Excellent all round experience. Busy restaurant even early on a Saturday night

The lady named "go" as she said has a very bad attitude. Not smiling at all. What an attitude. Terrible service. She even asked us to handover the plates and glasses on the table for her. Worst scenario is she asked us to leave at about 10 pm as they're to be closed by 10.30 pm. This is the first restaurant a member of staff said something like this. She's normally at the bar in the front. She was able to destroy our whole mood. Terrible hospitality. On the reviews many have complained about this lady.

Absolutely wonderful! The George is the perfect place to experience Afternoon Tea. Beautifully furnished, decorated, warm and welcoming. The staff were wonderful and the food delicious and fresh. Cannot recommend this experience enough.

Sadly this place is no longer the drinker friendly no kids pub it once was. They have employed kids entertainment and put the beer price through the roof(about the most expensive place I tried in mablethorpe) For the discerning boozer your better off in the club in town. Seems that blue anchor has taken over so that explains the new money grabbing kids policy and bankruptcy prices. Just out the top of the road you can see dreams or even better is the Victoria guest house down high street.just done me £5.80 for a pint.grim poo pub

Smashing and surprisingly large Derby Brewing Company venture. Craft ales, real ales and a good range of other drinks on offer. Bar snacks available, sausage rolls and pork pies etc. Definitely returning. M

Special Chow mein & Chicken chow mein not very hot, like warm at best

Excellent food, quality and taste.

We booked a table,just in case, no steps so wheelchair friendly. We were showed to our table by a lovely lady who got us the menus. So much choice but i had a egg omelette with salad. So tasty and filling but then i was naughty and had lemon meringue pie with cream. The portion size was massive and so as i am diabetic i had to leave my meringue bit to my own heartbreak. Fully recommend- beautiful plac3, friendly staff and fabulous food

Lovely traditional pub, great pint of pedigree, nice and busy on Sunday lunch, we were on a canal barge trip so unlikely to be around here again, but would strongly recommend going here, nice staff and locals

Food was great, service was good. Plenty of seating to eat at or wait for food.
