We walked past this restaurant and I thought I’d check out the reviews. Once I read them I couldn’t not eat from here! We are staying at the haven holiday site so we asked if we could arrange a delivery and it was no problem. The staff were very friendly and the food did not disappoint it was so delicious, the pizza, the pasta and the fries 😍 definitely recommend

Absolutely fantastic food best in whole area first class service.friendly delivery service would very highly recommend if want piping hot delicious pizzas and garlic bread.will be ordering again before we go home

We decided to pop in last minute last night Sunday 6th October completely empty but was a good experience of proper Italian music and Moretti beer served chilled ordered 2 large pepperoni pizzas which were cooked to perfection plenty of cheese and toppings not spicy at all just right with seasoniing came to £29 pounds which is fair as pizzas were huge will definitely go back this week as down for another week staff were friendly and helpful would recommend

We found this place a week ago while staying on the haven site. The food here was amazing and reasonably priced freshly made. We was able to get a table at short notice on a Saturday evening if we ever in the area would definitely stop by again

Went here with my lovely partner on a Tuesday night for dinner, and had rang to pre book. The first impression wasn't great as the girl on the front desk was on the phone and looked up but didn't smile at us or anything. Another girl came over and showed us to a table. My partner ordered a vegetarian pizza and I opted for the spaghetti napolitano, as I had this when we had visited Rome and it was lovely. The girl sorted our drinks while we waited which were very reasonably priced. There wasn't any music or ambience in the restaurant and there was an older lady wrapping the cutlery who I am assuming is the owner, who wasn't engaging with anyone, in fact she gave me quite a scowl, charming! The food arrived and what I received was definitely NOT spaghetti napolitano! It looked like 2 tins of low brand spaghetti had been slopped in the bowl! I wanted to take a photo but my partner wouldn't let me, if I had I would have put the comparison up on here with a photo of the real deal. Also, for some reason the "chef" had decided to put something in it that was so hot I could only eat a little bit of it. When the girl came over to ask if everything was ok I told her, so the "chef" came over to apologise and said he must have put too much pepper in!!?? Why he did this who knows. He offered to make me another bowl, but who would want more of something that was awful? I wish I had ordered the pizza because my partner really enjoyed that. This is definitely not an Italian restaurant, because they don't even know what the dishes are supposed to look like, as well as what they should taste like, and who would put that much pepper in a dish to make it so hot it is inedible.?! The house wine was nice and we gave a tip as the girl who looked after our table was great, but we won't be returning.

Just been for late tea,great,tasty food, friendly staff ,great chefs and a very chatty pot washer ! Can definitely recommend, and will most definitely be going back . 5 stars

Absolutely delicious lunchtime buffet. Extremely attentive service and freshly cooked tasty food. The garlic bread and coleslaw were particularly favourites. Very good value and will definitely return.

On holiday Booked a table had to cancel due to tired boys I ordered for delivery. The young lady on the telephone was so polite and the food. WOW!! OMG!! Pasta carbonara and garlic bread, wow! The food is hot delicious. Thank you so much to the staff there. If u want food and u like Italian food, this is the place. 😍😍😍

Food was good and piping hot and a good choice on the menu and drinks at reasonable prices staff friendly and helpful maybe a bit of background music may add to the atmosphere

Had a great meal here on a busy Saturday evening. Glad we booked as some were told it could be an hour wait! The food was great and the service was fab. It was great value for money. We highly recommend and will be going back!

The chef is really nice I asked him for a pizza with less cheese and when it was done he brought it to me and it was bigger than the pizza you would usually get from the buffet and it had more pepperoni

Vistied that palce in last 2 weeks 3 times. One of best Itallian Restaurant i visited. Food is brilliant and atmosphere very good. It is small so pre book table. One of not so many late open place in Mablethorpe.

We’ve been visiting Fantasia Restaurant for over 20 years and continue to have takeaways as well. We had a takeaway today with over 18 meals for a party and it was all delivered correctly, on time and red hot. I can’t empathise how good this place is. Well done and thank you.

