Standard Wetherspoons, decent breakfast, can't complain

Had the ultimate burger and chips, it was tasty and hot very nice relish on the burger too, quick service, friendly staff some of the people in there could do with a wash, especially in the oral department

Cheap'ish n cheerful food, easy to use app, friendly staff but a couple of 10am drunks annoying customers.

Medium score for atmosphere is only because we were there at 0830 for breakfast and barely anyone else was!

It's a good clean spoons. Normal spoons service and a relatively easy to use app.

Love Wetherspoons for saving and restoring iconic buildings and also their great value beers and eats.

Nice building, clean and tidy. We had chicken curry. It's the first Wetherspoon pub we've been in where we were unable to get the meal we wanted. Not the best Wetherspoon curry we've ever had.

Had a pint with my brother before the England game. Took a while to get served.

Food was good, not brilliant but it was on saturday night when it was quite busy with people drinking, but food came out very quickly

In all honesty, cheap drinks are the big appeal for going into this high street pub. Spaced slightly downhill, it boasts character and classic spoons feel with familiar lower-than-most prices. With betting machines, aged decor to fit the theme and functioning facilities it is a adequate venue for many occasions involving a quick drink or occasional rest stop. But frozen products served as food and being called mate by your server is what you can expect, along with having the locals for your company who also enjoy the drinks and lower than average prices.

Nice enough spoons. Quite big. Very art deco inside. Only in for breakfast, coffee cups slow to arrive after ordering on the app. Otherwise all ok food and coffee as expected from spoons

Decent experience. Had the spicy naga burger although it wasn't particularly spicy, I think they may have forgotten the sauce. Even so it was a nice meal and came with a pint for £11 so not bad really. Also in a good location right next to the centre and about 10 min walk from the cathedral.

Went to the Ritz weatherspoons in Lincoln and good service and the staff are very friendly and polite good food and very happy with the service i received 🙂👍

Popped in for breakfast Sunday bit quiet but food as always good and unlimited hot drinks what’s not to like 👍👍

This is the worst wetherspoons I've been in! Twice I've used the app and had to go and collect my drinks as it has taken so long. Asked for a lager top and got a shandy! Had to tell the server how to do a top and got charged 45p for the pleasure. And it's only a Monday night, not even busy. 🤔

It's ok for a wetherspoons, usually go in for a breakfast when I visit Lincoln, I always enjoy it and the coffee is nice. Place could be a bit cleaner, but that's the only negative.

I don’t know if this will do anything but, me and my family when we come here before a Lincoln game. We normally see tables that are not cleaned and with glasses and plates still on. At other Wetherspoons, that we have been to. Staff always clean tables as soon as customers leave.

Only went for a drink with friends. Stayed for one and left.

Aircon was blasting cold air right at us no matter where we sat. Proper put me off

Lovely food clean and tidy pub friendly service

No fault of the serving staff but the new menu is miserly and frankly mockery. Just had the £9.90 sirloin steak and even basic veg is extra now. Not worth the price and the meat was also cooked incorrectly, tough and gristly making the overall experience feel like a waste of money.

Unfortunately, this visit was not the best, a mix up with my order was not helped by an indifferent food server and the programming on the till confused even the helpful staff.

In the UK, there are not many choices of food for Chinese people. In Lincoln, of course, there are a lot of fish and burger restaurants, but very few Chinese restaurants. The other option is spaghetti restaurants, but there are not many. I passed by this store many times and never entered. Finally, we entered the store with a family of four at noon. It turned out that the seats were self-sat and the food was purchased at the bar. The prices in the menu are acceptable and the food tastes good. This restaurant is a surprise for me, because I have another dining option in Lincoln. It’s like discovering a new world😍😍I’m very happy!

Great on a match day when Lincoln are playing. As an away fan always made to feel welcome. Quick service even when busy.

Very disappointed with the food today No chips after ordering a brunch and a burger Girl serving us very good but unfortunately the food was very poor Eggs cooked solid Mash was bland Burger had an end of an onion that you normally throw away Very little bacon but sausages were tasty

I visit a lot of spoons pubs across the country. The Ritz has some of the best serving staff that I have experienced. They are first rate. The food is standard Spoons, but they get the orders right and it's hot on arrival. The two negatives about the Ritz. First of all is the temperature. The place is freezing. Cold drafts from the air conditioner despite it being 8 degrees outside. Thursday and Friday were so cold inside, I had to put my coat on. Finally, the drugs. Dealers working the floor with apparent impunity. Drugs in the toilet and chavs snorting in open view in the gents. Warwick Spoons has a camera in the gents, it is time to install one at the Ritz. It has the worst drug problem of any Spoons I have ever visited.

