Premier Inn Hinckley hotel in Hinckley and Bosworth

I reluctantly returned to this hotel for a second time, as our first visit in 2023 was marred by the absence of heating during the middle of winter. However, I must emphasise that this issue was promptly addressed and rectified. On our second visit, it’s important to remember that you pay for what you get. We typically stay at Premier Inns for most of our travels, as they offer a sense of familiarity and comfort. Unfortunately, this particular hotel failed to meet our expectations. The room was incredibly outdated, of poor quality, and noisy. The headboard felt like it had come from a play pit, while the rest of the room seemed to have been recycled. There will not be a 3rd visit. On a positive note, the hotel did provide ample parking spaces, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Room was good size and clean although needed a little refresh. Wasn't told though that needed to book a table / time slot for breakfast, so was told wasn't space when I went. No milk alternative (oat or soya) provided either

First time here and Benny who is the cute receptionist was really helpful and really polite I highly recommend him

Lady on reception lovely, we were too early to check in but went to restaurant for a drink. Room lovely staff exceptional. Benny on reception was so helpful when we could not get water from machine and managed to sort it! Thank you 😀would stay here again 💯

A few problems but sorted without fuss.

Not the best of welcomes, and when I enquired about getting a refund of breakfast due to running late, was told to go over there! No invite to book a table for evening meal or breakfast, staff outside having a cigarette when people were waiting. Not a good place at all.

As per a premier inn should be Room fine Service fine Breakfast accross at the pub fine Use regularly for business trips

Upon arrival we were greeted by Jay who was absolutely magic for myself and partner who spent 3 days there. He is an absolute delight and went above and beyond. Highly rated!

Clean and fresh looking excellent service fantastic food at neighbouring bar restaurant

A standard Premier Inn though the long corridor to our room was reminiscent of The Shining! Good location next to the marina and canal, breakfast food at next door Brewers Fayre very reasonable though sometimes rather overrun with kids.

I have stayed here on a number of occasions, it’s in a lovely location next to the canal. This time we were greeted by a polite, chatty, cheerful young man, who booked us in quickly and efficiently. There was only one extra bed in the room tho we’d booked for two for my grandchildren and he quickly arranged for one to be set up. The room was lovely and spacious, very quiet on a night time and of the usual good standard of the premier inn brand. We will be back again..

Just what you'd expect from a PI. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

Rooms need proper Aircon rather than a fan. Other than that are clean big and good showers. Location great by canal nice for a quiet drink on a summer's evening.

loved the pot noodles. curtain broke but we fixed it. staff were very friendly and helpful. please add a lift so we don’t have to lug our suitcases up the stairs. thanks y’all xx

Not far from the centre good only cost about £8 to get to the centre in taxi. Nice pub and eating at the on site pub.

This was a recce run as due to my wifes serious shoulder injury, we need to stay whilst our house is decorated. Having explained the situation the staff ensured we were allocated an appropriate room and that all our needs are met. Reassured my wife and I look forward to a pleasant stay next week and with the weather set fair a relaxing time by the canal.drink in hand.

First time here. Hotel was clean, room was clean. Staff were friendly. Really long corridor to your room.

came up to get me and my girlfriend a hotel room was turned away because they said ‘we arent hosting a party’ very rude staff and very disrespectful especially considering me and my girlfriend had no where else to stay

Pretty much what you expect from a Premier Inn. Clean room, and a decent bathroom, no loose taps etc. There were many rooms along one ground floor corridor, so good for access, but tedious with heavy bags. Convenient location for arriving by car, with decent parking. Brewer's Fayre adjacent, menu provided in room. It was fully booked with an hour's wait. Petrol station also adjacent, with decent prices at time of visit. Stayed 1 night.

-1 for twin room side bed not ready -1 for one key not working (receptionist try 3 times) -1 for breakfast, main thing what I expect is coffee. Ok coffee machine can get broke, but last time I was in same hotel last Thursday and coffee machine wasn't working as well. So for £140 i expect bed's ready, keys working and coffee at the morning. Thanks

This is a great Premier Inn, it has everything that you would expect from one, however the room didnt come with a sheet or duvet cover for the child's bed in a family room. There was also a charity box to get some duck food to feed the ducks on the neighbouring canal. The charity was Great Ormond Street. Staff were friendly and happy to be of assistance.

I just want to thank Claire Hextall and the other staff that were very kind to me on this visit. 18/04/2024. We came up for a funeral, the kindness and compassion was very much appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I work away regularly as I'm an Engineer and often stay in Premier inn's. They are always good but I have to say the Hinckley branch is the best I've been to. The room is very clean and tidy, large sized with a large bathroom, I'm 6ft 8 so the size of rooms can really make a difference. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, especially Stevie who couldn't do enough to ensure my stay was the best it possibly could be. Will be highly recommending to friends and family.

Nice and clean. Very easy check in/out and free parking. No complaints.

Excellent location, just by the river canal

Great hotel with lovely helpful staff. We stayed in room 1 for several weeks while our bungalow was being refurbished, it was lovely and clean, beds changed when we wanted and also clean towels...it was never an issue. Stevie and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome too. Lovely views over the canal with the Marina pub next to the hotel serving great food.

I Tried to book 4 rooms on line for this hot couldn't sort i went down to the hotel and Steve sorted it all for me.Thank you rooms booked 👍 great service 👍

Hotel was very clean. Staff was lovely and very helpful. I need to take the bed home, it was an amazing night's sleep.

Can not praise Steven and his wonderful team enough.I have stayed for a few weeks.Everyone of the staff is so helpful and friendly all the time.Nothing is to much trouble. Highly recommend
