ZAIKA INDIAN TAKEAWAY in Basildon

Was nearly an hour late and the driver didn’t seem fussed by that. It wasn’t very hot but the food itself was delicious.

The staff is good and customer friendly. This is takeaway only. The food was good, I ordered paneer, but that was in coconut 🥥 gravy, which I didn't like, so check that before ordering as coconut gravy was sweet which was not that good. I would recommend Daal and stuffed paratha as that was super. Gralic and cheese nan was also good. They were really quick in preparing orders.

I have ordered samosa, paneer tikka, green chutney and cold drink. The owner is good as i mistakenly ordered chicken and called to send something vegetarian and they changed it. This is really appreciated. The samosa was delicious. The salad was also good. The paneer tikka was bit dry. Try to add more flavours in that. Overall it was good. Must try place for people who are looking for the Indian cuisine.

Be careful of the online order service, we ordered online and when we got there nothing was on their system so best to call. The food however was excellent, nice and hot, tasty, not oily or heavy. They were very apologetic about the order issue and sorted our order out very quickly so don't be put off. Nice atmosphere for waiting, plenty of seating. Easily the best Indian we have tried in Basildon (and our closest). Prices also very good and we got £5 discount. Thanks guys!

Ordered a takeaway from here as we have many times before. Unfortunately this time chicken korma was bland and chicken tough. Rest of order not much better, way under the usual standard we have had in the past.

I was ordered my food in Uber Eats , but unfortunately I am not received which I ordered the item . But some reason Uber refuse to pay refund . I spoke to the owner of the restaurant , he is so kind and listen my conversation and he promised me he will refund the money but I request same item. As he promised he delivered the food . It’s very few people they follow the word . I forget is name . But your believe and trustworthy , make you grow one more level . I recommend this place definitely you will enjoy the food and good customer satisfaction.

Food is great and tastes amazing, customer service is great too and the team in the kitchen always seem to be having a good time and are working as a team, very nice people and quick to get the food, I order and collect in maybe 20-30 minutes, been here a few times and is definitely a go to Indian takeaway for me 👍🏼👍🏼 keep up the good work

Excellent food is so fresh and full of spices, got my teenage son eating it now. We are working our way through the menu. Nothing has disappointed us all of a high standard.

Waited 2 hours on a Friday, other places will be a lot quicker and same prices look About elsewere because this is the 4th time it’s happened to us and we won’t be using this restaurant again

Freshly cooked authentic Indian, never fails on taste or quality. Wonderful staff who are very knowledgeable about their ingredients and menu. Must try the chicken tikka biryani one of my favourites. We order almost every weekend! Must try them out 👍🏽👍🏽

Without doubt the worst takeaway i have ever had the misfortune to order, i had a madras which i kid you not was just tomato sauce with tons of chilli powder and salt mixed in completely unedable. The onion bajis were shop bought rubbish, just avoid the worst.

It’s literally the BEST Indian takeaway in Basildon. I’ve been ordering from them for a while now, and their food never disappoints. I am vegetarian and they always ensure to accommodate my requests.

Changed our Indian to hear after terrible experiences elsewhere. Not has a bad one in the last 6 months.

I ve just had the best chicken biryani ever. They are doing big portion and also with a lot of meat not only rice. One portion can easily feed 2 people. It was delicious and I recommend this restaurant for whoever want to feel the taste of India. 💯💯💯💯💯💥💥💥💥💥👌

Ordered some naan breads, poppadoms and chutneys on a Sunday evening. Delivery took over an hour, even though they are a 4 minute drive from us. Safe to say naan breads were cold. Oh and rang them half hour before order arrived, they said it had left 5 mins ago, so apparently my food was out and about for over half hour.

Best curry we have had in a long while, what a gem, highly recommend , tasty , spicy, and piping hot…..

Really great food ordered several times,can't fault the place 🙂
