Kingswood Kebab & Cafe in Basildon

Not only was I missing an entire meal , the chicken donnor was abysmal and we will never be ordering from here again . Shocking .

Nice kebab shop but the prices of the food has gone up over the last couple of years . Can’t afford to eat here anymore such a shame. I have found alternative kebabs with better prices and deals in the same area

This dump of a kebab shop is hands down the worst place I've ever eaten at. As soon as I walked in, I was hit by a nauseating stench that made my stomach churn. The floors were filthy, the tables were sticky, and there were flies buzzing around everywhere. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The staff couldn't have been more uninterested if they tried. They were rude, slow, and seemed downright annoyed that customers had the audacity to show up. One of them was scratching his head and then touching the food without washing his hands. Disgusting. Now, the food—or whatever they want to call it—was an absolute joke. The kebab meat was so dry and tough, it was like trying to chew on a piece of old shoe leather. It had zero flavor, which might have been a blessing considering the state of everything else. The veggies were wilted and brown, and the sauces were just sad, watery messes with no taste whatsoever. The pita bread was stale and fell apart in my hands. And let's talk about the prices—daylight robbery for the tiny portions they serve. I left feeling both ripped off and still hungry. Honestly, I've had better food from a vending machine. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. It's a complete waste of time and money. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. This so-called kebab shop is an absolute disgrace. Avoid it like the plague!

Highly recommended. 1st time tonight that I have eaten from here and I must say that my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. We both ordered a large kebab and chips to share. The pitta bread was cooked properly on the grill, almost charred and crispy in places which gave great texture. The meat is flavoursome and the salad was extremely fresh and lovely presented, we ask for our sauce and salad to be separate which was accomodated and the fries were crispy. Delivery was very prompt. All that I mentioned are the basics of a enjoyable kebab yet so many places in Basildon fail to achieve. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

Burgers are cheap and chips always seem soggy. Diner meat is ok but nothing special

In comparison to other nearby Turkish restaurants, their foods taste really good. The portion is adequate. A warm and cozy place. I would suggest the business to arrange a TV for watching sports.

I would never in my entire life, recommend you order via delivery from this place. The app made a typo and added in the next door address other than mine, as I was dog sitting at this time. I did leave my phone number, and driver called. I apologised, and said thank you. However he had to make a scene at neighbours house and spoke to me in a very unpolite tone. The way he handed me my food, was very irritating and lacked good customer service. Disgusting customer service. What a big shame!!!! Fix your delivery drivers, and just to be precise I ordered from Just Eat, horrible man delivered my food with so much attitude.

This place came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The best kebab I've ever had and the garlic mushrooms are a must with your meal! 10/10

Chips not cooked when called up to to say something like next time money off err no . I said get my cooked chips round to me now I'm 2 minutes away bit of a joke having to wait 20 minutes for a 2 minutes drive

I had a kebab delivered & it was stone cold as was the chips. I ordered pots of chilli sauce & it was dumped on the kebab. It's not the 1st time its turned up cold. Will not be ordering from you again!!!

Dinner was good. Paid £9.80 for large mixed kebab, chips and drink but kebab was normal, no extra meat

Had to visit Basildon around dinner time so researched the best kebab in town. Lived up to the hype - lovely grub indeed.

Good food , tasty chicken and clean shop .

I use this as an easy option drive through to home ,normally no problems but tonight after getting home my normal order of kebab with seperate salad and chilli sauce was left short of no chilli sauce !!! On calling the shop to let them know this they suggested i check my order before leaving the shop !!! Fxxxxxxg cheek shouldnt they check and make sure what i ordered is correct !! Customer service very poor !!

Really enjoy going here. It is nice and clean inside. The food is always very fresh and made from good quality produce. Service is very quick. Just a lovely place to go and sit down for a quick cuppa and toastie.
