Tung Hing in Hinckley and Bosworth

Fantastic, freshly cooked dishes. Definitely my favourite Chinese takeaway in the area. My favourite dishes are the squid, special appetisers and satay sauce. Lady who takes the orders is very friendly and helpful and the food is usually prepared quickly ☺️

I cannot describe in words how good this restaurant is now it has a brand-new chef. The food is absolutely delicious. Always comes piping hot and full of flavour and very fresh. The only restaurant takeaway that I can actually pay by my card also which is a great help seriously guys I will not use any other Chinese in the whole of Leicestershire now this one as their new chef don’t read this. Please try it and see for yourselves, today The restaurant people even chucked me in some free food thank you guys. Love from shaz see u next week xx

The food here is absolutely amazing everytime, new chef is a brilliant cook and the price is brilliant. The only chinese in shilton where I can also pay on my card. Highly recommend the food is delicious, staff are very friendly too.

My own fault I guess.. I just made the mistake of having an English dish... DONT. Just poor frozen deep fried scarabs of meat ..... and dead chips in old oil . .... sorry I couldn't help further but not even a reply . I've tried other dishes and some good some not so... think perhaps its a delete on this one. 🤔

Ordered special fried rice with no prawns, but arrived with prawns , rang up and politely asked for a replacement, was verbally abused on the phone and told they don’t want our business anymore, after using this service for 8 years or more

Disgusting behaviour. Ordered a dish and asked for no shrimp came with shrimp rang them and asked for replacement to be verbally abused and told we are not to order again after using them for 8+years. No customer service whatsoever disappointed as always use this establishment and have always recommended to friends and family but will not be doing so anymore

100% best Chinese in area. We literally tried all of them, none come close to these guys, we won’t go anywhere else now

Was struggling to find a descent Chinese takeaways in the area as had lots of very disappointing meals. We tried Tung Hing and had a beautiful meal. It arrived on time, was piping hot and tasted lovely. Will absolutely use them again.

The best Chinese restaurant in ealr shilton they cook the food properly it is always piping hot and it always comes on time I am very impressed and would only recommend this restaurant to anyone in early shilton

I ordered my food at 10:15pm and was told it would be 30-40 mins. The food was at the door within 5-7 mins which means it was definitely not cooked fresh which tbf I think is the very least people want. Saying that tho it was just about eatable except for the chips. They was more like concrete but hey ho we live and learn I guess

Ah! A really good one at last! Having been so disappointed by several other Earl Shilton / Barwell takeaways recently, Tung Hing have scored 5 star from us on two occasions so far and we won't go anywhere else anymore. Very good. Would recommend. Ordered Sweet & sour chicken, salt & chilli chicken, noodles & chips tray with curry sauce, fried rice and prawn crackers. Everything was absolutely spot on!

Great food but can be got and miss sometimes

Went to see a show at the pub nearby so went to here after, I was impressed how fast they brought the food out considering when I ordered,there was 4 people in front. Food was delicious! Brought it back home and it was still really hot. I live in Nuneaton but I will definitely be coming back here again

Decent food, good delivery but like the other gripes I have with the locals, it's all cash. Can we move out of the dark ages and try offer card transactions?

We travel from hinckley to here specially for the crispy beef in chilli/capital sauce. Nowhere in local area does it quite like here. We found collecting a lot quicker if you can get through, your talking about 10 mins whereas delivery can be up to an hour. To be fair on the shredded beef alone itsa 5/5 for me. Chips crunchy like they should be. Never had any problems at all 😎

We have ordered from here regularly since moving to the area last year and we have never been disappointed. Customer service has always been excellent. Tofu can be hit and miss but from Tung Hing it has always been very nice 👍🏼 Delivery is always faster than expected and the delivery staff are always friendly ☺️ Definitely recommend the chilli salt chips 🌶

Have used for years! Manager is such a lovely person and is always happy to see us. Do the best special fried rice ever!! We moved to ibstock for a while and still used this place! Happy to be back in the area and will continue to use. Xxx

We have been ordering from tung Hing now for many years. We are yet to receive a meal we are unhappy with. The food is always without fail exceptional quality. Fresh, piping hot and delicious. If anything the food continues to get better.

The food was good, but what has let this down was the delivery driver. my partner answered the door as I walked back with the cash, all of a sixty second wait. He drove up the road and demanded more money than the order. When I asked for the correct change he threw it out of the window of his car. Sorry Tung Hing, your food deserves more but you delivery driver has let you down massively

I visited this shop for the first time this week and did not enjoy my experience. The food was average and the staff are very abrupt which is not to my liking.

Absolutely amazing Cantonese food... having lived in Chengdu, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau, eaten traditional street food and the very best restaurants too, I’m a tad picky about takeaways in the UK, as all Asian food is to appease the British palette. This takeaway is the best I’ve had in the UK, utterly excellent, very fresh, very well cooked, beautiful, totally recommend this wonderful takeaway.

Lovely and fresh with lots of flavour. Prices are not that bad. Will use again. Free prawn crackers aswell so thats a bonus.

This Chinese is really a great find. There aren't many in the area of Stoney Stanton that can provide quality food, great portions, and a great price, but Tung Hing manages to deliver on all three! The house special fried rice is a personal favourite, which comes with a fantastic sauce that really brings the dish together. They also do a great chow mein, and the prawn crackers bag you receive will take you a few days to get through!

Food not as good as it used to be

Excellent food . Always friendly - was terrible until the new guy took over last year . Always my first choice local Chinese ...

We've used this place for over a decade and never had a duff experience! They're very quick and food is always really tasty. A sign of a good take-away is how busy they are... and Tung Hing are seem busy.

There's a few Chinese restaurants in earl shilton, this is our favourite, the chicken balls are ace, the chips aren't great, we usually get chips from the chippy if we want chips with our Chinese meal, but never once had a bad meal. The guy that runs it is really sweet and a nice guy

I used this because it was Tuesday and nowhere else was open. Without doubt the worst Chinese takeaway I've had. Tasteless, tough, overcooked (possibly reheated from previous day). I may end up in A&E.
