The Old Fire Station in South Northamptonshire

I enjoyed the most delicious vegan afternoon tea at the old first station today. It wasn’t my first visit but it was my most delicious! The variety and choice of flavours were…. I have no words! The staff were all wonderful and welcoming! Nothing was too much trouble!

Decided to try their warm fruit scone. Assumed from that, that it was freshly made and still warm, or at least warmed up, but nevertheless fresh. It was neither. It was not warm at all. It was extremely dry and quite hard, denoting it to be not fresh in any way. Despite leaving more than half of it, no one commented or asked how everything was. Perhaps it's spreading themselves too thinly with the opening of their 2nd establishment. Such a shame. We want to like it there, but sadly, standards need to improve first.

Had a catch up with a good friend here earlier, was promised good things, apparently not always easy to get a table, I am so glad we did. Why? For one reason, the crumpet stack, what a brilliant idea, crumpet, cheese, bacon, hash brown and sausage - a triumph!

Lovey cafe, the staff very welcoming and the food spot on. Lovely choices and ingredients. Would really highly recommend it.

Popped in for brunch and the staff could not have been more welcoming. Service was top notch as was the food with quality ingredients and some really different brunch choices. Highly recommended.

It is always a pleasure to eat at the Old Fire Station, the food is excellent, you could not fault the service even if you were to try. They are very attentive, able to take and deliver changes to the menu without hesitation, and always with a smile. I do have one little gripe...we found it very difficult to book and had after four attempts at calling and leaving message had to go into the restaurant and actually book. Apparently, don't leave a message, there are hundreds of them on the phone system, and they don't go through them I'm told. So if you do want to book, don't bother leaving a message, it won't get answered no matter what the message says, and you'll have to call over and over again until they answer. Or stop in and book.

A real gem, great find, lovely breakfast! Good variety of food and drinks, lovely staff, lovely venue. 10/10 would recommend and visit again!

I visit here a lot, coffee and breakfast with girlfriends and take my two dogs( they eat a lot of my breakfast) and I have lunch with my husband. Even been on girls nights out. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Danny runs an amazing place with all his talent and passion and it really works!

This little gem of a place in Brackley Northamptonshire is just wonderful from the this lovely place and the staff in here and the food presentation is 10 out of 10 , and the lovely items in food from local supplied company’s and Farms From a lovely afternoon Tea or a lovely breakfast or lunch if you are in the area , i 100% recommend this place Also a tip please book in advance a table if you can to avoid being disappointed I am a local person and go here as often as I can

Great place to eat, wonderful atmosphere and tremendous food. I had the eggs benedict and it was perfect, tasty, well prepared, and didn't have to wait long for it either. The staff were polite and attentive, no blaring music to listen to or talk over was a godsend. The cappuccino is the best in Brackley, and I cant recommend The Old Fire Station enough!

Went with my son & his partner to have a light lunch with my wife for her birthday. Salad’s where all lovely & choc brownie & ice cream went down very well with all 4 of us.

Amazing afternoon tea for Father’s Day. The mini steak pies were delicious as were the home made cheese scones and sausage rolls. Our girls treated me for Mother’s Day and hubby for Father’s Day. Lots of variety of food and you have the option to change if they don’t fit your dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The setting was lovely and welcoming.

Afternoon tea. 2 cups of tea, one bite size sausage roll, one sandwich, 4 bite size cakes plus one scone/jam/cream, cost .... £18 ---- not particularly good value.

Popped in here at about 2:35 on bank holiday Monday and they were due to close at 3. We all had delicious cakes and tea/coffee. The interior is fabulous and would come back again if in the area.
