Walkabout Lincoln in Lincoln

After previous problems with slow service and wrong orders coupled with cold food in a cold pub; I thought I would try one more time. Took a while to get served, my order couldn't be completed without substitutions and the quality of service was average (being generous). After half an hour my COLD toastie turned up on a split lump of wood with lukewarm chips crushed into a tin can. I never saw another member of staff after my food was dumped on the table, so I never got a checkback or my table cleared afterwards. If you visit to dine; lower your expectations, no, lower than that, no lower still; and you might be slightly disappointed rather than hugely disappointed. January 2022 update: Service still slow, beer of mediocre quality and still a cold pub. Update 30/6/22: Fast service. Friendly staff. Though, I did observe door supervisors with no badge visible and it was very quiet, even for a Thursday. May 2025: Service was fast and friendly with a good range of drinks available.

More beer on the floor than in glasses you just stick to it. Hygiene not their priority I guess , Give it a miss

Nipped in for a quick pint and a burger. Service was polite and the good came swiftly enough and tasted real good.

Had a great time here both at night and during the day. Megan was wonderful on both occasions and the prices are great - can't recommend it enough if you are ever near and it's a welcome change from London prices!

The food menu had a wide variety something for everyone! The drinks can be a bit pricey on normal nights but quizz and half off drinks on a sunday are definitely worth it! Rhiannon and Josh both help to make a quick drink and helpful when trying to decide what to order with suggestions.

Went for Bottomless with my friends and the service from Megan T was phenomenal. Super down to earth, efficient, helpful and smiley. A credit to the staff! Made the experience amazing and got plenty of drinks in :) Friend had a peanut allergy and it was dealt with brilliantly and professionally.

I gave them a 5 star because of the good music and energetic vibes the place has. They really need to work on the cleanliness of the place. Drinks split on the ground gets unattended which is a risk of skip and fall for people dancing around. Also the tables are hardly cleared up when people leave.

I came here to try out the new bottomless brunch. The meal and the drinks menu was at a good standard, although the passion fruit drinks didn't come with a slice of fruit, the service was fast and we were never left waiting. Excellent value in comparison to how much drinks cost, thanks MeganT.

Was a busy place. Service was as quick as they could. Good prices.

Had food here a couple times and its been alright. Bar service can take a while when busy but that's to be expected. The bouncers/door staff are awful. Got kicked out because a thick bouncer said my friend was "too drunk". He was on his 2nd drink of the night, and showed NO signs of intoxication at all. We think this is the staff trying to remove lads to get more girls in. On a separate ocassion, they refused my girlfirend entry as she could not list the other places we'd been to that night (as a sobriety test). She's not local and it was her first night out in Lincoln so did not know the places well at all, not to mention she has ADHD, which impacts her working memory. So they basically discriminated against her, which is pretty shocking. PLEASE change the door staffing standards of the place. People will find it more enjoyable.

Mason was absolutely sick. First bottomless with walkabout and there was 11, he absolutely smashed everything out the park. Fun , bubbly, interactive. Just an absolute credit to the business, promote this gorgeous man !!

Proper sticky floor place, full of weirdos and creepy blokes hanging around and grabbing at women too, bouncers just standing around inside and not doing anything. Spoke to someone giving out flyers in the street when we left and she said "Yeah Lincoln is full of creeps that's what it's like here"

Incredibly sticky floor on entry (at about 4pm on a Sunday) should not be a feature as it was all the way through to the bar and upstairs to the toilets.

international sensation dj rich brown slays every weekend. came in early one friday for a bite to eat and it blew my mind. would recommend the mac and cheese chips to everyone. it is the place to be

Me & my fella had food and a few games of pool here. I had Spicy N'duja Fries and he had a burger! The place was quieter than usual but the service was still on point, Mason delivered our food with a smile and he obviously is an asset to the team here. The food was very good, full of flavour and the place was clean. Would recommend Walkabout, even with the big TV's, sports are her for the fans. Just wish there was Air-conditioning upstairs, but had a good time!

It used to be a staple establishment on any night out.... But as I'm now always the designated driver (because I'm sooo old now haha) it's completely different seeing it with sober eyes. It is now unfortunately the last resort bar
