Sainsbury's Café in Lincoln

Overcharged for items , then some of order not added and a sausage and bacon bap then arrived as a sandwich as no baps left !

Popped in for a quick lunch, nothing quick (or particularly decent) about it! Had to take back a toffee nut latte as it wasn't very nice, tasted burnt. They did make a new one that was much nicer though so maybe a fault with the machine first time round. Waited 45mins for our order of beer battered fish and chips (the fish was very overdone) and a fish finger ciabatta. No apology on how long it took for our food to be served, and the chips were just about warm when we eventually did receive our food. Won't be returning or recommending based on this experience.

45 minute wait for food despite the cafe only having 7 or 8 people in it.

Rubbish, short staffed, 45min wait for food, many menu items & hot drinks not available. Last time we came there was no food available. This is the final visit.

Had a lovely breakfast which was hot and tasted great. The staff were friendly and wasn’t waiting long.

Literally every time I go there, they’re out of something. Went there for the last time today.

Terrible service, got a pannini just slapped on a plate no side salad. Ordered 2 teas had to put my own teabag in asked for skimmed milk the person serving slapped a carton in front of me. I won't be coming back standards are terrible, you would get better service at a homeless shelter.

Disgusting breakfast. Should be ashamed to put half cooked sausages, solid eggs, cold bacon on a plate. Honestly the most awful experience as couldn't even drink Raspberry and Pomegranate lemonade as had a big lump of frozen fruit stuck in it!

It's rare that we use the cafe and every time we do it's just shocking, the staff are really rude and so unfreindly and misserable, one lady in particular 3:30 today just got a huff and grunted at that there's no hot food now and walked off, didn't even bother speaking to us or trying to take an order for drinks so we left. Won't be giving them the time of day or our money in future, one time to many I'm afraid.

Love the supermarket and the cafe. Lovely atmosphere and much better food than the other supermarkets including Waitrose.

Not as much of a selection as they use to have especially toasties and paninis and most times I've been there around 1 to 2pm very little left out to choose from. Not a bad place but don't use it as often as I use too

The English breakfast is yummy and there is variety of options to choose from!!! Staff were very helpful and friendly!!!! Excellent services we had.

Slow service, stingy portions and everytime I order something I have to go back and get it corrected. Last time I go to sainsburys cafe in Lincoln. There are so many better places to eat.

Came here the other week with my baby and toddler, ordered food for toddler and a baby cino for her while i enjoyed my coffee. And cake.. Nice

Very slow service even outside busy period. One person running till, orders and making coffee is not enough. 10 minutes to serve 3 people is too slow and not the fault of the lady doing ALL the work.... Just insufficient staff. Food OK.

Not a lot of choice and no coffee machine working, what they did have was 30 to 40 minutes wait and no kids lunch boxes

Cheap and cheerful. The summer kids eat free has been a blessing. Food portions are small but prices are not bad given the current financial climate.

Met a friend at the cafe and won't go again I can't understand how 1 tea bag in a mug can cost £1-45 wouldn't mind if it was a pot .I don't like huge mugs as too hard to handle when you have poor hands

Nice food and clean . Only concern is when sanitising the cafe tables it was spray and wipe but sure there needs to be a contact time for the sanitiser....just a thought

Usually very good. Can sometimes be very slow at bringing food out due to no leadership and understaffing. Have seen food sat on side waiting to go out for 5 mins before. We have had just warm food before. When it is OK it is a very good place.

Had the Fish and chips for the first time and it was delicious.

Can be a wait at busy times of up to 25 or 30 mins by which time you've drunk your coffee or it's gone cold. But usually service is pretty good and there's a very pleasant chap with a goatee beard who always says enjoy your meal Food is pretty standard but edible and reasonable priced.

The que was long.. the service was painfully slow...and the counter area was filthy..and the staff looked upon you as a inconvenience!! I wouldn't reccomend to anyone unless I disliked them!!!!

Breakfasts are good,with a good selection of breakfast fare.The only thing a bit bad is the fact that there isnt much to choose from if you have to have a glutton free diet

Nice restaurant..quite spacious..nice choices ( scrummy cakes) and pretty good service. Some window tables with view over lake/trees..lift up ..so disabled friendly and toilets next to cafe..

Freezing cold and filthy table and floor,the girl who I asked if she would mind sweeping under our table as looked like a whole cake had been dropped, didnt acknowledge me at all , her face was blank.

I always enjoy my meals in Sainsbury restaurant,the staff keep the tables clean,and are quick to remove used plates etc,my favourite meal is Cottage pie,it's piping hot,I love it,makes my day.

Nice good, clean, lots of choice

Access by escalator or lift if have wheelchair or pram. Serve hot meals although don't always have what advertised but always other hot or cold choices. Seating well spaced out.

Very good only had a pot of tea but even that was good , really nice friendly staff .
