Lovely staff, clean Loos. The food is good and reasonably priced. There's entertainment at the weekends too.

Didn't have a meal even though the menu looked good. Stopped in for a drink while visiting the beach at Mablethorpe. Lovely pub, kind and friendly staff. Nice and clean.

Sharer Nachos were really good, absolutely massive portion for £5.99! It does say for 3 people and this would be true as a starter or snack. Recommended! lovely, friendly and helpful staff to

Holiday camp pub, limited beer choice, limited menu but what we had was spot on. We were out of season (just) so service was really excellent, no waiting very friendly and bent over backwards for our dog bringing over water bowl and giving him a bit of fuss. Beer prices at the top end for the area.

Had chicken wings and cheesy chips were to be fair actually not bad at all plenty of chips but only 3 chicken wings for the price with bbqsauce n salad in a dressing which helped as wings little dry nice atmosphere watching the footy and staff were very good pleasant and welcoming nice tidy and pint was really chilled so went down well with the chips and wings we were only over the road so a 5 min walk we will be going again as the bingo was free staff do a great job entertaining the children

Dogs now allowed. Great place again and it's actually open.

Much better eating experience than the pub on the haven site.

Snacks are amazing. Good value and filling! Unfortunately there is nothing to say they stop serving at 7:45pm. Live music is sporadic but pretty decent when it is on. Staff are efficient. Not too friendly with visitors but, particularly the lads, are forever on the go; cleaning tables, picking up glasses, finding things to do.

It was ok, drinks were a bit pricey and the food was decent pub grub.

Place was empty, staff were miserable, coffee was disgusting. Won't be returning. Update - We've not been here for 5 years, and WOW what a difference! Lovely place, lovely decor and friendly, attentive staff - will definitely be returning 😁

Meal with grandkids whilst we watch the football. Food was great, hot and freshly cooked. Be warned it’s basket meals so don’t expect fine china. Friendly service, very handy for the Golden Sands holiday park. Hubby said it was a good pint of smooth!! Football was on about 6 screens in different rooms and there’s a pool table. And it looked like a live singer was setting up as we left about 7.30pm. Went in the function room to the left first but a few loud kids running around, so we opted for the bar area where they couldn’t be heard 😀

Food was the best we had around Haven. The chicken nuggets from the children's menu were real chicken breast and delicious according to our child. The dirty fries - amazing. Service was good and the atmosphere chilled. It was Saturday night so they had an amazing musician with an acoustic guitar.

Busy pub with good quality food inc children’s menu. Beers a bit pricey but service was great, very friendly staff 👍🏻. Sky Sports on tv.

Same prices as Haven bar. There wasn’t any atmosphere, not sure if they do have any entertainment on. The food looked pretty basic chicken wings, chips etc. A few tv screens and a pool table inside. It’s ok for a quick stop after coming back from beach.

Food was amazing. The chicken burger is delicious. The staff are very friendly and the food came out quick. A great location as right near the beach so you can come here after a day out.

The Ferry Boat has just had a refurb and it looks lovely. Nice and clean and air conditioned which we were very grateful for in the heat of the last couple of days. If you're staying on the Haven Park they also give the owners discount on production of your qr code.

Nice coast-feeling pub right next to the entrance of Golden Sands Beach and parking lot. Staff is super friendly, and you’ll find a vegan option for each course. Quorn and Moving Mountain vegan food, plus vegan ice cream.

Place is a welcome stop, looks clean and pleasant inside, outside seating is good but could definately do with ashtrays or at least sweep the disgusting tab ends up on a daily basis please

Re vamped re furnished and although a little pricey on drinks unless your a Haven Caravan Owner and you get your 15 percent discount it's a nice place . Decent entertainment on a weekend. Buy pitchers of beer as its cheaper, decent take away and dog friendly. 🐕 It's an Haven pub so don't expect cheap but it's still a nicer place than last years.

