A most enjoyable experience in the Tower Cafe. Very inviting and friendly atmosphere. All staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks are always very fresh and enjoyable. Looking forward to our next visit with our little granddaughter.

I’ve visited a few times but most recently with a few friends and even though it was really busy, we were served quickly and the food was amazing. We all ordered 3 small plates each but couldn’t resist trying a bit of each other’s as they looked immense. Deffo recommend a visit, the albondigas are insane

Been meaning to try this little Greek find for a couple of years and last night I finally did and it didn’t disappoint!! There were 4 of us dining celebrating our friends birthday and we love our food, there was so much to choose from we found it hard to decide what to have! We opted for olives, hummus, halloumi fries and calamari to share and then we had chicken gyros, substantial portions that we really struggled to finish it all but we powered through as it was to tasty to leave 😂 The waitress was super helpful on arrival, asked if we’d been before and none of us had…she explained it’s all cooked to order and comes as and when it’s ready, fortunately the sides we wanted to share came before the gyros to tide us over so worked out well as a starter. We didn’t have to wait long for the sides to come and not long after we finished, our gyros soon followed. The food portions again were good sizes, hot and really tasty with a good amount of dips to accompany them. The service was fab, especially the lady with dark hair who served us, she went above and beyond so Thankyou for making our first experience fantastic and we will definitely be back 😌

This is the perfect village pub. The change in ownership has been a breath of fresh air and the refurbishment has been carried out to the highest standard. This is the perfect place to call on for a well deserved pint or two

Friendly welcome! But! I feel so mad I didn’t take photos of our meals! We ordered the tuna mayo baguette Philly steak baguette & a cheese pickle sandwich all with chips which were 79p extra each! There was no more than ten frozen chips! The Cheese pickle which was advertised of having white bloomer! Turned out to be to thin sliced bread with hardly any grated cheese! £8.29 + 79p Terrible! There was hardly any filling in the cheese steak bake! For how long we waited for what a child could have put together! The bitter wasn’t up to standard either! Such a shame nice dog friendly place! Will not be visiting again!

Great breakfast in a friendly place with a lovely atmosphere. The large full English breakfast is great value for money! Although we didn't have any this time, the cakes and scones look delicious so will be back soon for a slice.

We celebrated my birthday with a champagne breakfast at The Dovecote and oh Wow what a breakfast!! The food was excellent, the attention to detail superb. The staff were so friendly and attentive, providing us with top ups of champagne, orange juice and toast. The whole experience was faultless and was such a memorable way to celebrate. ❤️

I’ve just had a lamb and mint pie from Barry fitch butcher’s it must be the best pie I’ve ever had. I will be there next Saturday to get a couple more

Lovely food, good service, reasonably priced. Very happy with the meal as were all of our party. Friendly staff. I'm looking forward to going back again

Food was of a very good standard and really tasty- I had the roast beef and the vegetables were lovely and cooked to perfection- thank you
