Ela was an amazing waitress so kind and attentive. She helped us out with everything she needed. The 2 course lunch deal is great value for money and you get generous portions here too. Thanks Ela! Amazing service :)

We didn’t have to wait long to be seated and once we were our server Richard was very friendly, attentive and fulfilled all our needs.

Food was lovely as always, came out in good time, Ela was so lovely and attentive, a credit to the Honeypot - just a delight!

The waitress Niomi was the best me and my wife have ever had. Quick,efficient, joyfull to talk to. A treasure. Look after her. Price for some of you main meals are a bit over the top considering you can get in a lovely country pub and a bit better quality for less and better ambience.

First time here since refit (and will not be the last!)and looks smart. New menu too and super impressed. Steak, chicken and prawns were hot, cooked perfectly and tasty. Chicken trio was lovely too (cajun breast has a cracking kick to it!) hot, tender and full of flavour. Served by samantha who was just the right level of attentive! Let us enjoy our meal and nothing too much trouble. Great job all round.

Ela served us a great lunch in the Honeypot. We have met Ela before and she is always very professional, attentive without being intrusive. A great member of staff 👍

The menu has had a change so my regular go to wasn't an option.Settled for haddock and chips .The haddock was a good size and was really nice.Chips you now seem to get a smaller portion. Prices seemed to have gone up but the meals have got less amount of food on them.My friend had a chicken dish which has cornbread on the side this wasn't pleasant and was quiet dry ,she much preferred the corn on the cob.Can't fault the staff all that we came across were nice.Salad bar could do with being topped up more as some of the bits where basically empty.

Over priced however good food and service

Apart from the lady who served us who was honestly fantastic, everything else was really bad. Waited 45 minutes for our food, when it arrived it wasn't even hot and half the table didn't eat their chicken because it was so bad. One person was sick that evening which I would put down to the food served. Will not be returning or recommending.

Had richard as our server tonight for mine and my partners anniversary. he was very attentive and very helpful and friendly. Also they were very accommodating when we had to change the time of our booking.

Pre booked a table and was seated right away on arrival. All staff were friendly especially our server Hollie, she was so attentive and spoke to all the adults and children. The food was great.

We went to Harvester before the refeb and it was always great. But we have been again since and it looks great. We went and had the Christmas dinner this year the food was amazing the service was outstanding. We didn't feel rushed at all, we offered extras and always asked of.we needed more drinks.or.anything else. I absolutely loved the Vicount ice cream Sunday and think they should.add it to there normal menu.

Food is usually good but the Christmas Turkey meal was poor. One piece of carrot that was a half, not lot of meat and not much gravy. Meal is geared around extras that you add on and even then "extra gravy" was less than an egg cup for £4. Not great id avoid for a Christmas meal, normal menu is good if a little expensive.

Decor been upgraded and very pleasant. Could do with the food upgrading but about what we expected and wasn't unenjoyable. Service was great even though busy and the waiter looked after us very well. Will come again but wait until we have a voucher.

Fantastic food and experience overall - handled multiple allergy and dietary requirements incredibly well. Jenny was very friendly and really helped us feel well catered for with the allergen requirements we had.

Every visit is a great, and the staff make all the difference. They are incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and attentive, always ensuring everyone is happy, especially the kids, who were made to feel so special. It’s clear they put in a lot of effort to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere, even when it’s busy. The team here deserves all the praise for their hard work and exceptional service.

Fantastic atmosphere, very welcoming.

I came here with my work for our christmas meal. Colette was our waitress and she really was lovely, she couldn't do enough for us. The food was great, i am very fussy and get anxious ordering as i make amendments, but Colette was fabulous and really made me feel at ease! We also spoke with Billy who was lovely. We all had a lovely evening, so thank you very much!

Our waitress Lily was very helpful. The only bad thing I can say is that the restaurant was quite cold and drafty, even my Dad sat with his coat over his legs for the whole evening.

My mum and I visited tonight and had the best meal out we have had in a long while. The venue was lovely, our waitress kay was wonderful, helpful and efficient. The food was delicious well done guys!

