Had small fish special, fish was disgusting, not cod or haddock it was some cheap fish like pollock. Peas were not cooked dome were still hard and chips were gritty . Nit nice at all . The batter on the fish was soggy thin and tasteless.

Stayed for the excellent band. Well recommended.

Ordered gammon for wife and I had steak Mine was no problem Çhef stood next to barman while I ordered and was watching order,place empty,no peas,meal came out with peas so sent back,burnt pineapple ring and hard egg yolk

Popped in for a quick lunch, nothing quick (or particularly decent) about it! Had to take back a toffee nut latte as it wasn't very nice, tasted burnt. They did make a new one that was much nicer though so maybe a fault with the machine first time round. Waited 45mins for our order of beer battered fish and chips (the fish was very overdone) and a fish finger ciabatta. No apology on how long it took for our food to be served, and the chips were just about warm when we eventually did receive our food. Won't be returning or recommending based on this experience.

Excellent food with good friends. Service good. Christmas festive menu was very good. Very good value for the price. Nice selection.

¡Premiado pescado con papas fritas! Tengo que estar de acuerdo, esto obtiene mi premio como el peor pescado con papas fritas de todos los tiempos, el pescado regular era diminuto, más carne en un dedo de pescado a vista de pájaro, masa crujiente empapada, las papas fritas estaban pálidas y duras sin cocer y parecen estar hechas de papas recalentadas.

Literally the best chippy around. Started going here in the last year and the food is always fantastic. Great portions, staff are friendly. Don't know what I did before I ordered from here!

Fuimos a tomar un café. El personal parecía amable. Mi nombre no fue llamado cuando mis cafés estaban listos y no había leche en el Americano blanco. Los cafés se hicieron bastante rápido para decir lo ocupado que estaba. El lugar parecía bastante limpio.
