The best restaurants in Newark and Sherwood East Midlands

Came here and enjoyed a drink and bar food. Very good price and made to feel so welcome. Will be back and hopefully come to one of the events they have on

Myself and my boyfriend recently stayed here. It is in a perfect location, right in the heart of the countryside. The hosts were wonderful and super friendly. The bed was incredible and the hot tub was just the icing on the cake. There is so much to do in the area and lots to explore.

Superb food, delicious coffee perfectly baristered, very friendly welcoming staff - perfect! Dog friendly and baby friendly!

Friendly staff great atmosphere, amazing food and coffee, 5* recommendation. Clean, comfortable, love the booths and decor. Can see a successful chain in major cities in future.

We stay on a working farm with fishing it's a lovely little village very good butchers and co op plus a cafe a couple of pubs and afish and chip shop

Service with a smile (I find this a rarity these days) and very polite. Prompt service. Lovely food, smoothie bowl…highly recommend this place, will be going back again soon. 👍

This is a great coffee shop. The coffee is great quality and the staff/ owner are really pleasant. It's great for a coffee to take out for a walk or to sit in the sunny courtyard.

Friendly team, fast service & best jacket potatoes in Newark! Really convenient location to pop into with plenty of parking available.

We had a small conference before lockdown. Great service. we had picnic bags and the sandwiches were great.

It was our first time visiting the restaurant and we loved it! I can't believe we haven't been before now (I live local to it). We received a warm welcome on arrival and were quickly shown to a table (we had a reservation). Service was prompt and friendly, staff were very happy to explain about the different dishes and make recommendations on what we might enjoy. The food was amazing, honestly never ate Vietnamese before but definitely will have again. Explosions of flavour with every mouthful. The restaurant doesn't have any parking but there are several pay and display carparks within a 2 minute walk, do not really an issue. I can't cannot recommend highly enough.

A superb jewel in Newark, amazing food and wine. Food can be seen being prepared, lovely ambience, great selection of wines too. Super service, would definitely recommend.

Fabulous array of delicious tapas food. Lovely cosy setting with very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be returning soon.

Delicious, But a bit messy. But this can be a nice thing (With plates). But without plates this can be problematic
