Was passing through Harby and stopped by Gillys Fish Bar, stopped for a quick bite to eat the staff were lovely and prepared all of our food fresh to order had the gillys spicy fish, as something new to try and it was so fresh and tasty ! Would definitely recommend to friends and family :)

Ideal for sizes or groups, we had 12 today. Definitely recommendable.

Popped in for a quick pint. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. And they sell BIG bags of crisps. Bonus!

Recent Sunday visit to Dove Cottage tea room. Good menu with a great range of freshly prepared hot and cold snacks, cakes and drinks. Friendly, efficient service, clean and a nice garden!

Lovely setting but the quality of the food really wasn’t good and some of the fusion with meat and fruit was odd. Every course smelled the same. The wine flight was also a bit of an acquired taste and not very much of it. Once the staff realised we didn’t like it then we did feel a little bit unloved as customers.

Lovely and friendly local pub, serving lovely food with geat hospitality and all staff friendly and welcoming.

Been here several times after first seeing it on a Facebook advertisement. Food and service has been great on every visit. Very good value too.

quite disappointing that they didn’t have a nut roast and that their roast potatoes were all cooked in beef fat as i would have loved a sunday roast. but the food was absolutely delicious and will definitely be coming back in the future! :)

We visited as a last minute booking for 2 families totalling 22 people the day after our daughters wedding. The owners and staff were very accommodating and friendly and put on Sunday lunch for us with only 2 days notice. Both mains and desserts were good ( a choice of chicken or beef for main course) and everyone was very happy with their meal. The facilities are great for all ages with a games and toys room and a play area with a swing, slide and climbing frame in the garden which our children enjoyed. Other members of our family had visited on the Friday night and they were very satisfied with the meals and service they received too. Thank you for contributing to a lovely weekend.
