Strathmore Road Fish Bar in Hinckley and Bosworth

My experience now for the 3rd time has been amazing excellent customer service cleanliness and great food also they had a seating dining area which I thought was nice overall very very happy to come back

I go here regularly and find the food fine for a chippy..cooked to order mainly,which can seem a pain,but it maintains a quality.

The food is really good, I have been a customer there a lot, But i went in this evening, and my order came to £9.50 and was told that you needed to spend ten pounds for a card payment, who has cash anymore ? he said he would except it this time. A customer came in after me, their order came to £7 and he didnt say anything to them just took the card payment,, even though hed just told me i need to spend £10. I wont be going there again, The staff started speaking there own language and laughing , i just got the feeling, they were not saying nice things about their customers.

The food is al;ways prepared fresh, on order, making for an excellent quality fast food, when especially required.

Not bad at all! Enjoyed the fish and chips. My son loves the nuggets and chips and my partner loved his mixed kebab. Very good portions! Friendly over the phone when placing orders.

Cooked fresh to order when you arrive. The fish is always superb along with nice chips and mushy peas.

Been here many times as we live locally. Always excellent food and service. Having tried all the other chip shops around,definitely the best in Hinckley.

What an ambitious menu and opening hours. Everything from breakfast through any other feeding needed in the day. Service is prompt, the quality is excellent - it does what you expect a chap shop to do, and more.

Food is great, chips 99% of the time are the best, just the odd time they are not up to scratch. Good chips from chip shops are rare. The pricing is good and the portion size for chips is amazing.

Great little chippy, always busy but always quick to serve you, our first choice chippy in Hinckley..

Everybody is friendly. Food is to die for, portions huge. Would recommend to anybody. My favourite is there Cod always cooked fresh and to perfection. It's so big I have to cut it in half to fit on my plate. Would never go anywhere else.

best chippie in the area - cooked fresh and big portions. chicken kebabs are great . highly recommended

Fresh cooked fish & chips, kebabs, chicken, suasages, pies, etc. Always well presented and good portion sizes. Well worth a visit.