The garlic bread was lovely. I had the mussels, de shelled frozen in a tomato sauce, no bread. Mains I had chicken diavalo, sauce was sour tasting with too much mustard, no peppers as noted on the menu, and penne as they only had penne or spaghetti no tagliatelle. Partner had spicy meatballs and spaghetti, the meatballs were done to death and I suspect they were microwaved. Complained quietly and they couldn’t care less. Get a takeout from Geraldos if I was you.

Great food , nice atmosphere, nice bottle of wine ....had a starter, mains & sweet at reasonable prices

Got a delivery came on time but as the delivery driver handed it over she sed that she tried to keep it upright. Both cartons of food where in the bottom of the bag not in the containers they did replace the mains but by then the pizza was stone cold. My chicken was not the best chicken I have had just stranded supermarket quality and they put far to much pepper in the sauce and onions far too many very disappointing for top end price.

Eat here a few times a year, always good food, friendly staff and ver reasonable priced.

First off, the guy serving us was lovely and very welcoming. The other positive is that the pizza seemed decent. But that's where the good points end, and an Italian restaurant this is not. It's a pizza takeaway with cafe style dining. My starter of 'BBQ chicken wings with a sticky BBQ sauce' consisted of 3 of the tiniest wings (the kind you'd get from a bargain bag of frozen wings) tossed in a fryer and served with a pot of BBQ sauce that was straight from a bottle of the cheap tasting and watery variety. For my main I ordered a veal marsala dish, though I had to specify I wanted pasta as it seems like chips are the standard accompaniment to everything. Despite being a 'speciality' menu item, it was nothing like a veal marsala. The meat was tough and chewy, and the sauce was essentially a cream with a ton of sugar added making it too sweet to be edible. I am truly baffled by the high rating this place has but considering the complete lack of options for anything in the area that isn't Fish & Chips, maybe people are just overjoyed to have that little bit of variety. And one final thing. The bitter inner part of a lettuce, some raw onion, a wedge of tomato and a slice of cucumber is not a 'salad'.

My first time eating here and will definitely be back! The steak was cooked beautifully and pepper sauce wasn't too rich, was just bang on!

Food was good lovely atmosphere and great service. Definitely eat there again. Situated in town so easy to find. Lovely traditional setting. Bit pricey but worth it.

Just been for a meal at this place. Early evening so was able to get a table no problem. All of the staff we dealt with were very attentive, polite and well presented. We had starter and a main meal and both were really lovely. Will definitely return either later in our break or on our next visit. Thanks for a lovely meal. 😀

Very friendly and welcoming from the moment we stepped inside. A considerable sized menu offers a wide range to suit all. I opted for the Pollo Cacciatore (Chicken in red wine, tomato, onion, mushrooms, peppers, olives and garlic. Which was very well cooked and absolutely delicious. Very reasonably priced and decent portion sizes. Two mains and two large soft drinks for under £30.

We’ve always had lovely gluten free pizzas from Fantasia. It’s so nice to be able to eat a g/f pizza that tastes like a normal one. The staff have always been very helpful and super friendly.

Beautiful fresh cooked food. Staff are always so helpful and accommodating. They will change toppings to suit your needs. Been several time whilst on holiday and I have never had a bad experience! I have had delivery and there isn't any difference in quality of food. Bonus!!

On the spur of the moment, we decided to go out for dinner. Went to the 'other' Italian first as we were walking past, but they couldn't fit us in. We have been to this restaurant a few times as well, so decided to give this a try. Very accommodating and seated us straight away, even though they were busy. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient, even though we could see she was extremely busy. Glass of wine each and we had garlic mushrooms, two different vegetarian pizzas and fries all very nice. Decent price for good food.

Visited Saturday evening, bright busy restaurant.. although lacked authentic food .. I had a king prawn starter which was nice but could of done with a little bread to soak up the sauce …. I think instead of chips with every main dish .. sauté potatoes would of been better and veg or salad .. it’s just a bit cafe like !! The tables could of done with a little vase and flower or even a candle to give it a romantic feel ..

Well what can I say, absolutely great food at a good price will definitely be returning.