Service is teenagers with attitude problems only just left an hour ago and i wont be coming back

Large pub close to the city centre. Wide array of drinks available. Plenty of seating but was extremely busy on the Friday night I was there with many people eating (so assume they were running a special deal).

When you have to eat a Luke warm breakfast in your hat n coat, it's cold

A very nice and cozy place to spend an evening. I absolutely loved the food.

Used to be a great place for some food and a pint, now sadly overrated, understaffed and not a pleasant place. If you have a disagreement with another customer, the staff policy is 'no intervention', which means the argument can quickly escalate. Parents can now bring their kids and let them run riot while the parents get sloshed, staff policy, 'no intervention', which suggests ritz don't mind drunk parents lacking parental skills. No door staff anymore, bloke wearing balaclava walks in, looks so obvious he was looking for trouble, staff policy, 'no intervention'. Food orders getting lost, then incorrect food comes out. Their beer festival best suited to lager boys, not much on for real blokes. Staff used to stop and talk to their regulars, but since all the regular decent staff have left, you get robots that have no interest in their customers. All in all, this is an inner city pub that's quickly descended into inner city sink hole that's best avoided. There are better pubs put there which are more likely to be grateful of your hard earned money. Ritz by name only.

A beautiful looking art deco bar the inside the old Ritz cinema. However the very poor service let's the place down. I was working in the area so called in with some colleagues The food is reasonably priced but not of the best quality 2 of the meals were not what we ordered one was sent back to the kitchen and when the correct meal arrived it was cold.

Waited ages to get served so went to loo and left

Had run out of steak about 7pm, and for the fruit salad they had run out of 3 out of 4 fruits

Went to order food, lady behind the bar was rude. I ordered Wiltshire ham and cheddar cheese panini, it definitely was not Wiltshire ham , as for the cheese it was none existent. My friend ordered hallumi and fries all cold. Won't be rushing back.

Decent if you just want some quick grub. Not the best food but not bad either. Service is fairly quick and it seemed clean and was quite chilled not overly crowded or loud.

Very typical 'Spoons! Alright food at good value prices! Very busy on a Friday afternoon so tables were looking a bit grubby but service was quick and food alright and slightly bigger portions than you sometimes get at Wetherspoons.

Usually very friendly staff, AC can be a bit harsh at times, apart from that a good place to go, meet friends and family and the food is generally quite good.

Mixed grill was the worst meal we have ever had. Meat was mostly fat and gristle and over cooked. Peas mixture of old yellow ones and green new stock. Meal just warm. No-one came to ask if food was OK. Total waste of money. Will not be back.

It's a Witherspoon's and I was in there Friday tea time. Weird mix of clientele, as you'd expect. Middle aged couples like us, kids starting early and the sad older men loudly swearing when talking the nonsense only we can...

The Ritz is an institution. A must visit in Lincoln. A revealing insight into the people of Lincoln. 10/10

Food was awful mine was undercooked and cold hubby was tough we asked for medium rare steak..you could say why not complain no point caused this keeps happening its happened before and will happen again ritz can't get it right..

I had a very good meal with Fish n Chips and a pint of lager. The quality was great. I wasn't that satisfied with the pub as it was a little bit dirty. If they fix this issue The Ritz deserves 5 stars.

Went on a match day and it was rammed but they were still serving food and drinks to tables, despite the bar being 3 people deep they were still serving quickly. Definitely recommend it if you are an away fan

Busy for a Monday. I had pannii. Very small, no salad with it.

Good selection of cheapish drinks and a good varied menu. Always fairly busy with a good atmosphere.

Good wetherspoons. A good size with lots of seating. Went there for a meal with the family and lots of variety as expected from spoons. The staff were friendly and polite and will definitely visit again.

I go once a week unless I'm abroad. When go there's a certain member of staff who knows my drink and as soon as I'm spotted ill have it poured unless there's more than just myself at the bar. Its a good place, better now they've taken away that awful Harris fencing.

Food at this spoons has really gone downhill. Also, the mens toilets are like a foul-smelling swimming pool
