The best restaurants in Derby Road East Erewash East Midlands

Heard good reports about the breakfast, absolutely awful, under cooked cheap sausage, bacon never seen a pan, no butter on toast, asked waitress, took another 10mins to bring me fresh buttered toast, brought white, but I ordered brown. No hand towel or wipes in bathroom, asked waitress she said they font have them. Rude owner who replied to a review I made on Google. Yes u do get shiity reviews when ya food and service are crap!!!

Pop by this little place on my lunch breaks for a quick bite ! Fresh ingredients and some lovely homemade cakes:)

Went in for 2 sausage rolls today 03/09/2024, a pleasant visit and was served by a polite and cheerful member of staff .

Would not hesitate to recommend The Olive Pot for a special occasion. From booking to execution of a meal for 10, the service could not have been any better. We were given a large choice of menus from which we chose 3 dishes for each course. The staff arrived on time, dressed the table and cooked and served the most amazing meals. The quality of the food was excellent and cooked to perfection. I would go so far as to say it was some of best I'd had in a very long time... and plenty of it. After we had finished everything was left spotless. I really don't k so how they did it, but it made an auspicious occasion very special. Thank you.

Ordered from here before with no problems but was very disappointed tonight with how late the delivery was. Especially being lied to by the restaurant saying the food would be 5 mins and then the delivery driver contacting me saying they had only just left.

Lovely Nepalese food.Plenty of choice, and good portion size.Very friendly staff,always ready to help.My first time there,but I must say I was overwhelmed by the cleanliness of the restaurant, the quick service from the staff, the piping hot food which was colourful, tasty and high quality.I can recommend this restaurant 100%.The staff definitely earned their tip and deserved it.Keep up the quality team.

Waited 100 minutes for a sundae and thry sent the wrong one with caramal which i cant stand. I called the restaraunt they said they would send the cotrect one.....another hour and 30 minutes later they are not answering the phone then putting it down

Food was rubbish overdose chips they where cold overdose korma was undercooked and the nan bread was meant to be garlic nan bread and was cold plain nan bread they said they would deliver with in 30 to 40 minutes but took at least 1 hour and a half then when he came we gave him a £20 note and he had the cheeck to say I don't have change I'll be back in half an hour then when he didn't come we had to phone them. If you want a nice take away go somewhere else

How have I not stumbled on this place? Overheard a friend talking about here so decided to try for the first time. And wow I'm so glad I did, ordered for delivery the mixed meal and houlumi, it arrived fast and hot. Was all presented absolutely perfect in a nice foiled box. I cannot fault this place as a first time customer. I will definitely recommend and will be using this more often.

Party of 12 , alarm bells rang when the waiter said we will only take starter orders for now as to not overwhelm the kitchen , of the 7 who had starters ,1 had to wait 20 minutes for theirs to arrive.On to the mains, 3 burgers were undercooked (pink) and then took a further 40 mins for the replacement burgers to arrive , although a free drink was given to the 3 members who had the issue , nothing was taken off the final bill which was very overpriced with regards to quantity and quality

Long Eaton Costa is always spotlessly clean and the service is friendly and quick. And they make a great flat white.

It was our second visit. The place is very accommodating. I love the decor too. I wish they had a slightly bigger menu, but their flatbread pizzas were ok.

Missing items but contact shop who were very rude saying item was in the bag but it was not took my address and order number and said they will look for it but no contact from them and no kebab sent. Very rude on phone and hung up on me

Not good, had a curry and our party was sick after. Phone to tell them and they didn't care. Usual answer no one else has complained. Can you you prove it was us? No it's in the sewer. No I can't. I've never complained about a local take away before, order, pay and no problem. Would never use again.
