Nemrud kebab house in East Lindsey

I’m a local there and the food is lovely but the delivery driver made me walk 5 minutes to get my food because he couldn’t find the number and he couldn’t be asked to drive Useless as soon as I got my food it was cold

We had a really lovely meal .my husband had a toasted bacon bap and he said it was perfect.scampi cooked just right

Prices higher than I would normally pay at home, however, excellent quality food, lamb and chicken very tender and pizzas spot on. Very quick delivery to local camp site and frindly staff . Delivery driver and takeaway both rang to confirm that food delivery was on route. Highly recommended and would order again without hesitation. Thanks

Ordered our food with a lady who was ok but a lil rude with what we wanted ,we didn’t want Brad with out kebabs that’s all then told it’s was £2.40 for dips that’s says free on the menu. Place was busy at 19.45 time. One lot of food was left on the counter for 15 mins b4 the other food was done but it was the same food! Y I don’t know. Wrong food in the bag when we got bk to the caravan so we ring them to be told It was done end of after a lil row with them they said we will do u an another one wouldn’t deliver it so we had to drive back! On arrival stone face with attitude boss! All the food was cold other than the one we pick up! Sort it out people u have a gold mine

Not even worth a 1*! Rude! Disorganised, Delivery driver can’t even knock on the correct house with order and our order was over £100! Went elsewhere after waiting half hour over delivery time! Avoid!!

Randomly only take cash if you buy at the shop, but that's the only negative. Still the best takeaway pizza I've ever eaten. Portion sizes are huge too

Excellent service very professional and helpful food is second to none and the delivery driver was a real credit to the team. We ordered 2 burgers chips and a small garlic bread and it was perfectly cooked. We are away on holiday and couldn’t find anything on site then we found these guy’s online and we couldn’t of been happier. Thank you ever so much for feeding a starving couple lol! We will definitely order again when we come next. Excellent

A member of my family purchased two pizzas from this establishment last week costing £16. They took one bit out of these pizzas and then they went in a bin they were horrible. Please be aware before purchasing from this establishment because it could be a very very costly experience,

Ordered a pizza and it took two hours to arrive. I live 15 mins walk from there premises. Excuses every time I rang. Will never use you again. If i could put no star's i would.

Just ordered a garlic bread with cheese & tomato. Awful, no taste of garlic, pizza base was far too doughy. Not cooked properly. Avoid!

Bought the Doner kebabs with salad and sauce. Very generous with the meat. The salad was crispy and fresh, not like some where it's wilted and soft. The Chilli sauce wasn't too hot that it overpowered the taste. The staff were friendly. A definite go again type of place. Prices similar to those in the area.

Ordered food at 20.30 for delivery at 21.55, I have the text message from just eat at 21.47 saying food was on its way but food didn’t arrive until 22.11, 16 mins late.. the shop is only 5 mins down the road. I’m sure if you make an order it well in advance it should come on time or just before. The pizza and kebabs was very nice and hot, salad was fresh and juicy. We will be ordering again but will order it a little earlier.

These are no doubt the best pizzas in skegness. No where holds a light to them, the delivery was fast and the delivery driver was very kind, would eat here every day if i had no cares for my health

Very tasty kebab. The chicken and lamb shish were absolutely stunning. Flavoursome and tender. The garlic and chilli sauces where also great. Fries were crispy and stayed crispy too. Well cooked to perfection. Pizza was also very tasty fresh dough and tasty fresh toppings. Garlic bread with cheese is the best I've had in a long time. If this was a sit down restaurant or would be even better. For me this is a high quality take away.

Staying at skegness sands on holiday and decided to order a takeaway. I highly recommend this place the driver was fantastic friendly and polite the was spot on massive portion and a great price.

Two times I have been here and both times they forgot things on my order. When i got back home there were things missing. Once ok, but twice is just shocking. Food was not too bad first time around, but second time not great. I will not be going back

Nemrud special kebab, as good as ever.

I’ve had 3 kebabs over the last week to see how the consistency is... so first one was crap, box meal. Second was chicken kebab (Dry).mixed kebab - dry. 3rd was chicken dinner mix, was ok and juicy.... all kebabs I asked to be spiced hot, I’m a spicy boy and like it hot hot, this was far from it! As a kebab shop they should know what spice is... pizza was very good and that why I’ve given average and not poor. Sort your kebabs out please. Now I’ve tried it I won’t be back. Next kebab shop to be reviewed.

The chips was possible the worse takeaway chips I’ve ever had. Tasted like they had been reheated and no seasoning what so ever. Cheeseburger and meat feast pizza was okay. My partner is usually a big Donner kebab lover but her wasn’t a fan of this. Overall it did the job but we would never return.