Absolutely wonderful food! They seated us kindly just 20 minutes before closing time. Me and my partner ordered a lasagne, Spaghetti bolognaise and cheese and tomato garlic bread. The food was cooked perfectly! The bolognaise i had a rich and beefy taste. The portion size is on the bigger size too, so for us we found the pricing to be very reasonable.

Friendly welcome from the whole team. Front of house and chefs. Pleasant place to be. Young waitress was very polite and accomodating. You waiter very good. Both were excellent. Starter of antipasti very good including blue cheese which was very welcome. Main of spaghetti Bologneseb and fruits de mare, seafood spaghetti very good with prawns and mussels. Then the English apple and blackberry crumble with pouring cream excellent. Food all very good and Hot which can be such a let down in a lot of restaurants when the food has been allowed to cool before service. This place served hot food. Thank you to all. On Thursday 7th for our food. Decent wine and good prices.

We thought we'd try something different, than our usual haunts, when visiting family. The food we ordered, we all recognized but when we tasted it, boy oh boy, out of this world. The flavours infused so well on our pallets. After dinner, something sweet? Oh yes! Again, no disappointment, just tangs of flavour and just enough for our tummies. Brilliant find and we WILL be back, next time, for the buffet in the day. Guys, your restaurant is amazing and so are you all. Maybe, just a weeny suggestion for the evenings, candles in bottles for the tables and maybe some background Italian folk music. See you all, next year. Shall I book now? All the best.

One of the best stakes I've ever had.

Ordered a takeaway last night, being a valdastana, 12" pizza and chips and at the end of my order i asked the waitress to price it up for me at which point she told me £23 and to collect in 20minutes. My partner arrived 20minutes later at the the restaurant to collect the food. He said 3 waitressess were there, 1 on her phone, another polishing cutlery and the 3rd he said just stood around after waiting 10minutes to pay he spoke to the chef and asked for the food and the food was grabbed off the top of the oven (i appreciate they were trying to keep it warm while the waitressess worked out what was going on) then my partner had to ask the waitress to pay because she was still on her phone. We live in sutton so its a 10minute drive to get to the restaurant but they said they had no delivery drivers that night so thought we would just collect. When my partner returned home with the food the food was stone cold, to the point it felt like it hadnt even been reheated/cooked by the restaurant. I wouldnt normally complain about this but upon looking at the reciept i noticed we had been over charged. I added up the meal on there takeaway menu and had been overcharged £6.19 so i called up. The waitress was swearing on the phone and i had the owner who i could hear telling her he was too busy and to hang up on me. I said to the waitress not to panic and that i know someone who works there so they can just pass him what i was overcharged for and said funnily and he can round it up considering the food was exstremely cold. The waitress said she would try short it so my friend could get my refund to give back to me but she wasnt sure if it would be sorted due to the owner not wanting to deal with it right now as he was too busy. I woke up this morning to see i was refunded part of what i was overcharged for. Will not be ordering again. Very unpleasant service, swearing down the phone too and im sure the owner wont care regardless considering he couldnt be bothered to deal with such a simple situation.

First time visitors today and will definitely be back. Had the "All You Can Eat Buffet" so it was great value for money. Mentioned in passing to the staff about a weird pizza combo i like and they willingly made it up for the buffet. Well impressed with everything about the dining experience. A little gem in Mablethorpe that deserves the support from both visitors and locals.

After looking for places to eat while here on holiday found this place and what can I say it was brilliant lovely friendly staff food service was excellent food was excellent hig recommend

After smelling the wonderful garlic filling the high street during the afternoon buffet we decided we had to give this place a try . Upon arrival I will admit I underestimated the place . Young chef ( again underestimated) myself and my partner were pleasantly surprised. Very welcoming and personable staff . The salmon & prawn penne special tickled my fancy but being very particular about taste and texture in sauces I decided to approach the chef directly to ask to sample the sauce before deciding on the dish . This was no problem 😃 surprised to see the sauce being cooked from scratch the chef personally brought the sauce to our table and after giving my own personal feedback and opinion ( was delicious ) the chef totally accommodated my requests and my dish was prepared ( without any fuss ) as a small starter portion sauce perfectly adapted less wine & extra cream & garlic ( for me ) . We decided on the steak and mixed grill as our mains and as stated by the chef all meats are locally sourced and this was noticeable in the taste . I really wish these guys all the best and if we ever return to MableThorpe we’ll be sure to pay u guys a visit , could be lunch & dinner next time ! Good job fantasia 🫶🏻

Food was immaculate and the atmosphere was very tidy and clean service was amazing always checked up on us asked how our food was this is why I left a tip of £1.50 if your wanting to find a food restaurant that is outstanding this is the place for you.