Id just like to say a huge thank you to Cat and the team @ The Ferryboat for letting us use their facilities to celebrate my babies first birthday. The staff were lovely. The room was beautiful and Rory (from the seaside squad) even came down to send his wishes! Id been speaking to the team for ages about this party and everything just went perfect.. especially when we live in Walsall too so it wasn't like we could just pop in and have a chat to discuss things! There was easily 40+ people in the room and i honestly couldn't of asked for a better venue. So thanks again for making our special day, so special!!! i can't wait to come back ! 🦖 🐯 🧁 1️⃣ ❤️

Love the atmosphere. Great staff and brilliant entertainment. The only gripe I have is I'm Gluten free so the only thing I can eat here is Nachos. So we can come here for a meal which is disappointing!

Myself and my mate ended our Saturday night and The Ferry Boat Inn I'm glad we did it was an amazing place to go to. we did not eat there but the food smelt amazing the staff are very friendly the drinks are not badly priced highly recommend a vist I now I will be going back there if I'm in the area.

Not good since Haven have taken over in fact nothing good to say about it. No reason to go up the north end now. Bring back the good old days when it was dog friendly. Bring back Duncan and Kath they could serve a decent pint and the place had a heart.

Probably the worst pub food I have ever had, seaside town and the fish tastes it’s been out of date for a week, frozen chips and the worst mushy peas ever. How to get it this wrong I will never know. Take your own sandwich’s to the beach

First time ever been in. Staying at golden sands who now own it. Refitted very well. Live sports the girl behind the bar was brilliant, had bit food that was great also. Strongly recommended 👌

It's alright actually. The food is standard pub fayre, the prices are holiday club prices, but that doesn't make it bad.

Not many people in decided to order food only 2 other tables ordered food in front of us. Only do basic food no fancy big meals shouldn't take too long! 1 hr wait till our food arrived no pre warning about a delay and that it would take soo long I hadn't eaten all day so was starting to feel a little shaky if I had known we would of gone elsewhere . And to top it off my meal was not what I ordered they sent out a double beef burger when I ordered a chicken burger I can't eat beef. Told her she said you didn't order chicken I said yes I did!! So she went to till got a receipt printed off she said its says double beef burger well that's not what I ordered I went up to bar as server said there's extra to pay any normal bar would say sorry our fault no extra payment. the women who took our meal order said yes u did order chicken burger I put it down wrong! It's the same price! But then it was another 3o mins before that arrived. Very disappointed what a shambles. Having to eat on my own as my partner and daughter had finished there meals even though we come out to eat together as a family. As for the food was not nice at all. Could tell it was cheap processed food just by looking at it! The server basically called me a liar about what I'd ordered. And that put me right off some customer service skills Course wouldn't go a miss with that server!! she was very abrupt the rest of the time I was there. Making me feel at unease!

Lovely place near the beach and seal sanctuary It's been refurbished and been coming here many of years as much as I loved the old ferry boat it needed some touching up and it looks and feels nicer

Fantastic revamped pub/restaurant, nice simple menu, with really reasonable prices. Really friendly staff, a minutes walk from the shore. Really happy to see this open, I've been coming to Mablethorpe for 25+ years and first time I'c seen it open. Highly recommended the visit. Arcade attached, and seaside kiosk also. Great little business.

Food was spot on for pub grub,chicken burger was bang on,real chicken not a processed burger and food was hot. Menu was also adapted for our veggie eaters freinds. Tables are nice a clean as both the rest of the bar and food areas.really nice place to eat from the hustle of town and the bus and land train stop outside. Well done to the owners for the fantastic turnaround.

I can recommend this place staff courteous drinks good and we had excellent chicken, bacon, cheese panninies, great place clean toilets too .

We popped in for a spot of lunch on our way to the seal sanctuary, before we got our food the service was excellent, lovely staff and very helpful. Our food arrived and was outstanding, totally delicious. The inside of the building is decorated to high quality and the decor is pristine . A perfect eating experience for all of the family. There were seven of us in total from a one year old to a sixty year old. Every one left very happy.

Nice pub right near the beach. Much quieter than the Haven pub on the caravan park. Nicely decorated & outdoor seating. Drinks reasonably priced. Serving a small menu of food too. Very nice.

