i came here with my husband. and i must say it was on of the best turkish restaurants i have been to. good service. good portions, good quality food well presented. unfortunately, I do not live in the area but if I’m in this area ever again, I will certainly go back in

An excellent meal, we were made very welcome by attentive staff. Our starters were very well cooked and presented. Our main meals were also very good. The friends we were with are from Enfield London, which has a large Turkish community said its the best Turkish meal they've had. We will definitely go back.

I come here regularly with my two boys aged 10 and 15, I even occasionally bring my wife! We sometimes joke that one day we'll log on to see how many time/how much we've sent here, but we don't care, every time we come it's just amazing. The manager is just awesome. The food is heaven.

We love Truva and have been a few times now. Lovely food and very friendly team, plus great service! Great selection of drinks and something for everyone on the menu. Lovely decor too. We often bring friends here as its a lovely evening out! Gluten free options are great too and the team have good knowledge on dietary requirements

Has been renovated since our last visit and I have to say we were very impressed with the decor and space Feels like we have found a gem in Towcester Service from start to finish was ace - especially in looking after the kids - and the food was really very good Not the cheapest night out but we had a really lovely evening and would definitely recommend Certainly makes an improvement to watling street village ( one notch up from a weatherspoons) and a change from Indian restaurants which is our only other in Towcester

I visited Truva Chef Sula Grill, a Turkish restaurant, on whim today. I have intended to visit for a while… made it today. Truva is situated in the Roman town of Towcester (pronounced by locals as Toaster) in a lovely courtyard opposite Towcester Museum. The restaurant is away from traffic but very convenient for the historic town centre. There is plenty of free parking within two minutes walk of the restaurant including spaces for Blue Badge holders. Five minutes walk is a car park with at least five electrical hookups. I chose to eat outside in the courtyard so I can’t comment on the interior or toilets. I was greeted by a cheerful and welcoming member of staff. I was seated where I chose. The table was beautifully dressed set off with comfortable cushions on the bench seat. At no time was I rushed and the service was exceptional. I have mental health issues including speech difficulties but I always felt comfortable. I chose the fixed price lunch menu, two courses for £14.99 which I enjoyed with a bottled Coke. I found the total, less than £18, to be great value for money. The lunch menu had plenty of options, including Vegetarian and Vegan. I looked at the evening menu and the choices are expansive, including non-Greek options and a children’s menu. The food was delicious with Calamari for starters and Chicken Shish for my main. The portion size was perfect for lunch. The ingredients tasted fresh, well seasoned and were presented in an appetising way. Location - Excellent Food - Excellent Ambience - Excellent Service - Excellent Value - Excellent I will be returning, I will be bringing friends, I can’t recommend Truva any more than that. I hope your visit matches my happy experience.

We came here as my Mothers Day treat, because this has to be one of my favourite restaurants around. You are always guaranteed excellent service, friendly staff, THE most delicious, freshly cooked food and great value for money. The restaurant was very busy as you would expect for Mothers Day, but the service was still great, we didn't have to wait to receive our food for any longer than we normally would. All the staff were smiley and friendly. Thank you Truva for another great experience. Can't wait to return! Please everyone support this independent restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

This was our third visit and I had meant to review much earlier. What makes this gem of a restaurant stand out, is not only the excellent food, which is delicious, but to me it is the waiting staff, who are beyond polite and just go the extra mile. I usually don't go back to anywhere more than once, in case things have changed but three times now and we are still very very happy. The Chicken Beyti is superb, mixed grill is still a favourite and chicken wings are lovely. Thank you to all the staff and chefs. Keep doing what you are doing! We love it.

Booked a table for 22 people for a surprise 60th birthday party on January 27th. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful from the start of the booking to the end of the evening. Food was tasty, hot and served by a very smart young man. We would all recommend a visit and will return again soon (if they’ll have us back!) Thank you to all at Truva.

Used to love going here but the last visit I was disappointed by the size of the portions :-( We previously visited and ordered a mixed platter for two which was a amazing, however it seems the portion size has greatly reduced and now it’s now quite stingy. We left after paying £76 still hungry

I would like to start by complimenting the beautiful decor and the comfortable atmosphere we were greeted at the door and sat pretty much straight away the service was definitely professional they went above and beyond and the food wow wow wow full of flavour and cooked to perfection I would like to personally say a big thank you to the young lady and young guy who served us I wish I knew their names so I could name drop they were spot on it really was perfection