This is an unassuming place from the outside that offers lunchtime buffet style pasta and pizza. We came for the evening. In the evening a more extensive menu of Italian classics is available and they are very well done. Food is tasty, hot and well served. Of course this is not Napoli or the back streets of Rome but it is one of the best places to eat here. Pizza and pasta always good, pollo dishes great, veal was good. Nice selection of starters - a solid minestrone, good antipasti and so on. Family of 5 well satisfied. Staff friendly.

Had the new lunch time buffet. Amazing value for money. The food was fresh and tasty. Great value. It was also fairly busy and the staff did a great job dealing with this. I look forward to trying the evening menu too.

Booked a table here for our evening meal. Im gluten intolerant so rang the restaurant beforehand to check they offer GF dishes. They did.. The gluten free pizza & pasta was delicious, quick service & great prices too. Would definitely return.

Nice food, especially the specials board stuff. The meal was really nice, cooked fresh but the service was somewhat slow. Not enough staff to service the amount of customers. When I asked for the bill I ended up going up to the till to pay in person.

Ordered a chicken Kiev with lemon which we did not get- it was plain chicken In breadcrumbs- chef said he had put garlic on it and clearly this is not Kiev nor could we taste the garlic. Oven chips. Fillet steak was nice but overcooked and I suspect it wasn’t fillet. The ladies serving were very pleasant but I am unsure they had the authority to to do anything. Will probably return for a pizza as they looked ok.

Such a great restaurant and the staff are so accommodating. It was the one of the best spaghetti dishes I have ever had.

The food was way too salty and the sauces were tasteless. I admit the portions were fantastic but no good if you can't eat most of it.

Pizzas tasted great. The medium-sized was plenty. Pasta were large servings, but all went from the 11 and 12 year olds. Friendly and relaxed service, and as we were a group of 16, this was much appreciated.

What a lovely little restaurant, in the small town of Mablethorpe. We ate here on a Saturday night and was lucky to get in, due to booking earlier that day. The staff were really nice, maybe a little slow asking if we wanted drinks but that was probably because they were busy, The food menu was really great but maybe not the best for teens, so my daughter had an adults meal. However she did eat most of the Gammon and really enjoyed it. I had the Salmon and it was delicious 😋 . My partner had the Mixed Grill from the special’s board and for the price of it it was really good value, not expensive and he really enjoyed it. Overall a lovely restaurant and definitely somewhere we will visit again. Thank you

Came here in a family of 13 last minute. Happily accommodated us and have amazing service. Food was lovely and flavourful. Deserts were amazing.

First time with friends and family who had come for a visit. We had previously booked and on arrival we were crammed onto a table (no.6), given menus and then ignored for 25 minutes after which time we got up and left. No drinks order offered and no service given. Another couple also followed us out voting with their feet. Fantasia you need to look at your lack of customer service.

My wife and I went for dinner and had a lovely meal, tomato and chill garlic bread for starter. My wife had a salmon and pasta special and loved it, I had calzone pizza with loads of sauce and it was lovely and could not eat it all.

Our second visit to Fantasia and we were not disappointed. We took friends with us who had never eaten here before and they to were impressed. We ordered the Salmon and Prawn pasta and Meatballs with pasta and chips, both were superb. Our friends ordered the gluten free pizza and a normal pizza. Starters were great too including the super spare ribs. All these meals ranged from 5.99 to 8.99 great prices. The service we received was first class in every way.⁹ The bill which included two bottles of wine was under £80 for four people, fantastic. We will be back again, and again and again .....👍👌
