Dna Steak & Grill in South Northamptonshire

Had our Christmas meal here and I have to say it was one of the best Christmas meals I have had. Food was excellent. Fresh and hot and plenty of choice. They served Silverstone beers which are a personal favourite. We would definitely want to eat here again.

We had a wonderful meal on Sunday with our friends visiting from overseas. We had never been ourselves so was a little nervous about taking friends somewhere new to us but we had no need to worry. It was fantastic and our friends were very impressed. The restaurant itself has a great ambience. The staff were professional, polite and attentive. They were spot on. We rarely have 3 courses when we dine out but the food was so good, we did. We had two desserts and four spoons! Best fillet steak I’ve had in a long time. Thank you and we will definitely be coming back.

First time visiting tonight, unbelievable food, completely outstanding, have never had a perfect steak, from service to the cook, to the taste, to the delivery, you can see the massive commitment to quality and consistency, 10 steaks ordered tonight and all unbelievable, the pork belly was out of this world, if you love that extra quality you rarely find for a fantastic price then you won't be disappointed Can't recommend enough, could not fault, the service was extremely professional and relaxed, nothing too much trouble Fantastic

There were 9 of us . Revisiting after a previous positive experience and just as good this time .it didn't matter that there were so many of us or that there was another large Birthday table. The whole team were fab. Thankyou!!!!!!!!!

We had a lovely meal. My husband said it was the best filet he had tasted. Staff was lovely and very friendly. We had the prawns and belly pork for starters with was divine.

DNA steak house is always excellent, we are both vegan but love it here. They take great care of us and the meal is always superb. Next time vegan dessert please!!!

Superb food, service and atmosphere- a great find! We have just moved to Towcester and have had the pleasure in discovering DNA this month. We have visited twice and on both occasions had superb food and great experience on both occasions. The first visit was for our wedding anniversary where it only were the steaks amongst the best we have ever had but the staff were also superb in offering the right balance between interested attentive and also allowing us the space to enjoy our meal. We also had Sunday roast today which was again superb. Once again the restaurant provided a busy and happy vibe which served as a great back drop to a superb meal.

We went for a meal for our anniversary and could not fault this restaurant. The food was top class the best steak I have ever eaten. Superb sauces and truffle and Parmesan fries. The service was informative and attentive. We went back today for Sunday Lunch which was equally as good not cheap but excellent value you get what you pay for 10/10.

Went for Sunday Roast dinner, absolutely beautiful food, we tried the beef and the chicken both lovely cuts of meat, could really taste the quality in the food. Highly recommend, friendly staff and lovely setting, great value for the quality

Firstly I don’t leave reviews but here we go, thought these guys deserve shouting about as if you’re like me and like eating out and tried most places locally, you will know there aren’t many nice places in Towcester, well to my taste anyway. We have been to DnA on 10 or 11 occasions in the last 6 months. I can’t believe I hadn’t been before 🙈 Have had mostly burgers, stakes and Sunday roast. I would say is the best place in and around Towcester for sure. The food is always delicious and hot. I love the chips. 🍟 The staff is very helpful, polite and most importantly they always have a smile on their face. Will definitely be back. Make sure you book if you go as it gets busy… Thanks for the extra chips a few weeks ago when we asked for the food to be served without salad, nice substitute and gesture 🤩 Ana

I can't put my finger on it but there was something about the place that just hit all of the right buttons from the moment we walked in and I have to say that the lunch we had met with universal acclaim which is really quite unusual from all three of us. I shall definitely be coming back to test the rest of the menu and suggest that you try it too!

Fabulous. I enjoyed a fantastic three course meal at this restaurant, it was the first time I had been there but will most definitely return. Pork belly starter was exceptional, something I frequently ask for and this was one of the very best. I enjoy a ribeye as the marbling adds flavour and this was delicious. Cooked perfectly. Therefore I could not resist a desert and the sticky toffee pudding was again, one of the best ever. The service is excellent, nice environment, good wine list. Totally recommend.

We have had many amazing meals at DNA, so we thought we'd try the Sunday roast with our best friends, it was the best roast dinner we have ever had, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. All cooked to perfection. If you haven't tried the roast then get yourself down there and book a table, you won't be disappointed. We highly recommend DNA. Thank you Alberto and Dave for an amazing dinner.

