Chicken tikka masala was runny with only 7 SMALL chunks of chicken. My husband had chicken tikka dry with double amount of chicken. 2 SMALL but tasty onion bhaji. Good portion of rice. Beautiful naan bread. Would not go again my masala let it down for me. I was looking for my chicken in a runny sauce. Disappointed.

The worst curry iv ever had and that's no exaggeration. Not sure what's happened here since we last went in May. Starters were good Bahji and samosas Chicken madras and lamb balti for main The madras had 5 sad little dry pieces of chicken and a random piece of tomato in a mild watery sauce so thin it wouldn't coat the back of a spoon. The balti was no better. It was like they had bought the worst microwave curry you could buy and served it up. A thin tasteless gravy with a bit of curry powder chucked in. No tomatoes like a balti should have either. The consistency of each curry was thinner than a tin of heinz soup Maybe it has changed owners again recently? We will never go again. A shame because we go a few time a year in holiday season.

Great food as always. Service a bit slow but probably due to their only being one waitress who was run off her feet!

Takeaway, staff helpful but when I got home. It was so watery it was horrible and as for the taka dhal thought is was supposed to contain lentils! Just curried soup. Wont be returning 🤢

Fabulous food, we had different mains and each one was gorgeous. We will be back again and again. Bring your own alcohol, soft drinks available. Doesn't look much from the outside but the food is brilliant. We booked and ate at about 7pm , was getting busy but was a Saturday so to be expected. Plenty of parking in the village.

Just got home from an amazing meal here. Staff are nothing but friendly, quick and efficient. The food was absolutely amazing, couldn't fault anything with our meal. We had a great time and would definitely visit again. The food was very reasonably priced! The staff were very happy for us to bring our own alcohol in, but have soft drinks to serve.

Rather dated decor but can't fault the food, great. 10-May-24 Poppadoms sauces disappointing, but the fish bhuna and vegetable rice were excellent. Bring your own alcoholic drinks.

Terrible meal, Terrible service . Waited an hour for our starters when they weren't even busy . The only person that seemed to know what they were doing was a young girl. Even the chef didn't have clue as the main courses came out they were inedible . At this stage we spoke to the manager and left . We will not be returning. What a shambles !

My first visit to the Masala Hut and the food was excellent. The chefs special chicken balti was the best I’ve ever tasted. Highly Recommend restaurant cannot wait to visit again.

Walked in this evening no fuss at all to seat 7 people. 6 starters 7 mains all cooked perfectly. Friendly service and quick to serve meals. Will be back again - thankyou!

Staff very nice. Perfect place for quiet night in. New dish completely recommend, chicken malai. A mild dish, with a very nice flavour. All dishes could not fault. The owner was very sweet, came out to all tables to check on how our meals was. Previously only had takeaways, but the food is a lot fresher and made exactly how you like if you eat in. Would bring my children here next time as I noticed on the menu a selection of English foods for fussy children.

Food made to order, served hot, and tasted delicious. Spices adjusted, if requested to accommodate taste. Thoroughly recommend. Portions are very generous. Chicken muglia great starter. Cooler evening, so restaurante not very warm but that didn't spoil my evening or food.

I was a regular customer at this restaurant. The new management and owner is poor. There is no hygiene or basic customer service. The owner greets you with a very bad smelly breath and is walking around on the phone to someone all the time. I went out to the next door restaurant and came back with the food to eat at this restaurant with my family. I had finished my food and my families food still hadn’t arrived, we waited 40 minutes. We ended up leaving and eating elsewhere.

As soon as i left i saw a little mice in front of door entrance leaving the restaurant 🤢

Absolutely shocking! The owner went to get popadoms and came back with dirty hands and served us popadoms. I seen a mice running around the restaurant and told the owner about it and he said he cant see the mice!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Food tastes like it was made in 30 seconds, staff were rude and hygiene of the place is disgusting. Definitely avoid this place and save your money.

Great food as always. Nice restaurant always a pleasure to eat here. Had amazing service from the lady behind the counter. Don’t know her name, blonde hair in a pony tail/undercut. Look after her, we saw her all night juggling the phone/walking ins for takeaways as well as looking after numerous tables near by and arranging everyone’s payments. She’s an assets and clearly going out of her way to help the restaurant run smoothly perfect customer service skills. Between her and the gorgeous food we had an a great evening out. Thank.

Excellent food. Food looks and tastes superb. Be warned they don't have an alcohol licence, but you can take your own. They need to sharpen up on elements re the restaurants presentation/atmosphere, but the food makes up for deficiencies here.

Ordered a curry and rice for myself and when I opened the bag the curry was missing and the rice was cold. Chef came out after 25 more minutes of waiting carrying the curry with sauce left all over his hands. I will not be returning due to poor hygiene rating which I have now seen first hand and lack of basic customer service.

Quicker to fly to India than get a meal here. Having booked for 7.30 pm we were informed that any food ordered would be at least an hours wait....possibly longer! Situation made all the more frustrating as only 2 tables within the restaurant appeard to have customers.? We left.

Five of us plus two babies in prams booked without much notice on Saturday, for dinner. They put us in a room to ourselves which was great, given the two prams. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal - starters and mains alike. We don’t often get such a good meal elsewhere. Cooked to perfection and very flavoursome. Excellent value too as they are not licensed so we could bring our own alcohol, saving a fortune. Service was slow, however, the poor guy was rushed off his feet as it was busy, being Spilsby Light Night. We are planning to return, we really enjoyed our meal.

This is not Indian food at all, it was too sweet and lacked basic flavour. The service was a bit slow as well and the cleanliness was poor. The plates had residue from past meals and had to get them changed multiple times. The table was very sticky and wasn’t viped properly.

