We phoned ahead and let the restaurant know about a food allergy and they were more than happy to accommodate, so thank you to the chef for taking extra care in preparing our food. The food was some of the best we've had and we will definitely be ordering again.

The lady named "go" as she said has a very bad attitude. Not smiling at all. What an attitude. Terrible service. She even asked us to handover the plates and glasses on the table for her. Worst scenario is she asked us to leave at about 10 pm as they're to be closed by 10.30 pm. This is the first restaurant a member of staff said something like this. She's normally at the bar in the front. She was able to destroy our whole mood. Terrible hospitality. On the reviews many have complained about this lady.

Mount Gurkha is always first class. Tonight it was better than ever. Had Lamb Choila, Baje ko sekwa and Chicken Makhani. The starters are HUGE! Got my breakfast sorted!

Called in for a sit down meal a few weeks ago in the restaurant which was very good, this prompted us to order a takeaway which I have to say was appalling. Nothing at all like the same dish ordered in the restaurant (Chicken Himalayan), the sauce was watery and tasteless, couldn't taste nuts at all, the salad we were given was absolutely nothing like the salad we had in the restaurant - why? We ordered a belly pork dish and the meat was so tough! Belly pork is meant to be slow cooked, this was like rubber!! 😳 we didn't order poppadoms or pickles but they added them in the bag which would have been a nice gesture had they been fresh instead of stale like cardboard. We definitely won't be back. Very disappointed with the food.

I've been lots of times and it's always been good, I recommend it to others too, today I went for my birthday meal with my 2 young daughters and my friend , and the lady that took our order and brought the food was very abrupt, didn't smile once,she wasn't welcoming and made us feel uncomfortable, she took my friends plate before she had finished, my friend asked if she could take her food home and she wasn't feeling well and in most restaurants they take it away and wrap it up for you, but that wasn't the case, she was given trays n bags to put her food in, we was gonna get the birthday cake out n candles but decided against it as we were left feeling deflated.

Got in ordered meal for 2 supposed to advice on menu a buffet al you can eat on a Sunday we ordered starters that came out wrong ordered drinks that came out wrong got bill for 2 came out at 52 pound were it states on a Sunday 14 95 per adult cost us 52 pound for 4 people a few weeks back so why costing this for 2 waiter confirmed the eat all buffet is for summer only so should be on a different menu

From booking a table on the phone the lady was very blunt and unfriendly. A bit off putting, but we thought she was probably busy. On turning up at the venue the unfriendliness unfortunately continued as we were ignored quite a while at the bar. We sat down and could barely get our knees under the table as the chairs are too high, not comfortable. On ordering we weren't allowed to change from ordinary rice to a flavoured rice as this was not specified on the menu? Food was very bland with pretty small portions. No one came to ask how it was. We were quite glad to leave to be honest and won't be going back. No one acknowledged us on way out or say goodbye.

First time ordering and was very pleased. We had 8 different meals between our family and everyone was pleased with their’s. Good sized portions too.

Been on a few occasions now and thoroughly enjoyed every time. Food is very tasty and staff are very friendly. Good pricing too, would 100% recommend!

We had a takeaway, brilliant food full of flavour.

Excellent service and the food was delicious. We enjoyed a birthday meal on Thursday evening which was quiet so we had plenty of time to enjoy a range of foods from mild to spicy so it suited all tastes. We are planning a return visit soon

Ordered a takeaway at5.30pm and was told that it would be at my house at 8.30pm which was ok, however it didn't turn up,after ringing several times we were told that my order had been delivered to the wrong house and they would remake it and send it out.We did eventually receive the order at 10.30pm but it was cold.So all in all probabily the worst experience I've ever had.

Waited over an hour and chips were a soggy barely warm mess. The madras was barely warm and had to be microwaved immediately after delivery. What a shame as you’re so local but we won’t be ordering again.

