The Tavern in East Lindsey

Sadly this place is no longer the drinker friendly no kids pub it once was. They have employed kids entertainment and put the beer price through the roof(about the most expensive place I tried in mablethorpe) For the discerning boozer your better off in the club in town. Seems that blue anchor has taken over so that explains the new money grabbing kids policy and bankruptcy prices. Just out the top of the road you can see dreams or even better is the Victoria guest house down high street.just done me £5.80 for a pint.grim poo pub

This is 2nd year we have come to this site and we love it. The staff are friendly and the club is nice and relaxed with a great atmosphere. This is definately my new faveourite place. We used to go to golden sands but now prefer this. They also put on entertainment on weekends really enjoyed it

Lovely family pub but unfortunately play far too much bingo throughout the whole night. Never told what times kids club etc will start. Sunday lunch no longer cooked on site. Menu used to be wonderful but the basket meals are disgusting. Soggy chips, over cooker burgers and dry scampi with wooden knives and forks. Bingo needs to be at a set time ie 6-7 so people know not to bring children during that time. Too scared to breath during bingo incase we make a sound

Fantastic service, superb atmosphere, great entertainment for kids and adults.

Wasn't staying here, took the grandkids for the mini disco, they loved it 💙

Very welcoming and pleasant to sit and have a drink. The food menu was pretty much limited to burgers and chips. The salad which came with just one of our three meals was a pile of limp lettuce leaves, nothing else. Would not eat there again.

Nice place to sit outside when the weather is nice, expensive though, 12.70 for a wine and larger, just seems expensive for the area

A ok place good prices when game are on but a bit expensive when not

This used to be an amazing bar before it was taken over by Blue Anchor. It is now so expensive compared to other pubs in Mablethorpe, I paid £8.20 for a gin and tonic. This would be OK if we were a city but this is Mablethorpe.

Need more things for children after children entertainment finished they are strict with children playing we thought this is not acceptable in the tavern the staff moned about children playing inside the site is very good place and the tavern pub say no mobility scooter aloud

bit pricey, club Friday night turn was really good, unfortunately Saturday nights entertainment was a no show but they managed to keep us entertained by music bingo, came back 10 months later I was shocked, pint of Doom Bar £5.10, vodka diet coke (bottle not draught) and a pint of Doom Bar £12.40, pint of Doom Bar and a vodka £9.90 (mrs used the bottle of diet coke from the first round) it used to be quite a cheap little bar, been coming 7 years going into town for the first time, not sure if you can go into the other sites clubs?

Probably the weirdest pub I've ever been in in my life. The landlord seems to have a split personality and it's quite clear that any people who aren't regulars are not welcomed. It's also apparent as a sober bystander that the games are rigged to favor family members and friends of the landlord. The food is alright but I couldn't spend another penny in this place due to the dishonesty and wierdness of the landlord.

We were on a two night stay and ate here both nights as it was so good. Very generous portions and very reasonable prices. Very pleasant staff.

Felt very welcome and a great atmosphere. The food was very good and the cook was polite and asked if I enjoyed my food as did the manager. Great entertainment for the kids and mums and dads joined in. Reasonably priced

Absolutely love it here, been 2 years in a row , the tavern for food and entertainment is brilliant , highly recommend spending time in towervans n the tavern.

Expensive. To be fair I don't rate it at all now. Got their on the Monday only to find out after we unpacked that no food was on. I was willing to walk away there and then. My partner said no let's have a drink only to find out that it was over £8.00 just for 2 drinks. 1 pint of bitter and a J2O . We decided to vote with our feet never to return. We found a cheaper alternative down the road. We have been loads but we refuse to be ripped off. Avoid at all costs.

We entered into the tavern, and it was spotless. The staff are very polite. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. The prices are on a par with most places. Would definitely be recommending.

Popped in to enquire about a future entertainment night they have coming up, coffee was very nice & hot.

Lovely place full of families and old folk alike enjoying their time together. Food available, beers, wine's and limited spirits at very reasonable prices. Well worth the 5*.