Way too expensive. Supposed ti be familybpub but no high chairs. Supposed to be dog friendly but no water bowls. They gave my dog a plastic cup of water . Ridiculous

After living in Mablethorpe for 2 years I thought I'd return to some of the old haunts. Ordered a pint of cider and a bottle of peroni paid £10.18 for two drinks. Any other bar in Sutton on sea or Mablethorpe? Average price is £7/£7.50 for two drinks. Your venue looks like it has had no upgrade or care or attention in the last 10 years. As a pub owner myself I wouldn't have the scruples to rip people off like that.i will not visit this establishment again

Never saw it open during the week we were there, 2nd week in September, can't say much else about it.

Loved this place had a Great weekend the bar staff was Spot on made every one welcome and joined in with great banter Guinness was a very good pint top marks

Unfortunately our visit was disappointing. It is in a great, convenient location close to a gorgeous beach and Seal Sanctuary, with transport to and from Mablethorpe by bus, Land-train or close by Sand-train. Sadly it needs a bit of TLC and drinks are more expensive than in town. Hopefully things will improve.

This place is not even a shadow of the place it once was. We felt like we were invading and shouldn't have been there. This is a pub and they wanted us gone by 10pm they said they wanted to close so we had our 1 drink and off we went. This was a Friday night. The only reason I've given a star is because you have to do at least that to do the review and the girl was lovely and very apologetic about the situation and she gave our dogs a treat. This was once a lovely pub with entertainment and food and a good place to grab things for the beach. It's so sad to see what's happened to it. It played a part in one of the many things that ruined our holiday to Mablethorpe. Been going for many years but we think it's time we moved on because Mablethorpe sure isn't going to, it seems it just wants to go backwards in time.

The Ferry Boat Inn has gone downhill since Haven have took over, it is rowdy, drinks are far too expensive, amusements are broken. It’s sad too see this once lovely, pleasant and affordable pub turn into a rowdy, expensive pub. It was so busy that we couldn’t even move without bumping into someone. I think it’s got busier because people who are staying on the haven golden sands site get a discount. 6 Pound just for 1 glass of coke…. Just because we didn’t stay on the haven site, we stayed on a site near Mablethorpe in a village.

Nice quiet pub with an arcade for the kids, staff were lovely. And yes you can take your dog in, we had no issue taking ours in

Fantastic restaurant and bar, very well maintained and not expensive, it's owned by Haven now but food is so much better and cheaper, the manager is brilliant and the assistant manager is so helpful, cheers for a great holiday guys, Pete and viv Muir from Glasgow Very sad to see how it is now four years later, haven have ruined it, only open at night, no food at all, we loved stopping off on the way to the beach for food and a a drink then on the way back a few drinks, now nothing 😭

100% great that Haven have opened this back up, but it's a little run down and smells abit damp, needs a lick of paint. But really good it's there, somewhere else to go when your at golden sands

Now the venue has been reopened finally by Haven it is however very well managed and a decent pint to be had. The venue currently offers no food options. There is a small arcade and there are clean male and female and disabled toilets available. The venue also has outside seating under a small canopy. There is a theme of sports in the venue with screens all over the venue to watch the sporting action. There is a pool table available. The prices are as expected nowadays for drinks so no real surprises to the costs. If you meet Ben he is the leading the team regularly in the ferryboat and an outstanding chap an asset to Haven holidays staffing teams.

Was a lovely pub unit bought by Haven and they do not seem to be interested in having it open. an asset to Mablethorpe North end for many years . I do hope it will reopen sometime soon.

It was probably because it was out of season but it was empty and I don't think the heating was on. The few people who were in there were watching football but were sat in almost complete silence other than the odd expletive questioning the referees' parents marital status at the time of his birth. The looks we got seemed to indicate that our conversation was disturbing them and because of that we didn't stay to eat, we just had a coffee and left. Thinking back, that might explain why the place was empty.

I’ve just gone on a site looking for dog friendly restaurants and it mentioned the ferry boat inn !! Last year I was told I could no longer bring my dog in ? You (the management) need to remove your business from from dog friendly sites as you are no longer
