The best restaurants in Towcester Mill South Northamptonshire East Midlands

First visit to Truva, and very impressed with food, service and staff. Flatbread and dips we're unexpected, and delicious. We were a group of six and all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. For me the outstanding course was the Mushroom Saute starter. Highly recommended.

Was having difficulties finding a suitable venue for a small gathering after my late Uncle's funeral. I enquired with this lovely little cafe and was enormously relieved when they agreed to lay it on for us. What greeted us after the funeral was the enveloping warmth and coziness of the place, together with a beautifully laid out large table set for afteroon high tea. To say the food was good would be an understatement. They even accommodated us by closing the business off for our reception. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely lovely people and a super venue - many thanks to all !

Everything about this place is amazing, I always recommend DnA to everyone. They’ve absolutely nailed all aspects of the restaurant. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, always very clean, with a pleasant dining atmosphere. The drinks and food quality is consistently very good. The food is genuinely amazing - some of the best I’ve ever had! The steaks are always cooked to perfection and I’ve never found a roast which beats DnA. The food is also quick to come out and the portions are very big so I always feel that I have got great value for money. The service is also impeccable every time. All the staff are very friendly, attentive, and professional. I’ve visited this place many times and I’ve never once left feeling disappointed about anything. If you haven’t been before make sure you pay them a visit!

Went with a group of 16 Mums We had a great time. They treated us very well and made us feel welcome. Food was served quickly and efficiently. We were able to buy drinks separately at a bar upstairs.. which meant it was easy to split the bill for food! These things make a difference when out with a big group! Most of a group loved their food .the couple that didn't had perhaps misunderstood the descriptions on the menu. Good night overall. Am sure we will do it again!

Not visited here for many years. We have been missing out!! The food was delicious. Lovely atmosphere in Truva. Food was ordered and came out promptly. I had the mixed grill which was lovely. My wife had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. For desert we both had the cheesecake which again was delicious. The only small criticism I have is that I had to ask twice for more drinks rather than the waiters asking us if we needed anything. We will definitely be back VERY soon

As many others have said, Lees Cottage is really rather good. Fast efficient ordering. Pick it up later and pay cash only. Reasonably priced, piping hot and every dish is delicious. Our new favourite Chinese takeaway.

2 hours to get a large pizza. Ordered a large BBQ sauce . Didn't get that . Pizza was luke warm. Been ordering pizza from towcester dominos for years. This will be the last time .

Greeted with a smile and hello. Made to feel very welcome. Coffee made perfectly. Food very nice. Girls there very busy and always cleaning.

Takeaway this evening wasn’t good. We have had much better in the past. Messed up the order which was frustrating. The prawn toasts were like rubber and the house special chow mein smelt like fish and was in a thick sauce and rather unpleasant. Such a shame. Probably won’t be rushing back. Wondering if now the restaurant is back open the takeaway isn’t as good as it’s been previously. Ordered via just eat- was ready in about 15 mins which maybe explains…