Use to come there once in a while, but after my last visit was very disappointed, staff very rude and food was not the same quality I use to have, not coming back anymore...

Delivery, just eat. Very good food, hot and Crispy, big portions, the burger gets a bit soggy, but was delivered extremely fast.

Always get takeaways from here food is always good. However we had a recent takeaway and asked for no cheese on one pizza and the person eating it has an allergy to it . We ordered with just eat and rang the resteraunt to comfirm we didn't want cheese on the pizza like we always do. The pizza arrived with little bits of cheese on it it hadnt been made with cheese all over it but there was some bits of cheese that had got onto the pizza. Possibly from when the other pizzas were made. We rang to let them know and the reaction we got from them was disgusting. They insisted no cheese was put on it so we explained that although it hadnt been made with cheese there was little bits of cheese on it. The man in the phone starting shouting a d another man in the back ground kept shouting no cheese no cheese. We told them we would send a photo but the nan still insisted there was no cheese. We spent 10 mins arguing in the phone with him with him still insisting there was no cheese on it. In the end he finally decided to send some one to collect the pizza. But no replacement was sent. After another 30 mins they then sent another pizza. No apologies from them all we had was 10 mins of them arguing and shouting at us down the phone. The food is always good here and this is the first time we have ever had a problem with them. But we will not be giving them any more business in the future. Which is a shame as their food as always very good but unfortunately their customer service is disgusting

ordered food , took longer than usual but that’s acceptable with what’s happening in the world! food is always nice. asked for a double cheeseburger , got a chicken burger instead! i wouldn’t mind but the order was read back to me and it was correct.

Best place for a nemrud special

Just ordered a mixed kebab chips and cheese and a chicken Donna wrap and they delivered to Wainfleet which is brilliant because know one delivers here and the mixed kebab was enough for 2 people I could not finish it which I was disappointed by because it was the best kebab I'd ever had it only took them 10 mins to deliver and food still red hot. The wrap was about 15 inches long and full of meat. I would definetly recommend we will be coming back

I've never seen so many pizza & kebab shops in one place, literally all next door to each other, but we chose the Nemrud based on reviews, appearance & menu. The inside looked clean, if a bit untidy, there were piles of fizzy drinks that hadn't been put away, and the menu boards / screens were all covered over, probably due to the price increases other reviews mentioned. It was quite busy, but they had our order ready in about 10 minutes, so service was good, and was cash only. The food was well cooked, very tasty, not all greasy, with decent looking fresh, crisp salad ingredients, and portion sizes. The garlic mayo wouldn't have been out of place with tandoori chicken, as it tasted more like a Riata. We all enjoyed our meals, but would agree it's a little more expensive compared to some, but the quality is price relative, so wasn't disappointed. I've added photos of the menu, so you can make up your own mind with regards the prices.

I advise wisely to not order from this takeaway. The service was shocking from the management and staff. Completely messed up the order and was charged £30 for a kebab, chips, a wrap and spicy chicken bits. This is a company that should not be running and if it was possible to rate 0 I happily would. I am not usually one to complain but when the order is messed up and we leave it and then I begin eating my kebab and it is freezing cold I am extremely unhappy, baring in mind no one else is in the takeaway. When we went back to ask politely for a warm kebab, attitude was given by all the staff. Not only that but they sneakily gave me my freezing cold kebab on the top of the ‘new fresh one’. If you are happy with overpriced food, stone cold and staff that do not know how to run a business then I completely advise you order from this pleasing take away. Will be ordering from next door as usual. They are a lot better and know how to deal with customers.

The kebabs were great, but the older lady serving wouldn't win any prizes at charm school. A lesson in customer service for her would be, smile and take the money. Don't try to be funny with customers if A) you're not a commedian and B) the customer is spending in excess of what you earn per hour. Manners don't cost anything, a thank you and goodbye would not have gone a miss. The reason I say the older lady serving would benefit from some lessons in customer service is this. We ordered 4 large kebabs in nan bread, chips and a large bottle of soft drink. I'd worked out the price around £25 and tried to pay. The lady serving snapped back and said something along the lines of "just hold on, I can't do two things at once", in a very surly and sarcastic tone of voice. Don't get me wrong, I can take a joke and I was by no means rude or troublesome to the lady serving. We hadn't been drinking at all and it was very early evening e.g. Around 6pm. I don't know if she'd gotten up on the wrong side of the bed, her caravan had been repossessed or she's just generally a grumpy old so and so with everybody. When you're in Skegness, a town that has plenty of competition on the East coast for tourist money, you'd think locals would at least try and be just polite. Politeness and even common courtesy were not in this lady's repertoire. We haven't been back to Skegness,. But if we do, I'd go back to the kebab shop, just to see if this member of staff is still working there. We now refer to this take away as the grumpy old woman kebab shop, let's just say, she made an impression and not in a good way.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Ordered chicken donner meat and chips, and mixed donner meat. They sent lamb donner meat and chips then when I contacted them, they said they had run out of chicken donner meat. I mean, why would I even order lamb donner meat when I can't stand the stuff? Not once did anyone ring me to tell me they have run out nor offer an alternative other than just taking it off their own backs and sending lamb donner!! After telling me they had run out of chicken donner meat, they then said they would send a fresh order including chicken meat and chips, funny! Manager then decided to hang up on me so when I called back, they answered the phone and without saying a single word, they hung up again. So half a hour later after several attempts of trying to contact them, they answered and told me they wasn't sending another order and there was nothing they could do! So, I've thrown the donner meat away and ended up eating a few of the chips which have obviously cost me an arm and a leg! Absolutely disgusting!!