Ordered the ribeye steak, perfectly cooked to medium rare but overwhelmed amount of salt and pepper, can't really taste the flavor of the meat. Such a shame for excelling at doneness but ruined it by excess seasoning

Having eaten here on lots of different occasions. We decided to try the Sunday roast. We weren’t disappointed the food was exceptional, we all had different meat choices and couldn’t fault anything even the extra cauliflower cheese was lovely. Without a doubt the best roast we have ever outside of home. And would book Xmas if they did it

We have often thought of coming here and never got round to it, Jesus I wish we had come here sooner. The food was amazing, staff attentive and friendly. Although we were full from the main course we still shared a desert.

Exceptionally good vegan steak, certainly one of the best vegan meals I’ve had when dining out. The steak itself was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious.

Excellent quality food, attentive but not overbearing service. Mixed grill and steaks were melt in the mouth, desserts excellent as well.

Fantastic food whenever we go, Monday night or a busy Saturday evening. Wonderful steaks and meats, all cooked perfectly. Brilliant to have such a decent offering from an independent, as opposed to the usual high street kebab shop dross.

Nice little cosy restaurant with amazing food, staff and atmosphere. Big dishes and the food was cooked to perfection. The mixed grill we had was beyond any mixed grill I've ever had - meat was proper cooked and was melting in my mouth. And the sticky toffee pudding was simply the best!

It's not just about the steak!...... we popped in for Sunday lunch last weekend and OMG! it was stunning. Probably the best that we've ever had around Towcester. We've cancelled our Mother's Day booking elsewhere and rebooked for DNA. I can't wait to go again! 🤣

Popped in tonight for an early valentines meal, wow just wow, food, ambiance, service and food all excellent We had booked another venue in towcester but didn't like the menu when we arrived, walked passed DNA and can honestly say it was amazing, the steak was melt in your mouth, hubby had the mixed grill and it was delicious the pork and steak so tender, it felll apart. A gem to visit again. Must add service with a smile as always makes difference. We will be back and bring our friends.

Amazing meal out for a birthday. Food was sensational, atmosphere was great and staff were knowledgable, helpful and friendly.

Should be called V&A as the food is so exquisitive it belongs in a museum! Had a fantastic meal on Sat 27th Jan, pork belly and brie bites starters and various steaks. Good ambience, no loud music, plenty of space. The best meal out I've had since I remember. Favourites were the soft and smoky teriyaki pork belly, the picanha with chimmichuri and the onion rings (crispy and sweet).

This place is a hidden gem in Towcester. We usually go for the steak sharing platter which is always amazing! We decided to try the Sunday roast that people in Town have been raving about, because I’m a chef I’m normally quite disappointed when I have a roast out! Well I certainly wasn’t disappointed it was absolutely fantastic! The service is always great & the atmosphere is always warm and friendly, the food is excellent! I’m definitely a fan!

Visited Dna with friends last night. Stepping through the door we were welcomed by the staff to a lovely full restaurant with a really lively buzz (always a good sign). I thought nothing could beat the beautifully cooked Brazilian Picanha steak ....that was until I tried the delicious homemade chips and finally the indulgent knickerbocker glory !! The service was as high quality as the food and the atmosphere. All in all, a fantastic evening out. Very highly recommended.

I've been to DNA many times, and have been meaning to leave a review for years. It is clearly long overdue and is the least I can do to support this local independent restaurant. Their consistency is second to non; every visit the food is absolutely delicious, the cocktails are great, the waiters are very friendly, and the owner is extremely attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who can appreciate the combination of great food and fantastic service. It's perfect for group meals, meet-ups or date nights. Top quality steak. Had the sharer and every bite was delicious. Cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Sticky toffee pudding was amazing too. Very good service. Not cheap but more than happy to pay for a quality meal.

One of the best hamburger I’ve ever had 😍 I’m not a meat lover but this one was perfectly cooked and juicy. The staff was friendly and nice anche the ambiance warm and cozy. After visiting Silverstone Museum, come here to have a bite. It will definitely be worth it

Had the most amazing meal here last night. The food was just sublime, I’d go as far to say the best steak I’ve ever had. Sticky toffee pudding was also unbelievably nice. And to top it off the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy, which made the experience that much better. Bravo DNA, 10/10.

I am never going anywhere else for a Steak. Interesting menu, with some fancy options. Food is extremely tasty and well presented, staff is nice and the atmosphere is great. Can't wait to come back.

The chicken and steak also the same. (Sticky toffee pudding) lovely. In my opinion probably the best meal I’ve eaten out ever from memory. It is now definitely going to be my new favourite place to eat if the food taste as good as it did today!

