Best place for burgers and loaded fries!

Whilst moored up near Limekiln area of Oxford Canal we took a half hour walk up into the town to get fish & chips for lunch. Ordered cod (and mistakenly in retrospect) large chips to take away. We had to wait for cod to be cooked fresh (which we don’t mind). It was when the guy took this large metal dinner plate as a scoop to serve the chip portion. I was already thinking that I should have hammond small as it was way more than normally get at home town chip shops. However when he went in for a second snd appeared to be going back for at least part of the 3rd scoop I stopped him from adding anymore and suggested he going take some off as didn’t want to waste them He said the one dinner plate portion was small. I gave a 4 rather than 5 bd side the chips were a little undercooked to how we like them. Others might think they were perfect.

Good food and price plenty of it freshly cooked but like all good thongs you have to wait as its freshly cooked fish

I’ve visited previously but never took any photos. Unlimited breakfast meals are becoming scarce, so I’m delighted that I’ve found one that isn’t too far away from home. It’s a help-yourself breakfast place. The food is nice for the money you pay. The menu has a selection of hot food, continental, and hot and cold drinks. You can’t complain for £10.99; it is money-saving and delightful.

soggy greasy fish, reformed scampi horrible tar tar sauce I'm local and visit sometimes but it really has gone done hill i will not be returning

Delivery was over an hour late from the original time stated and the food was stone cold after what should have been just over a 5 minute drive.

Small KFC, it's ok for a pit stop, I know the prices have gone up everywhere, The prices here now far too high for what you get.. even the amount of fries, chicken looks reduced. The food was ok.. I guess you can't pay cash any longer as we were told to use the self-serve machine...

Excellent food and service for dinner and breakfasts, the staff deserve a special mention especially Olivia and the other lady serving on Friday night, very personable and first class customer service skills. Best steak I’ve eaten for a long time, if we are ever back this way will definitely drop in again.
