Lovely old style pub with great simple charm. The staff are very freindly and welcoming. Plenty of parking and and very nice outside area. Traditional pub furniture with the classic brass wall decorations. Additionally there as sofa's to sit on for that more relaxed and casual drink. A pool table & lovely food available too.

Excellent value F&C. Does breakfast as well but yet to try March 2025. Now had a big breakfast, excellent and if having one you'd better be hungry and not planing to do any work for a few hours. Plus a big pot of tea, bargain.

Absolutely banging Sunday dinner, if you've not been your missing out!!! Great atmosphere and friendly staff, cosy and chilled vibe.

Me and my dad have been here several times for lunch. I love The Old Paper Shop, it is a great café for lunches and breakfast. I think we have made through most of the menu now, and we will still keep coming back! The staff are very kind and welcoming. A great local café to have in Crowland!

Found this little tea shop and it looked lovely. Friendly service. Cheese scone was lovely, warmed in microwave. Sausage roll, also warmed in microwave, was very greasy; probably better eaten cold. Both appeared to be home made. Decided against the cake as only two to choose from; we were going to order the cake platter and glad we didn’t as £14 for two choices would be disappointing. Unfortunately the view from our table was of the kitchen. I realise that this could happen anywhere but to see it is not good- the man decided to sort the bin. He took off the lid and arranged the full bag, then added some more rubbish to it. Yes I watched intently to see what he did next. Then he picked up a tea towel and began drying cutlery and putting it away. He did NOT wash his hands. He then went back to the bin and moved it, with the tea towel in his hand. He then came into the eating area and took an order. He then returned to the kitchen to start the order. At no point did he wash his hands and he was still using the tea towel that had most definitely touched the bin. We left and however cute this place looks, we will not be returning. They need to look at their hygiene rules and routines urgently.

Firstly the food and the staff are excellent (5*), it is when you leave your problems begin. For some reason and probably cost, the car park is not tarmaced, it is just made up with rolled, crushed stone with little maintenance since installed. The stone is now well worn down and holds water in places, so much so when you return to your car the bottom of your shoes are covered in wet crushed stone residue which walks straight into your car. You then need to let it dry on your mats and clean them the following day.

Bread dry might as well have been toast hardly any filling not all ingredients available and overpriced at£6.09 won’t return