We just visited for a family New Years Eve meal - our meal was absolutely beautiful but we felt rushed and were asked to leave our table after about an hour which would have been fine had there been a table in the bar to finish our drinks in but there wasn’t. So, a beautiful meal but not a good experience overall. Will not revisit next New Years Eve.

Chose a time! Spot on. First Indian children have tasted, we rate the popadoms n dips!!! Gorgeous.chips were usual rubber tasting due to sweat but not as shown in restaurant pics on other map reviews.The naans are so glorious, downside though was grilled chicken and chicken nuggets was pink which was a real shame, but ordering curry, came in a huge tub which they loved dipping in with great flavours. Complimentary tub of salad was nice to see. 4 star for effort. Delivery kid was pleasant

The curry was too hot and had no other flavour apart from the heat. I had requested that they made it mild. I am sad to say, it is the worst curry I have ever had.

This place takes some beating, great tasting food, great service and excellent prices. Hats off to all the staff, don't change a thing you've got a winning formula in place.

A group of us went there Sunday dinner time and food was delicious, I’ve tried Napalese dishes starter and main and they were both really tasty and naan bread was lovely as well. We will definitely be returning soon

Service here is great didn’t have to wait too long to be seated or for the food to come out. Curries really tasty and starters were really good. Really enjoyed the chicken mo mo. Only thing that let it down was the music in the restaurant was so loud that people weren’t talking they were shouting to be heard over it. It was that loud it made our ears hurt. With a packed restaurant, loud music and people shouting it was too much. Shame really as everything else was really good.

Me and my famliy had one of worse meals ive had food had to go back other people was not happy with the wait times and leaving with out having a full meal and one off my famliy is now ill because off the food do not go here

Phoned for takeaway, the lady was very rude when explaining my situation. I'm in a lorry wanting food, so ask if she'll deliver to the layby up the road. Adamant she needs an address, so I look for the nearest place to give a postcode and she starts, if it gose missing this is your fault... why would it go missing when I'm just down the road?? Needless to say I didn't and wouldn't order from here.

Incredible!! Without a doubt the best curry in the area. The driver was very polite and the food was the best ive had from a take away locally. As someone that has tried alot of local places this one is highly recommend!!

This set up really worked well. It is sad to see so many old traditional pubs close down but this one appeared to be thriving. We enjoyed our food and the Surroundings we visited 2 days ago the experience was just the same and deserves all the same ratings that we gave before.

Lovely food as always, but didn’t take note of delivery time so brought the food half an hour early, which wouldn’t normally be an issue except the person who this was for wasn’t even home from work.

Did not get what I ordered, only just warm. Didn't want to spoil our anniversary by complaining so let it go but definitely would not recommend.

Gave another try after a previous bad experience 6 months ago. Bad experience when ordering over the phone. Felt like it was too much trouble to ask for an address. Prices have increased, and we paid delivery fee on a £70+ order. The rude young delivery driver then complained to me that because I’ve not tipped him they don’t get paid until the end of the week. Food was then average. This place has seriously gone down hill - we used to love it and have ordered many times.

We have struggled to find a decent curry in the area so finding Mount Ghurka Village was a culinary godsend. Large selection of curries and thankfully a good array of choice for the vegetarians. Really good naans - good size, texture and flavour - and good choice of starters and accompaniments all of which were flavoursome. Curries have all been delicious, but word of warning for the faint-hearted, all the curries I've had have been HOT. Is this a Nepalese thing? Either way, expect spice. Although curries are spicy, this does not take away the flavour - they're not hot for the sake of it and you can still distinguish between dishes and pick out a rich and varied array of flavours. Ordered many times and will continue to do so as long as they keep up the excellent standards we've experienced so far.

Good curry house.. have had the odd curry from here that has much to oil floating on the top which is off putting. That said the flavour of the dishes are really good.

Ordered takeaway, been therebefore service food was excellent, most of the food delivered was good,althoughthe samosa was different nowhere near as good as last time,neither was the nan,different chef? Not sure,but overall very good