Being from out of town, I just wanted a kebab from the nearest place. Wish I had got one from the camp site now. I was expecting something brilliant when they told me the price. In fact what I got was barely edible. Massively expensive and totally disgusting. This place must only keep trading on the back of tourists who pay twice as much as your average price, and never returning again. Avoid

I can't believe the price hike Nemrud have put on their food in only a few weeks. Our regular order now costs an extra £4.00 more, than it did a few weeks ago. You now also have to pay extra for a layer of doner meat which used to be free on a chicken shish kebab. As loyal customers of Nemruds for many years, we will be looking to order elsewhere from now on. Very dissapointing.

Oh my just had 3 kebabs and a meal for kids the position sizes was brilliant and the kebabs are the best we have all tasted in a very long time... Time on just eat said delivery would be well over a hour but no it wasn't was here in about 20-25 mins very impressed would definitely recommend and will most certainly be eating here again well done nemrud

We had family round and didn’t want to cook so ordered from Effes after almost 3hours of waiting with excuse after excuse and a very rude man on the phone, we placed an order with these, we got food about 30min after, the women on the phone and delivery driver was very polite and food was beautiful, wished we just ordered from them first, definitely will from now on, least one take away knows how to run a business

If you like quality kebabs this is the place to use. Very friendly staff and the food is excellent. Get the Nemrud Special if you are sharing a kebab, there is enough meat to fee 3 people. The chilli sauce is fab.

I ordered a pizza, chicken burger and chips and cheese, couldn't eat the chips and cheese, the chips tasted like they had been cooked in dirty oil but the rest was perfect, chicken burger cooked to how I asked which is actually a first when I do order take away they always seem to get it wrong, will definitely be ordering from here again, delivery was fast, delivery man was very polite and food was 👌🏼

We are staying at the nearby caravan park, saw this takeaway shop while passing earlier so thought we would try it tonight. Lovely friendly staff, quick service and the pizzas are lovely

food was fab as always only this time I ordered 10" garlic bread with cheese and tomato, small kebeb meat and 2 cans of Fanta £16.90, I just presumed they were busy as England was playing football that day, anyway delivery driver turned up £16.90 so I showed him the menu we have a new menu he said, I asked him for a new menu which he conviently didn't have nor has the online menu been updated may I add, he did ask if I wanted to speak to the manager but what good would this do so I left it but was extreamly disgusted as we always come here and its only ever £12 with large chip aswell, could have gone out for a meal for that, I'm still not convinced that they even have a new menu for all I no the delivery driver could be making a bob or 2!!!

Was a tad peckish the other night so I decided to give the fellas at nemruds a bell on the old blower, safe to say by the time I had finished telling them my order it may aswell already have been at my door!!! Unbelievable delivery speed as my meat feast pizza and kofte wrap was still steaming hot and oh it went down a treat alright it’s safe to say nemruds have a new regular on the books because I’ve never had food like it!!! Absolutely Incredible. P.s - the sweet young man who greeted me at my door deserved a pay rise because his manners were second to none!!!

Must go place for a kebab in my books. My favourite thing is spicy chicken kebab never can fault it. My little boy loves the pizzas here he swares by the chicken and sweetcorn. Best place in skeg. So glad they are on just eat makes it even easier to order.

2 years we have always ordered to the back lane security gate at buttlins this year the said we had to go to main reception !!!! We won’t use any more

Had a couple of large kebabs delivered...didn’t take too long and they were fine (£14). Not sure why they put a bloke on the phone that struggles to speak English but hey it’s Skegness and low standards are par for the course.

3 meals found hairs in all of them food was disgusting and just off putting after all of this trouble they refused to give us a refund! Do not go here.

Just had a delivery for here. Very poor. Was told waiting would be a hour which I was fine with. Then it arrived in 15 mins. Pizza was burnt and not hot chips were soggy. Think we got part of a canceled order. Won't order from here again.