Great lunch meal, great service by Hollie

Rarely have a bad meal here and it's great for the kids. We probably come here with our kids more than any other restaurant. It's because it's easy, enjoyable and the staff are always happy to see us. Most of the staff even remember us when we return which is really nice. When taking advantage of the lunch time deals as well, it can be a very affordable meal. Out of all of the Harvester's I have been to, this one is my favourite by far. Update to this review 14/11/2024 - we returned to the restaurant today just after they have had a complete refit/makeover. What a difference it has made! It looks brilliant inside and there's so much more space now! The place just feels so much more open. Really has improved the place, you must visit. Also has the festive menu today and it was delicious. Really enjoyed it!

Great food at a good price quick friendly staff well done

Been several times now and each time the food & the staff have been spot on. Without a doubt one of the best Harvester's around which we have to travel 10 miles to get to, bear in mind I have a harvester a mile away from home but we don't go there.

Some items not available on the menu. Food hot, well presented and OK. Not over large portions made up with the Harvester signature salad bar. Pleasant, polite and friendly front of house staff.

We don't normally go here but toby carvery was opening later that day. Most of the food was good, bacon was overcooked, and so were the eggs. Service was not good. We got our tea/coffee, and she said she would be back in a moment to take our orders. A table of 12 or more turned up, and she took their order, which took a long time. At this point, we were contemplating leaving. She should have taken our orders first. On the table of 12 or more was a woman talking about giving birth in great detail really loudly, which was really annoying. I left with a headache. wouldn't go here again.

Ela gave us excellent service she was friendly and very helpful. The food was lovely. Didn't wait to long. Would definitely recommend and return. This was our first visit very impressed especially as it was a Sunday.

Quick and friendly service typical fast food but good quality food, spacious seating and friendly atmosphere was an enjoyable experience for a fast food family restaurant.

We always get good service here and the food has always been great.

The menu had changed since last time and the vegan options for my mother were more limited than before. That being said, the restaurant staff went out of their way to help allowing her to order the garden tacos despite being after 17:00. I understand the need for a restricted menu but it needs to cater for all. Apart from that everyone enjoyed their food and had a good evening.

Ate here for lunch today with family, our waitress hollie was exceptional, great customer service, food was lovely and she was brilliant with my grandaughter def deserves the 5 star review, will def eat at this pub again

Can't believe that they got rid of my two favourites dishes off the menu. Crackerjack prawns gone mega ribs gone. Had the normal ribs the other day not even worth eating hardly any meat between the bones. Still got lovely people working there though.

Lovely new menu, lots of choice. Our waiter/server Joe was absolutely wonderful. He was very attentive, great knowledge of the menu and really made our evening comfortable and stress-free. Joe was very friendly and professional!

Had the most amazing experience today. I don’t always come out to eat at a restaurant but harvester will definitely be a place I will be returning too. I had a lovely steak and also tried some ribs which were amazing. I cannot fault the table service I received from the lovely server named Stacey. She was very accommodating and she was always polite and made my family feel very comfortable. Free salad with the meal which I defiantly couldn’t turn down :) all round brilliant :)

I am writing to express my gratitude for the exceptional customer service I received tonight. Although I had placed an order for a couple of TGTG bags, I was informed upon arrival that the rotisserie chicken had run out. Despite the inconvenience, the manager, who I believe was named Daniel, kindly allowed me to take the salads that were part of the order. Furthermore, as a gesture of goodwill, he generously included a fudge cake along with the dessert goodie bag that I had ordered. I was truly impressed by his sincere apologies and genuine concern for my satisfaction. While I regret not being able to enjoy the half chicken, I must commend the deliciousness of the salads and desserts. Thank you once again for your attention to this matter. I look forward to visiting your establishment again in the future.

We had a lovely late lunch here today, 20/09/24. All the staff were amazing, sorry I didn't catch anyone's name, amazing service, food was amazing so well done to the chef's. This is a lovely place and have been here often. We had the "Wing and Surf Combo" .....AMAZING! I don't normally have streaks when out dining as it always seems tough but I took a chance today and the steak was perfect. Well done all today.

