Food was freshly cooked to order so was still piping hot when I got it home and the portion size was more than adequate staff very friendly and welcoming

Wonderful freshly cooked fish & chips. Cod in a light, crispy batter with really good chips too. And for once, my mushy peas were actually pea coloured, not that bright, metal green artificial colour that so many other chippy’s sell. 10/10 UPDATE 28/June 2024 What a difference! I returned last month and the fish chips and mushy peas were all totally inedible! The worst I’ve ever had in my entire life. I binned the lot and will never return 0/10

I'm shocked by the good reviews for this place. Place was deserted when I got there and no other customers arrived whilst I waited for my order, I should have taken the hint. What materialised was the worst fish and chips I've had in the area. The fish was a square fillet too which was quite off-putting. Nice guy that runs the place, but the food was beyond disappointing. Hate to give such a negative review but want to save someone else the disappointment.
