Not only did we get to celebrate the launch of the new Blok BBQ shop—which was absolutely incredible—but we also had the chance to preview our custom-made grills and accessories! Head down to the shop for everything you could possibly need, from their beautiful Blok grills to bespoke knives and more. If you’re lucky, you might even catch them grilling up a delicious feast right in the shop!”

Absolutely everything you need under one roof from bbq’s to smokers. The knives are incredible they work wonders with resin! All products sold here are top notch and have a good quality feel. Needless to say that high end products come with a high price tag but custom touches are worth every penny. Keep up the good work fella’s 👊

For all your BBQ needs… this is the place! The team at Blok helped design and then build my BBQ, they even personalised it for me too. I also have some custom made knives, burger press and an apron - for me it’s the individuality of each item - they are unique. The best bit though, is the team at Blok. They are genuinely into their customers and really want to share in the experience. I AM A FAN.

Fantastic store with a great selection of culinary delights, great vibe and friendly staff. A great range/selection of knives and bbqs, from small to large. Some of the engineering on the bespoke bbqs is definitely worth having a look at. Being an owner of both a Blok knife and bbq I can vouch for the quality and craftsmanship that goes in to each item Would recommend a trip out just for curiosity sake, if nothing else. There is something for everyone.

This is Derbyshires BBQ gem! Wide range of quality fuels available for open bbq-ing or if you want to do some smoking. I’ve brought both cherry and oak wood with great results. I’ve also brought some of the rubs for brisket and the spice powders for adding to anything. Ben provides a wealth of knowledge in how to go about getting the best results out of your bbq and always has some form of food on the go demonstrating his products for you to trial. I haven't brought one of bloks self-designed bbq’s yet, but Xmas is on its way! If you’re serious about bbq’s, look no further. 10/10. Note: Pictures are from attending the opening party.

We recently visited the Blok BBQ Shop - the newly opened retail outlet for the world-renowned (Derbyshire based) manufacturer of the highest quality cooking equipment. If you like the best knives that money can buy and cooking on fire you'll been seventh-heaven at Blok. Cliché it may be, but Blok are way more than the sum of their parts. They make stuff that reminds us that life should be tasty and fun, whilst crafting works of art that are as practical as they are beautiful. Pay them a visit to see these friendly lads and their resident dogs Abby and Rosie. Don't forget your credit-card as you'll struggle to leave empty handed. 10/10 for Blok. Go visit. Had an amazing time at the opening day of the shop. Bens passion for what he creates was evident throughout the afternoon. His teams effort to showcase his products and of those he collaborates with made it a fantastic experience. If you like cooking outdoors, this is the place to visit. From ready available off the shelf pizza ovens to bespoke creations pop in and take a look......Well done Blok.

Aladdin’s cave of wonders for anyone that is into BBQ, cheffing or just a pyromaniac :). The staff are very passionate about their work and it shows in the product. If you haven’t been… you NEED TO!

Amazing space you get to see the true craft of what these guys are doing from their knives to fore cages and Japanese grills. I don't think there isn't anything they cant turn their hands to. With a spinkle of some great brands it’s going to be a great destination for the area. They have something for every budget

What a wonderful experience. A truly unique visit with friends. The food was delicious and the best ribs and brisket we have ever tasted, just divine. A fabulous chilled out atmosphere with great music and all the staff were very friendly and we had great service. Also must mention gorgeous Abbie the dog! Loved it here and would definitely visit again.

A unique dining experience. The venue was a converted warehouse very well decorated with long tables and benches. The staff were very friendly and the music was good. The food was cooked outside the unit on a large smoker by a man who know how to smoke food. The ribs and brisket were perfect in fact all the food was very good. We will be going back again

The food was chefs kiss! Everything was cooked to perfection. Desserts were amazing. Service was great and they have the cutest dog ever! Definitely recommend anyone to go here!

I booked this place several weeks head, venue as expected was a small industrial unit, but inside was warm and had a very cool vibe. Music was great and the servers were interesting and friendly, I loved the story of the knife makers and You Tubers and the bar was well stocked ... although I was on Dry January. Food was served on a plastic tray, and was pretty good except the ribs that were under cooked, and were coved in an acrid smoky glaze that we all thought very unpleasant. So on the whole £30 seemed a bit rich for what we recieved and there is room for improvement for sure.

Brought the brother in law and his mrs, second time I’ve been and was impressive as the first! Great atmosphere and the smoke was incredible! Class knife porn on display as well

really really loved our night here, although i had to drive as our taxi never turned up i really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food and my husband enjoyed the local beer...there was plenty of food on the tray and it was all delicious...hope to be back soon

The food is amazing, delicious and tasty! Love the plate that is served up, all my favorite cuts! Local beers on draft, some from the microbrewery next door. The whole team are brilliant, it's such a vibe. Can't recommend highly enough.

The unassuming large red roller shutter door on a small industrial estate, in little Eaton, wouldn't be my first choice for sit-down BBQ food in Derby, however, the large custom-built smoker outside does hint at the delights that await within. Once through the door there's a collection of tables and chairs covering an eclectic decorated warehouse floor with a small bar at one end and the other a professional kitchen. Once seated large trays of delicious BBQ smoked meats, brisket, turkey, pulled pork and ribs are presented with a selection of accompaniments pickles, onions, coleslaw, brioche bread, home made BBQ sauce and of course smoked pit beans, all washed down with local (literally 5 doors away) brewed beers. If I imagined what eating authentic Texas smoked BBQ would be this would be vision from start to finish (apart from the weather this is Derby after all) overall an excellent experience, polite staff, as diverse as the place itself, great food, and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Went to the Blok knives smokehouse as something different with a few friends. Absolutely brilliant, great atmosphere , beer was excellent and the bar well priced so felt good. Now to the food, the meat was superb, all of it incredibly tender, the beef just melted in your mouth, it was spot on and the pickles/veg were just right as accompaniments.. Really good social night out, the staff were all dead friendly so in reality this is somewhere we will be going again. Great idea , excellent value, fantastic execution.

Visited with a big group on a sunny afternoon. They had some tables outside but we needed to bring more chairs out from inside. The food was tasty but I would have expected a bigger portion for £30. A different dining experience. Probably wouldn’t return.

Great venue, great food and great fun! My partner and I went for the first time on Saturday evening. We loved the set up, the casual nature of it all and how you felt like you were right in the heart of things as the food was being prepared out in front. The food itself was really good and we were stuffed! The only shame about that was that we had no space to eat the desserts which looked amazing. If you like your Texas/smokehouse style food I would highly recommend this place. We’ll be back for sure.

As a keen lover of smoked meat and a smoker myself I thoroughly enjoyed what Blok had on offer. A variety of smoked meats with traditional texas sides. The venue is amazing, small but perfect. The whole ethos of how they serve and the setting...

Meat feast! Food here is unreal! Our platter consisted of brisket, pork ribs, Turkey and pulled pork shoulder plus all the trimmings. Honestly can’t fault any of it, it was stunning. Loved the relaxed feel to it as well. We will be back very soon!

The food is outstanding. The attention to detail to provide a Texan smokehouse platter is unreal. The brisket and Turkey were definitely my faves along with the Smokey beans! Would recommend this not just for the food but an amazing smokehouse experience!