Me and my partner went for dinner & the lady that served us, i believe her name was hollie, made the experience absolutely incredible for us. she was so happy to help us & knew how to talk to customers. i really enjoyed my meal purely for the sake of her customer service. hollie if you’re reading, you are a super star. thankyou so much for your incredible kindness & banter, it was so appreciated!

Food was a bit poor, could do better.

It started well, as it had on all our previous visits. We ordered our drinks and food and they arrived promptly. But that was it, we had no more contact from our waitress after that. Nearby tables had their salad bowls removed, we did not. When we had finished our main course we wanted to order another drink and the deserts, but our waitress was not seen. After a while the waitress attended a nearby table that arrived after us and removed their plates and used a card machine at the table for them to settle their bill, and then found time to have a chat with them before disappearing again. By this time we were fed up sitting at a table full of dirty crockery and glasses and wanted to leave. We got the attention of the male who welcomed people on arrival and asked for our bill. A few minutes later our waitress plonked the bill on our table as she walked past. We took it to the desk, settled it left.

Dined here tonight and had the most awful experience. Food quality was sub-standard, portions were unacceptable and presentation was totally off putting. Cost-cutting on another level - considering the prices! The upkeep of the sald bar was atrocious and general cleanliness was despicable, including cobwebs very near to where we were sat - totally disappointed by our experience here. Although once the manager on duty was notified, he did listen to us and apologised - he alsobtold us thatvitvwas escalated Although another waitress did not fail to interrupt and say that it was nearly 9pm and that they do not replenish the salad bar after 8pm... so why is there an option to book a table after 8pm??? I'm a customer, I deserve the same as any customer that dines before 8pm. Nevertheless, it should be kept clean and made to look presentable and appetising. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Went for a meal while visiting family on a Wednesday evening didn't need to wait long for the table even though we hadn't booked and was seated in a nice little area. Really attentive service especially by our host Samantha who went to great lengths to make sure everything was OK for our allergy guest. Great credit to the kitchen as well. Wed 28th Aug 24.

48th wedding anniversary went to Honeypot super!staff really welcoming service, food,atmosphere, price all very good only needs a refurb looking tired,great guy looked after us oops didn't get his name but he's a real asset!!!!

Not our usual Harvester but a very pleasant change. We were greeted by a lovely waitress, who effectively took our order. Food and drinks were served promptly.

Descent quality & value for money 🤝

My fiance and myself just had the best meal of our lives this evening . I had pork belly,mash,and ratatouille,he had steak,🥩cooked to perfection 👍. I have never tasted pork so tender ,and he said his steak was the best he had ever had. We then had had ice cream 🍨 for dessert,and it definitely topped off the evening. And not only that,the lady who served us,was an absolute gem,she was friendly, bubbly,and chatty,(though didn't get her name) All in all ,the food was Amazing,very quick service,suffice to say,we are definitely going again👍👍☺️

The food and service as always was fantastic, but you really need to offer a child free area. I know you advertise as a family restaurant, but I am ready to commit murder with all those crying and screeching little kids. It is such a large venue it really shouldn't be so difficult to separate the rug rats and have a quite area for adults to enjoy your food.

Great pub but was little cramped how tables placed so I've marked it down. Also if you in hurry perfect pub but if not as we wasn't feal little rushed

An amazing experience at Harvester, Toni was my server and she was so friendly, she couldn’t do more for us, nothing was an issue for her. A great experience from start to finish!

Breakfast, dad and 2 teenagers. One Ultimate English Breakfast for £10, some pancakes with bacon and maple, and a bacon roll. Everyone very happy, English breakfast was huge and very good although scrambled eggs were a bit lack luster in comparison. Overall high quality, would definitely visit again.

Without wanting to damn with faint praise, it's a Harvester, you know what to expect! I did want to flag up a good night I had recently however. We had the good fortune to be waited on by Billy, one of the most pleasant and obliging servers I've ever encountered. It made a nice night out into an exceptional one - so kudos to Billy! Oh, and the food has come on in leaps and bounds - I'm old enough to have become jaded and started viewing Harvester as 'oh, go on then - I like the salad cart...' The latest menu has the genius invention of Bird, Surf and Turf - a happy union of Cajun chicken, Prawns and Steak - blooming lovely! Be back soon...
