[They've] turned this pub around through a completely new interior decor and outside..food is quality...bit of good music provision occasionally by local artists. All of the clowns are gone.Great real ales.

After a local 5 mile walk, we ended near the this pub. We went in the there was an open mic night, while the pub can't control what music gets played it did not ruin the atmosphere...intact it made it. We did not expect there the be an open mic night, and we didn't want to leave. The drinks were reasonably priced and we had a good time for the hour we were there...would definitely go back again. 😃

A nice a relaxing environment. Only had some drinks. It’s very clean and tidy. No gambling machines to bring the tone down. Will visit more.

A very nice Lincoln Green pub, only a minute from the canal and bus stop. Can't comment on food. Definitely one to incorporate on a walk

Very friendly, short walk from Bennett’s Hotel, sits on the bridge of the main Derby Road, easy access with parking at the rear or on the street at the side.

Lovely clean pub on the canal bridge. Refurbished around 2018, then changed ownership in 2023 to the Lincoln Green brewery. Now run by the lovely Amy who has a gift with making food. Good choice of beers and some lovely bar food, including flatbreads, paninis and toasties. Great staff. Good prices. Large beer garden to rear.

Lovely new landlady really cares for the pub. The cider is very good and the food is amazing. Lots of choice of other drinks and it's dog friendly too. Well done amy your doing a cracking job

Came here for the marvel quiz with my family and friends and couldn't of asked for a better night! The host / landlord was brilliant and made us all laugh too. The food was 10/10. I'll 10000% be coming back

DO NOT COME HERE FOR QUIZES Came new for a marvel quiz. Very poorly run quiz as guy running the quiz for a lot of answers wrong then berated me and my friend for giving him the correct answer. Seems to have an ego complex sadly and just wanted to shout at the paying customers. Left feeling embarrassed and deflated. Was also advertised bar snacks at half time which came and went with no mention. Such a shame as pub used to be a nice out of time place but is managed/run by some rude people who represent Lincoln green poorly.

Great little pub with live music and good bar snack type food. Would recommend going when Liv Driver is playing - fab local talent, great atmosphere.

Really enjoyed the night and the live music was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Excellent pub just what Long Eaton needed. Landlord and staff are great and up for a laugh.

Went today, sorry normally love this pub. Beer not good. Plastic glasses not outside inside, with no marker for half a pint inside bar. Advised we were not allowed normal glasses inside. Totally agree with plastic glasses outside. If you yau have another beer Festival things need to be stepped up. I realise it was the first one, you need to learn. Sorry I am not one for writing naf review's at a pub I like. You lost our custom, One because of plastic glasses. Two because some people were not happy with the beer they had from outside. You lost eight people today, we went elsewhere.

Beer has gone up again getting too expensive over the last few weeks. It’s gone up again 20p on some pints 5p

Dog friendly pub. Good selection of beers from real Alex to more crafty beer which were all good. I didn’t eat but the food looked good. It was Friday and a musician playing who was quite good too.

Had our daughters christening do at the Mill & Brook on Sunday. The staff were really friendly and helpful and Ashley went above and beyond collecting the buffet food and decorating the room. Everybody who attended said what a great afternoon it was.

We heard this was just taken over and a new manager put in place. Perfect pint of Marion, session ale. We looked over the food menu so will be back shortly to have a try of the menu too. We will be back!

Went in for a drink, we were served very slowly, only one person behind the bar. Sat down and saw a small selection of food available on a menu. Ordered a ploughmans, no hot food involved. Managed 2 pints whilst waiting, still no food. My review, don't bother going into an establishment that can't deliver what they're offering. Ps wasn't the young ladies fault, she apologised and refunded our money without question.

Decided to try this pub after it take over by Lincoln Green . Ordered drinks not bad, then straight away ordered a posh ploughman's. Then after awhile ordered another drink. After about an hour still no food. Nothing needed cooking? What needs to take so long? Left with no food and a refund. Will not be going back. If you want to serve food employ more than one barmaid to do everything. Not her fault!

Thanks to Ash and all the staff for putting on a great spread of food and making Lewis’s 21st a night to remember. I visited this pub on a Saturday evening at around 8.30. I went into the bar and I couldn’t get a seat, it was busy. The beer I had was Lincoln Green Daylight , a new one for me. Very pleasant drink poured well by the bar staff.

There's much to like about the Mill and Brook, so it was disappointing to be driven away. After three pints of the perfectly kept Tuck porter I was looking forward to a lengthy session until the barman decided to put the TV on. Now I had no problem with that, but it's either TV commentary, or Muzak...but not both? I asked the barman to make a choice between the two, but he refused. So rather than pay for expensive beer in an uncomfortable noisy atmosphere (that he had created), we elected to leave. I noticed that the couple opposite made the same choice too. That's how you make people feel unwelcome Mill and Brook, other pubs in Long Eaton offer a better experience.

We loved the decor, the atmosphere, the beers and especially the Posh Ploughman's which had been recommended to us by a friend and was why we had visited. Our only disappointment was that we went at lunch time and so missed the musical act playing later in the day, we would have timed it differently had we known that there was a performance on.

New Lincoln green pub serving their own cask ales and guest craft and larger. Excellent pub, superb location and very nice interior. Well worth a visit

We went here for a work colleague of ours for his 60th there was quit a few of us but the manager (Ashley) was so good and made it the best night especially when we did not book we got served very quickly and with a smile lots of different drinks.

Since Lincoln Green took over the pub, there is a much-improved ale selection and this is a very welcome addition to the growing presence of real ale pubs now in Long Eaton, Derbyshire.

Went in yesterday with the pub under new ownership, Lincoln Green. I had the Hood that was absolutely superb. One of the best pints of beer I've had in a long long time. If these standards are maintained they should do well.

Last Saturday night was too noisy

Nice bar and good staff , we were meeting here for a friend's wake ,didn't open till 1 no problem , the barman really accomodating had tea and coffee on which was good ,we came back after service everyone got served and staff were on hand all afternoon into early evening , the pub been done out good decor ,on trend , nice beer garden at back would be a sun trap in summer , all in all seems to be popular place made very welcome , VFM 🍺

a once decent pub is now a no go zone for me. bar staff dealing drugs to the local druggies who then proceed to snort it up their noses in the toilets. its gone down hill rapidly.

Two Hand pulls on the bar without bar clips , Marstons pedigree and Stillage ? No tasting notes, we had the pedigree It was awfull only drank half of it and left. As it was a funeral wake I felt it inappropriate to complain. Went to york chambers and had a very nice pint .

Honestly it's such a great pub if you want good alcohol and also a great environment, the decor here and music is great, just the atmosphere in general 10/10 recommend it to be honest 😁