Bank holiday monday , excellent meal good value and the chef took the trouble to come and speak to us and ask how we enjoyed the meal , well recommended

Came in tonite,was full but tim found us a table,always made to feel welcome n great nites,staff amazing n cant wait for our Sunday lunch tomorrow, highly recommended for a great nite x

Went for a quiet beer unfortunately I had a fowl mouthed old arse at the next table,every second word was f--k just left rather than give him a mouthful, no discredit to the the tavern staff who would be unaware,dog friendly only outside.returned on a Sunday to find they stop doing meals at 5 pm !!!!,went back on a week day and had a cheese burger and fries,was very good, would recommend, notice it's open till 12pm.returned and had scampi and chips, was excellent and another huge portion.

Not dog friendly!! - please make a note if taking a trip to the pub - possible to sit outside and endure the English summer

What an amazing refurb the Tavern has had. The manager Tim and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming.We had a lovely steak and service was again excellent.Fantastic Entertainment and i have to mention Zac from the kids club hes so funny and brilliant with all the kids.Carnt wait for our next visit.Hope you feel better soon Tim.Lesley, Andrew and Scarlett😎

Just visited the newly refurbished Tower Tavern, the new decor and Layout is absolutely stunning, decided to eat while here, the food was fabulous and huge portions, served by such friendly staff. Fantastic change around.

Amazing night out, great atmosphere and staff are brilliant. Food is delicious and a very good price. They have entertainment and cash bingo. Alcoholic slush and the cocktails are a must, go down a little too easy :)

Ordered a meal which when it finally arrived was the wrong order, waiter advised that it must be right as "it was on the ticket" although no-one had spoken to us about the food we ordered no longer being available. A member of the bar staff came over and said that he spoken to a different table and then changed our order! Got a refund ( not including any further compensatuon for the drinks we ordered! ) and then as we left, the food we were advised was no longer available was served to another table that had ordered after us. If I could, i would give them 0 stars as my children were left hungry and we had to go elsewhere!

Great caravan park and lovely reception at the club am looking forward to the upcoming development of the new clubroom and the fact food will be available soon adds onto the excitement.

Great place, really friendly staff and the landlord and landlady Tim and Sharon were very professional and helpful, good covid safety system in place, we were made to feel very much at ease, will definitely be coming back!

Kids are now allowed in the pub all time as long as they are accompanied by an adult at all times . You now have bingo every Wednesday friday Saturday Sunday night. Great new management and great staff .

Now Tim n sharon are in charge watch this place fly.

Went to view a caravan they have advertised on there website. When we got there it was not the same caravan as shown on there website. It was disgusting, filthy,, seating all pulled, toilet floor all spongy, single bed missing, part of roof light missing, table damaged, all carpets filthy and damaged parts of kitchen damaged. Now the one they are advertising was lovely and clean in great condition lino floors all way through (not carpet) this is false advertising to say the least was very disappointed will not be going there again cost us £70 petrol money to get there to see a totally different caravan to the one that's was advertised all I can say is keep well clear of this site. (Buyers beware).

Need to cater more for kids. The kids room has a telly with sports on. A fruit machine, a grabber machine and a plastic toy machine. The huge conservatory could have a disco in there and the doors open at the back so they can access the park. Single parents can't get a drink from the bar as you can't leave your kids unsupervised in the kids room. Saying your a family site towervans you need to cater more for families.

Good site bar, only downside is couldn't take dogs inside after 6 pm during our visit, so if weather is poor you're a bit stuck.

Best place in Mablethorpe to visit and relax. Great entertainment landlords mick and Jennifer are the best of the best go out of there way to make you feel welcome and the Sunday lunch is to die for.

Been coming here since I was a kid and it's still a very good place even better now for kids but kid's still can't go in the main bar

A somewhat dated place, which does not detract from it's charm. Hospitable and attentive staff, everywhere clean. Small but well priced menu, food was average. Prices for drinks are beyond belief £2.40 pint of Carling is a good indicator.

Relatively quiet site (unless your close to the tavern but that's mostly weekend noise thankfully) nice walk into town, and short walk to the beach.

A brilliant little club compared to other site bars. Airy, no kids, good drinks at a good price, no kids, hot food is very good, no kids and the best part is kids have their own room.

My partner myself and our 2 dogs have been coming to Towervans caravan park at Mablethorpe for our annual summer holiday for the past 5 years .We have received warm and friendly service from the moment we check in until the moment we check out .Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here .We look forward to going there every year ,
