Pearl China in Newark and Sherwood

We stay on a working farm with fishing it's a lovely little village very good butchers and co op plus a cafe a couple of pubs and afish and chip shop

We have been using this Chinese takeaway for the past 26 years. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Food is always hot, never had a bad meal in all those years. Would recommend to anyone. We have moved out of the area now and travel here for takeaway still, it’s only 12 miles away but I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you for your excellent service and food. Super food, friendly chef. Been visiting here for years, consistently good. Willing to leave out chilli or carrots or whatever, proving it is all freshly cooked to order.

I have been meaning to try this place for a few months now, but sadly I never seem to have cash in my wallet when I fancy it so as they don't accept card I have been putting it off. But tonight I had cash, and wasn't dissapointed, I came close to closing time and expected to be turned away, but no, I was served quickly, and in a pleasant manner. I had something simple, but it was exactly how I like it.
