My son treated my wife and I to a meal for my 65th birthday and I have to say the food and service were both excellent. Even though it was a Wednesday evening the restaurant was very busy. . ...

I went there as part of a corporate dinner event. The scallops for starters were excellent. Beef Willington was amazing, the portion was good and the pastry covering the whole beef steak was a nice touch and is different from the cuts I have had before. Service was excellent, but the place is small. Only thing was parking, which we found difficult to get, so we had to park in grand arcade and walk down to the shop.

Nous sommes allés à ce restaurant le 12 avril à midi. Nous avons pris trois menus. À 35,50 livres nous avions une entrée un plat principal et un dessert. Mon épouse a pris comme entrée une terrine de macro fumée avec toast ma fille, un soufflé au fromage et moi, une terrine de foie de volaille avec toast. L’entrée de mon épouse et moi-même était copieux, mais malheureusement nous avons eu droit qu’à une seule tranche de pain grillé, je trouve par rapport à la portion des entrées, ils auraient pu mettre deux tranches de pain grillées. Nous avons demandé à la serveuse si on pouvait en avoir un peu plus de pain grillées, elle nous a dit normalement, on n’en donne qu’une tranche, je trouve ça lamentable mais à part ça tout était bon il y a aussi le serveur qui a pris la commande mais qu’il nous a pas demandé si on voulait du vin

Great pizza, but not impressed that this restaurant has no toilet. Not acceptable

Out favourite Thai restaurant. Very relaxing atmosphere, staff very attentive and the food is so fresh tasting. Very nice Thai restaurant.

What can I say, this outstanding restaurant never fails to impress us. Thanks again for a fantastic evening

Excellent Haddock and Chips takeaway. My new favourite fish and chip shop.

Ordered takeaway and there was a stone like object in the cream sauce which broke my 2 teeth. Manager said he will help cover the cost so I got them fixed but he seems to be avoiding now. Think twice before you eat from this restaurant.

Over priced if I'm honest so wouldn't order again but what we did have was okay.

A celebration birthday dinner for my wife. The whole experience from the cordial and enthusiastic greeting on a cold March night right throughout the entire dinner was of high quality and as some reviews indicate one that you expect at Michelin starred establishments. The menu was well balanced with a leaning on classic French dishes all with little modern twists. A three course set menu, but with plenty of choices. The wine list was extensive without being encyclopaedic in its size! It gave all diners the opportunity to find something just right for their palate. As booked on line some weeks ago I’d forgotten that I had mentioned to the restaurant that it was my wife’s birthday, but they hadn’t. A nice touch. Service was excellent, not overbearing but attentive at exactly the right times. A really excellent evening and will certainly be visiting again.