First time here and the food did not disappoint was really good, pricey but don’t mind when it’s good. However the team need to be more on it and attentive they really let the front down the atmosphere let it down too no music. Was quite however if the service was better I would have scored higher as the food was very good. When your charging these prices you really need good front service team !

Phenomenal. Best place in town for food, best restaurant for miles. Food incredible, service amazing... Really friendly, with a family atmosphere but perfect for couples & friends too. Steaks are perfect and the roast dinners on a Sunday are the best I've eaten in a restaurant.

We had an amazing meal for my daughters 50th this evening. The food was incredible, we got a takeaway dessert for the fifth member of our group who couldn't make it. We always have sticky toffee pudding...this one was the best by far. Thanks to all the staff who made this a pleasureable and most memorable evening😁😁

I went to DNA for lunch on a Saturday with my husband. The service was very friendly. The food was delicious! I had a chicken baguette and my husband had the steak baguette, my husband said the steak was perfect. They came with chips and salad. We both said the chips were the best we’ve had, chunky and homemade! DNA are offering 25% off but we will be back and happy to pay full price. Can’t wait to return to try the roast dinners soon.

The rain halted our longer walk for lunch elsewhere, we walked back into Towcester and dropped into D & A. Well rain messed up plans, but quality of food and service simply made the day. My wife had steak Diane, and I had the haddock and chips, both present very well, excellent portions and service. To our surprise there was a 25% discount at lunch time. Cannot believe this restaurant was not full of people at the price, for quality meals. By far greater value for money than garden center cafe’s, and local high street venues. Thank you D & A you never fail to impress.

After our third visit this evening to celebrate my birthday I just want to share what a fantastic meal we had, staff are always welcoming and accommodating and I would highly recommend to anyone . You are a true asset to towcester!

Very disappointing meal. My steak very tough and not at all juicy (supposed to be Medium Rare, but just dry and unpleasant). Chips soggy and lukewarm - looked and tasted like cheap oven chips. Top end pricing definitely not justified - there are much better alternatives.

This place is exceptional. Incredible pork belly and prawn starters. Steak was cooked to perfection. Tasty fries and sides. Friendly and chatty staff. Excellent speed of service. A real gem.

DNA Steak and Grill I a must restaurant for real Steak connoisseurs. I have been searching through the UK for the perfect Steak and I was incredibly impressed. Not just the flavour but the perfectly cooked Rib Eye will live on in my mind for a long time. The onion rings and even the chips were perfect also. Highly recommended!!

We visited this restaurant for my partner's 40th birthday! We travelled from Suffolk for a weekend away and decided on DNA Steak and Grill due to the reviews. They did not disappoint!! The food and service was exceptional. The burger tasted wonderful, the steak cooked to perfection and the onion rings were the best we ever tasted. The staff were all really pleasant and helpful. For my partner's 40th birthday, they put a candle in his dessert and sang Happy Birthday! It really did top off our night. Highly recommended you visit here 💗

My mouth is watering just thinking back to eating here. A group of 4 of us had the chateaubriand and everybody was very impressed. The meat was beautiful, the dauphinoise potatoes were buttery and delicious and the cocktails were fresh and well made. It was a fairly hefty bill but honestly worth every penny, absolutely the best restaurant locally.

Had a really lovely evening at DnA, the quality of food was really tasty, there was time between courses for a tipple and a chat without feeling rushed. I thought I’d try the fish of the day, Swordfish as I’ve never had it before and...

It was indeed a pleasant surprise. I found this restaurant by chance on Tripadvisor and decided to go in. With a cozy room, always with clientele, the menu offers several options but meat lovers will love many of the delicacies. I ordered a mix of meats, to share, and I didn't regret it at all. It was worth every gram. The service was always very close, friendly, careful and attentive. The restaurant is right in the middle of the village, next to the town hall. It's easy to find a free park nearby and take a few steps there. Sorry for the prejudice, but it seems like you can still eat well in the UK! ;-)

Awesome food. Came here on saturday 15th july as a party of 9. Most of us had the DnA burger and 2 of us had the pork T.Bone with black pudding Bon Bons.. Thanks for a great night guys.

The meal was ok, and the steak was slightly overcooked but still tasty. The prawn starter was nice and spicy. Service was a bit slow although they were nice and friendly, we would have spent more on drinks if they arrived quicker.

Turned up without a booking and restaurant was busy but we were accommodated and lots of effort was made to make our night after a cancelled flight! Fillet steak was just the best, beautifully cooked and just delicious as was the side of Parmesan topped...
