £23 came with three bits of average lamb and three bits of average chicken hidden amongst the salad to think it was a decant size portion. One of us had a moussaka which came out cold. And one person did not get their plate until others were nearly finished. Really not good value for money. Go to another restaurant in the area.

Steak freezing cold and I mean cold, hair on sons dinner, another steak asked for rare and got well done salad gone down hill no onion half a cherry tomato loads of lettuce and red cabbage that was it, this place gone down hill from when we last went when it was kavern kitchen, don’t knows what’s gone on but it’s lost its mojo, sorry won’t be back

Just bought lunch at buzz kitchen and the food appear to be left overs from last night. Octopus, lamb, bulgur couscous all stale, had to bin it all. The only food that was okay was the chicken. I hope they read this comment because I am contacting the Health and Safey Executive. This is not the first time they have done this. I wonder why they changed their name

Buzz Kitchen - A Delightful Turkish Dining Experience in Basildon! My visit to Buzz Kitchen was nothing short of amazing! For starters, we enjoyed a delightful combination of chips, hummus, and their complimentary freshly baked bread with dips—absolutely delicious and perfect for sharing. In the mains, we opted for the Veg Moussaka and pasta. The Moussaka was creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor, while the pasta was cooked to perfection. The presentation of the dishes was just as impressive as the taste! The ambience is to die for, with great music and a spacious, comfortable seating area that makes for a relaxed dining experience. The staff were helpful, cheerful, and added to the warm atmosphere of the restaurant. The clean and well-maintained restrooms were also a plus. With ample parking, great food, and a lovely vibe, Buzz Kitchen is excellent value for money. I’ll definitely be coming back soon with my family. Highly recommended! 🌟

Loved everything here. We went on a Saturday evening without booking, no wait at all to get our table. The hot seafood starter was delic and such good value for money. The mixed grill as a main dish had nice soft meat with pleasant chargrill flavour. The live music was very entertaining. The only negative side was that plates were sliding on the table. Please put some plate mats on the tables to prevent people knocking plates off the tables when trying to cut their food. :D

Went for fun, we got 'robbed' We usually use this location for team gathering or business meetings lunch. This time we went for food and drinks as team. We had a bill of £507, and we received a receipt with service charge involved (no option shown) I call the restaurant to discuss this with manager, that we should of had an option whether we wanted to be charged for the service, also we tipped £20 in cash too as we did not notice the charge in the bottom of receipt at that time they basically take approx £70 in service. Manager said different to what receipt says. Either fix the receipt or stop taking money from people without asking if that's fair.

The atmosphere of Buzz Kitchen is amazing. The infrastructure and the vibe of the place is too good. I went on a team dinner and everyone loved the place. I ate vegetarian starters which was good in taste. Also had coke which was normal. The last thing i ate was a vegetarian main course quick was not at all good in taste. I couldn’t complete it. Attached picture is of the vegetarian main course. Would not suggest having that. Also the quantity served is worth the value for money. Overall it was a good experience.

Great food, friendly staff, not cheap but worth every penny. Recommend the octopus starter, the mix grill main, big portions and the bread with the dips is amazing

I recently visited this restaurant hoping for a great meal, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The food I ordered came out undercooked and pink, which is not what I expected from a place that should prioritize food quality. To make matters worse, when I mentioned the issue to the staff, they told me that eating it that way could make me ill, which was both alarming and frustrating. On top of that, the beer I ordered was flat, which really ruined the whole experience for me. When I brought up these issues and asked if they could offer any sort of discount for the inconvenience, they not only refused but were also quite rude in their response. I believe that customer service is key to a good dining experience, and this was far from what I expected. I left feeling frustrated and let down. I hope they can improve their food quality and customer service in the future because, as it stands, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

When a restaurant looks this good it simply has to be tried. The comfortable and modern surroundings are a great indicator of the wonderful authentic Turkish Cuisine here. Served & cooked to perfection,this has to be the bar set for their competitors . Quite simply the best Turkish food I've ever tasted. Thanks for getting everything right.

Having visited Taz many times & on occasion Aspera, Buzz lacked all the warmth & atmosphere of the other 2 venues. Taz & Aspera are always busy & and lively, but this space felt empty with only a few occupied tables. Might be an idea to screen off parts of this restaurant, when not busy, in an effort to create a smaller & more 'buzzing' environment.

I’ve been coming to this place since early 2022, and I’ve never had a problem. Always been polite and friendly staff And the food has always been top-notch. It is now if anything even better following a recent rebrand. Will continue to come

Wow. Went out as a family with kids age 9 and 13 and was told to eat at Buzz Kitchen because its the best. Well it did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful, service is impeccable, all the staff are so friendly and attentive. Now on to the food... juicy, tender and full of flavour. I had the lamb shank, it was huge and the meat just melted off the bone and was almost as soft as the creamiest mash that accompanied it. The portions are huge even the kids meals. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited recently for dinner after its change from Kervan Kitchen to Buzz Kitchen and we had a great time. The set menu offers make dining here much more affordable on a weeknight (especially with kids) and the quality of the food is still fantastic. We’re big fans of Taz already, and will certainly be returning to Buzz Kitchen in future! The lamb and chicken shish are exceptional 👌

Went with my Mrs to try out. Food was good but there are other restaurants that do better. Still enjoyed entry atmosphere and was kept clean and the drinks were good. I would go back to try for the second time. Hopefully they learn how to make mojito properly lol.

I didnt expect much when we decided to eat here but believe me, it is the best food I've had in a long time. I had to take my ribs home to crush the bones cos they were soooo good. The mixed platter my husband had was excellent. This is my new favourite place. I looooove it.

Visited for a friend's birthday on a Friday night and had a superb evening. Decor is very good, food excellent and service perfect. I had chicken livers for starters and lamb and adana shish for mains with generous amounts of rice and salad. Our whole party had a great evening and would certainly visit again.

Kervan Kitchen used to be one of our favourites restaurant, but since it changed hands the food was bland not as tasty as before unfortunately. It does look good but it doesn't taste the same. The owner and staff are lovely.

First of all this place is BEAUTIFUL great for dates, family get together sand cocktails with the girls. speaking of the rasberry bomb was AMAZING and the blackberry gin is a must with lemonade. I had the mousakka and they put together a to go box for me because the portions are generous! everyones food was lovely and looked fantastic. I even managed baklava made fresh with ice cream and it was to die for. It was my first time there and I was blown away by how welcoming and accomidating the staff were, very polite and always attentive. we didnt have to look around for help once. Fully recommend and I will be taking friends and family there in the future. (It was my birthday dinner table of 6)

Came here for a birthday meal, Argen our waiter was one of the most genuinely helpful and friendly people iv encountered serving in a restaurant. The place is decorated beautifully and the food was delicious. This sounds like a paid review but genuinely the evening was a lovely experience and our birthday girl had a brilliant time. 10/10 well done peeps

Had a lovely early dinner here today with my mum and sister. Fantastic service and food, the new owner was making sure everything was ok and very attentive. A very good atmosphere for a weeknight we will be back again. The Baklava was so delicious, a perfect way to finish the meal.
