Long Eaton Costa is always spotlessly clean and the service is friendly and quick. And they make a great flat white.

Really polite and friendly staff, they also have outside seating as well. There are two toilets (passcode needed) tables were clean and clear of previous cups.

This place should be commended for its friendly, efficient staff and cleanliness - too many branches of Costa and other chain coffee shops suffer from uncleared or sticky tables, toilets that clearly haven't been checked until the end of the day. Stopped by the Long Eaton store - the place was immaculate, and the coffee hit the spot perfectly. Well done!

A bit of a wait to say they had five staff members working. Limited stock on alternative to milk, especially ultimate blend. Didn't listen to my order correctly, and I had to correct them. Large latte wasn't a full cup and it was more expensive than other Costa coffee shops.

The only problem is the number of people visiting this place. It is a good sign, but whenever I go, it is packed almost completely. If you want to get a fast drink, that's perfect, but if you are planning a visit with a friend, partner, or family, I would recommend other places.

Went into costa as my car broke down so was waiting for the rac I had my brother with me who has terminal brain cancer and cannot walk far but could not sit in the car for a hour he had a medical dog with him I asked the staff if they would allow the dog in they said yes the staff weee very friendly and helpful whilst there excellent service would highly recommend anyone to go in cannot thank them enough

Lovely mix of seating in here, from tables to share with friends, to big comfy chairs on their own to enjoy some quiet time.

On a chilly day when it felt like the entire populace of Long Eaton rotated through the doors at some point, the staff didn't miss a foam speck. Service was delivered with frost-dispelling warmth and the two baristas seamlessly reconfigured our order when I changed my mind about jam and butter with my croissant. New year, new you and all that. Despite a long-ish 11am queue, we had two heated croissants neatly delivered with our cappuccinos. Despite the evidently heavy footfall the shop was spic and span bar a few spent trays here and there. It makes a difference when you're on the road catching up with an old friend. According to a popular red top I consulted after draining my caffeine, his lucky number that day was '7'. The prediction remains to be seen. But feel fortunate to have such a great team in our go-two house of piping hot cappuccinos.

The standards across the board at this Costa are always high. Clean and welcoming the team are always on the ball, in particular Rhys, he works hard is well organised and efficient. He can reduce a long queue with his efficient service really quickly. As well as making each persons visit a pleasant one.

visited today Wednesday 14th June 2023. Been many times over the yeard but 1st time for a while. Long queue, slow service but the cold drinks were nice. we sat near the door and lots of people came in saw the queue and left.A lot of possible sales lost

Such lovely staff, yes it's a big giant corporate chain but the staff make it feel like a little local cafe. I sat in today and the amount of people who came in and staff straight away said "hi *name* usual?" was crazy. It was busy and they just banged out orders, they saw one girl come in and by the time she got to the till she only had to pay and take the tray away as they knew what the whole order would be. They genuinely seem to get on with each other and it's just nice to see Of course if they ask if you want cream or marshmallows in your drink it's going to cost more, why would that be free? It's called up selling. I pay extra for jam with my croissant...... why? Because jam costs money. Yes it's noisy it's a busy vibrant place and making coffee is noisy, it's clean and decent and I don't understand the negative comments.

Terrible experience at Costa Long Eaton! Barista asked if I would like whipped cream and marshmallows with my hot chocolate, however neglected to inform me that it comes at an additional cost! Very sneaky behaviour. Furthermore, the cake was the driest cake I’ve ever eaten, I genuinely struggled to even swallow one mouthful, it was so dry the cake crumbled into little pieces when cut into it. Would give a wide birth! Probably better going to a weatherspoons, and that’s saying something!

It's very noisy in here, not helped by a staff member banging empty milk jugs on the metal counter above the volume of music. The toasties are cooked too long, Saturday's was incinerated to the point the cheese at the edges was burnt. Nice hot drinks, friendly staff, clean surroundings. If you can sort the noise & reduce the cooking temperature /timer, it's great

Usually excellent, nice friendly staff, and coffee always spot on ,but on occasion the order is taken down wrong at the till and always by the Same member of staff, mentioning no names but the lady in questions name starts with H ,need to up your game H and smile a bit !!

This is a really nice branch of Costa, and I'm having to revise my long-held view that their coffee is never strong enough. My americano was delicious - my barista specifically told me it would contain three shots and asked if I wanted it weaker. Which, of course, I didn't. The staff were lovely - really welcoming and friendly. An enjoyable visit.

They are Friendly staff and serve good quality drinks, also a clean environment, but was a little wait for the drinks.

Its a nice Costa to be honest cosy, clean and friendly staff.

Tipping in to find a queue of at least a dozen people, I was pleasantly surprised to find the staff seamlessly and efficiently keeping the orders flowing. Apparently, people spill outdoors when there’s a hint of sunshine in Long Eaton, according to a local newsagent. Even though it was a busy mid-morning Friday – the line was out the door at one point - and the barista was wearing a face mask, our tray was perfectly assembled within minutes. Two crisp, perfectly-warmed croissants and piping-hot coffees to match promptly arrived at the hatch. Trotting over to one of the screened-off booths, all that was left was to catch up with a good pal about Will Smith shenanigans, Top Gun, ambitions, family and all else… Kudos to the unflustered staff for serving the masses and getting our tray spot-on, right down to the mini-marmalade jars and foam art. Easy to overlook the baristas who work for a chain, but nowt was going to put this team out of their stride on the morning. Big grande salute.

Great coffee and snacks with plenty of places to sit. It does get busy in the mornings but the wait isn't long unless you're in a rush.

Haven't been into a high street Costa in over 5 years. It was great that they would do a split shot ( 1 shot decaffeinated and 1 shot caffeinated) which no costa has done before. But the coffee is still not the quality of Nero's or even Starbucks.

I’ve been coming here for years, I’ve always thought the service was great, staff are always friendly and as a regular you tend to get your drinks remembered, which is always nice, great cakes, great food, I thought the covid management of still serving was very well done. Genuinely a friendly nice place to come and hang out, have a coffee and millionaire shortbread 😋

No place has hot chocolate and carrot cake as the Costa's ones. Staff as always friendly even when they are so busy.

Quick service but it was early. Be warned you must either scan track and trace or submit your details when staying outside to eat. Also if you want a bacon roll make sure you order with your drink cause they charge you full price if not.

The was coffee good. There was a wait. The lights above the counter need a good clean, very dusty

Barista making coffee was helpful and good coffee. Other rotund assistant on the till and food was miserable, deliberately slow causing a significant lengthy queue to form. Notably moaning about the amount of hours he does. We are all struggling at present, not just him.
