The best restaurants serving British food in Long Clawson and Stathern Melton East Midlands

Recent Sunday visit to Dove Cottage tea room. Good menu with a great range of freshly prepared hot and cold snacks, cakes and drinks. Friendly, efficient service, clean and a nice garden!

Lovely setting but the quality of the food really wasn’t good and some of the fusion with meat and fruit was odd. Every course smelled the same. The wine flight was also a bit of an acquired taste and not very much of it. Once the staff realised we didn’t like it then we did feel a little bit unloved as customers.

Great food Great prices Great portions Great staff Had the double fish and chips, and it was 2 whole fillets of fish MASSIVE and tasted Great.

Lovely pub, amazing lunch. Clean plates say it all - strongly recommend the pie of the day
