I had some time to spare whilst I was waiting to collect someone and I was feeling a little peckish and so I popped in and ordered a full English breakfast. Wow what a gem of a Cafe this is. Superbly clean matched with exemplary service. The breakfast was amazing fresh and tasty. You have a business to be proud of and it was a pleasure to dine there. I will call in again when I'm in the area. ( Can't Wait )

We’ve visited the Bar and Grill many times and as a result have high expectations! I’ll begin with the negative. Tuesday evening, 6.30pm booking. No steaks available. I appreciate that you rely on suppliers but this was a disappointment. No matter, we ordered the pie of the day and a burger with gnocchi staters. The food was outstanding, as we have come to expect. Great presentation, well cooked and very good service. This restaurant has become our “go to” choice in Brackley and despite the absence of the steaks it lived up to expectations. Thank you and we look forward to the next visit!

We recently went to the Rose and Crown for a lovely Friday night meal. The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. They have a great team who are really friendly, helpful and customer focused. The menu was varied and caters for all tastes. I chose the brie and mushroom crostini as a starter - it was superb! The mains were great - I opted for fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. My wife had one of the specials... the honey chilli salmon and rice with pak choi. Again, delicious! We finished off with the amazing cheese platter - it had us beat! A really generous sharer with enough for a to-go box! All round, really excellent value for a delicious meal out. This little gem is just 2 miles from Hanslope and is easily accessible from the surrounding towns and villages. Give it a go and support our local businesses 100% recommended! (we'll be back soon!)

I enjoyed the most delicious vegan afternoon tea at the old first station today. It wasn’t my first visit but it was my most delicious! The variety and choice of flavours were…. I have no words! The staff were all wonderful and welcoming! Nothing was too much trouble!

The food is nice, but these prices are akin to London or Oxford. Not a small cafe in the country. Pretty outrageous. Quiche, bit of spinach, blob of balsamic, bit of coleslaw. Over £15. Oh and some cheap crisps. Ridiculous pricing. Would have cost them under £3 to produce that. Greedy.

Spotted this pub on TripAdvisor as a great place for Sunday roast. So phoned the day before to check they were dog friendly. Yes, dogs are allowed in the bar. Decent roast. I had pork loin (£18.00). My friend had sticky toffee dessert (£7) too and she said it was delicious. They have a restaurant if you're going without a dog.