I have been having take aways from this place for a very long time, and depending on what it was called, the food has been either excellent or dreadful. Unfortunately, we are in a dreadful phase again. They didn't have what I ordered, even though I paid for it. Initial the lad tried to over charge, basically because he couldn't add up. The food was bland and all the side dishes seemed to have the same gloopy sauce. Avoid, don't waste your money. Much better places are available!!!

Came last weekend and absolutely amazing food and great service of food to the table. Young gentleman who served our food to the table brown hair and glasses deserves a pat on the back, amazing work from him, deserves gratitude and a raise no mater what he’s on at the minute.

Tried the Masala Hut for the first time last weekend. The food was fine but they forgot our popadums which we eventually got but very disappointed that the pickle tray consisted of one small pot of mint sauce and one small pot of onion! No mango and no lime pickle and was charged 80p for that!

Masala Hut - wonderful food and fantastic customer service. Highly recommend the Onion Bhaji starter and Balti. The food is top quality, a full and varied menu with lots of choice. Served up by the super friendly staff. If you’re looking for a great place to dine in Spilsby look no further 👍

I'm so glad Rasoi is my local curry house. The chef is really quite good, cheerful service. Basic interior, excellent value. No licence bring your own drink which keeps the bill down.

Although the food was good the service was lacking, waiting when they had two tables in, requested drinks orders, nothing happened ? Asked for our order to be taken and then told to wait again while staff stood at the bar. We did not want to wait we made it clear we ready to order. Orange juice was sainsburys own as other juices. Food good service was a mess and told at the end of the meal cash only Must add starter portion sizes are tiny do not order waste of money… all in all I would not return based on service, no care or attention.

Was offered the Banquet, as there were 4 of us. Priced at £11.95 per person which sounded reasonable enough. Only to be told as we put our orders in that these Items would be another £3.50, these 3 items weren't available on the night...... When they asked what drinks we required there were NO alcoholic drinks only Coke etc. I asked for a cup of tea only to be told that I " wouldn't want tea because it would spoil the taste of the food?" My wife's chicken curry had 3 pieces of chicken...my Coconut rice was very short on rice in fact appeared to be mainly Coconut dust...wouldn't waste my time and money on this restaurant again...

Haven't been for a while, the food was outstanding, street food on the menu was superb, main full of flavour, we cannot wait to return. They take Card as well.

Cash Only - Dined here and had the banquet meal which includes a starter, main and a rice or naan. As encouraged by the menu I asked for a curry with okra which was not on the menu - they made an excellent lamb bhuna which okra. All of the food was great quality, mains, rice, naan and poppadoms / toppings. The service was friendly and helpful, there was a minor error with our order, a mushroom pilau was served to table when we ordered a plain pilau but there was no issue with this. Restaurant is on the cosy side with simple and tasteful decoration with a nice atmosphere. Parking is available in the town center with the restaurant 50 paces down the lane. Apologies for the terrible quality photos - the food was great!

Went on banqueting night again, all the food we had was fresh and very tasty. Service has improved and was prompt and friendly despite being busy. Nice to have Nepalise options. If we go out for curry, this is our go to.

Fake reviews, they don't know what is real Indian food. Panner Tikka is not fried Panner. You ruined our special day. Not for real Desi test. Momos were good so one star for that but fish Tikka is not Fired fish. Very disappointed and we cancelled our main course order because the trailer was so bed. I must say the staff was good for the whatever little encounter we had.

Had a delightful experience! The menu offers a wide selection of flavoursome dishes. The staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant had a vibrant atmosphere. As a Londoner, I find it hard to find a restaurant as good as this, even in London. This is a gem in rural Lincolnshire!

Highly recommended restaurant in Spilsby, Lincolnshire. They have an excellent new chef and now feature Nepalese food as well as Indian. Four of us tried different dishes and all were delicious. Happy to see that Vegan and Vegetarian dishes are featured very well with a wide range of choice. Looking forward to a return visit.

We have just eaten some excellent food here this evening. The only place in Lincolnshire that offers authentic Nepalese cuisine. And possibly it has one of the most comprehensive vegan menus around. Staff are lovely and the ambience is perfect!

Found this wonderful restaurant in Spilsby. I thought it was a standard Indian but they have introduced Nepalese items. The food was delicious! I loved the taste and texture of the food which had the right level of spice and was promptly delivered by the cheerful waiter. The service was first class and my wife and children loved the atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Nom nom nom! This is an excellent Indian restaurant with fast and friendly service and delicious food. I think the fact that it was busy at teatime on a Thursday says it all! Take your own booze.

Staff were fantastic. Food average. Owner/manager rude to staff and attempted to overcharge us and seemed inept. Pre-booked for a party of 6 and upon arrival tried to split us into a table of 4 and a table of 2, unacceptable.

First visit tonight and will definitely be the first of many, superb atmosphere, super friendly staff, amazing food and service 👌 😋.....can't wait for our next visit 🤗

The food was fine, but the 2.5 hour wait from ordering to collection was ridiculous. They didn't even realise they hadn't started preparing the order when I paid and I had to wait another hour after paying. The £10 refund on a £90 was almost offensive.

Really lovely Indian restaurant, happened upon it while out in Spilsby...the smell drew me in! Had a korma, tikka masala, rice, couple of naans, poppadums, and a sag paneer, very very nice! Exactly what you expect, done well, decent portion sizes, and good customer service! We had it to take away, but while I was in there I really got a feel for the restaurant and look forward to visiting in person. Can only rate 4 stars on food atm as only sampled small selection on one occassion, but will update after next visit 👍🏻

Had a cracking meal with a group of friends while on holiday. Great service, fantastic food (naan breads was excellent) and bring your own booze. If I live locally I’d be in there most weekends!
