Poor takeaway tonight. Stale poppadoms. Chutney leaked over the other orders. Tikka masala was the worst I've had locally. Used to rate these but not on this occasion.

What a great evening service and food second to none big thank you for what you did for our niece the little mocktail was lovely she was over the moon

Best Burger in town, always outstanding quality

Whilst moored up near Limekiln area of Oxford Canal we took a half hour walk up into the town to get fish & chips for lunch. Ordered cod (and mistakenly in retrospect) large chips to take away. We had to wait for cod to be cooked fresh (which we don’t mind). It was when the guy took this large metal dinner plate as a scoop to serve the chip portion. I was already thinking that I should have hammond small as it was way more than normally get at home town chip shops. However when he went in for a second snd appeared to be going back for at least part of the 3rd scoop I stopped him from adding anymore and suggested he going take some off as didn’t want to waste them He said the one dinner plate portion was small. I gave a 4 rather than 5 bd side the chips were a little undercooked to how we like them. Others might think they were perfect.

Went for Sunday lunch. Food was great and staff very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Good food and price plenty of it freshly cooked but like all good thongs you have to wait as its freshly cooked fish

I reluctantly returned to this hotel for a second time, as our first visit in 2023 was marred by the absence of heating during the middle of winter. However, I must emphasise that this issue was promptly addressed and rectified. On our second visit, it’s important to remember that you pay for what you get. We typically stay at Premier Inns for most of our travels, as they offer a sense of familiarity and comfort. Unfortunately, this particular hotel failed to meet our expectations. The room was incredibly outdated, of poor quality, and noisy. The headboard felt like it had come from a play pit, while the rest of the room seemed to have been recycled. There will not be a 3rd visit. On a positive note, the hotel did provide ample parking spaces, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Carvery piping hot and beautifully cooked

Salad was fresh, kebab meat was nice and not greasy, but a few of the chips were a bit burned. Not the biggest portions, but not too bad for the price.

Had a great time here food came out fast and was still hot and I would also like to feature our amazing server Paul. he is an amazing server anytime we come he is always greeting us with a smile and he is very friendly he is never afraid to help us with anything and he is very kind would recommend and Paul needs a raise 🙌🙌

The driver stopped at McDonalds on the way to wait for another order so our food was late and a bit cold

Really friendly staff ,and good food ,they go out of there way to make sure I had everything I wanted and more ,we had a great time
