The best restaurants in East Lindsey East Midlands

Super service and food. We planned our first holiday day to have fish and chips at tea time. My little boy (autistic) wanted to go trawlers catch which we knew was loud outside so took ear defenders. However we never realised beyond the flashy facade its actually a chaotic loud school canteen inside. So my boy wouldn't stay and we walked out. Decided to venture down the side Street. A few places closed early but found flippers. 4.50pm. We asked if we could sit in despite it being near closing and was allowed. It meant a very quiet and chilled meal and helped to calm my child. The service was so friendly and the meal was absolutely lovely. 10/10. My little boy said it gets a "platinum award". We will be back.

Mixed feelings about the place really. Overall the place is great, with pockets of space for all different needs. Including a book exchange comfy seating and a massive play area with amusements. Dog friendly great. My only gripe is the food was served on small plates and there was chips and bits dropped all on the floor and left..we were there for about 4 hours..cleaning was not a priority..for god's sake get some plastic baskets for kids so they have room to move their food around..and the bread bun for a burger should be round..

Ordered and collected whilst staying at the nearby country park. Didn't wait long for our order and it was ok but quite bland and wouldn't have it again unfortunately. Both pizza and kebab were average. Easy to park outside on the road to collect.

We were extremely lucky to be able to stay the weekend in one of the new lodges on the fishing lake(which my partner caught his PB in!) The lodges are absolutely stunning. They are fully stocked with everything you could possible need and the space inside and out is immaculate. Being able to fish and relax with the hot tub is another kind of brilliance. From the momment we walked in all the staff were super friendly and attentive, going above and beyond for us. Before leaving, we stayed for a Sunday dinner. Which was lovely fresh homemade food! We met some great people and It was a brilliant weekend. Already planning on returning!

Fantastic fresh cooked breakfast, lovely and hot. Sat in the window and watched the world go by. Friendly staff and fantastic prices. Will be back xxxx

The worst Indian food I have ever had.. Thin watery gravy that wouldn't coat the back of a spoon.. No spice and no depth of flavour. Small dry pieces of chicken that looked lost in a sad puddle of sauce. I wouldn't go back if it was free. Left our mains paid and will never return. Absolutely shocking

Nice food but....... Omg so slow, I have seen so many people including myself walk off and go elsewhere, can I make a suggestion, why not have an app where can pre order and pay for your food for a set time and then have an express collection lane result profits up and happy customers

Visited this place for a family members birthday meal and won’t be coming back. Having booked over two weeks ago upon arriving we was seated in the conservatory which was absolutely freezing, would have been nice to have been advised time of booking that would be in the freezing cold conservatory. Several family members had to return home to get jumpers and coats midway through the meal and all ten of us had to sit in a restaurant in coats throughout the meal. Attitude of one of the waitresses was appalling, we had taken our 99 year old nan who was clearly unsteady on her feet, yet twice said waitress pushed passed her while nan was trying to walk to her seat. When pulled up on this the waitress, instead of acknowledging her error, went on to argue her point that she hadn’t pushed past and nearly knocked relative over. Awful attitude. The food itself was actually tasty but the 45 minute gap between starters and mains despite been asked to make preorder food a week ago is poor. And to then come out once 9 of the meals had been cooked and ask “how would you like your steak to be cooked”?!?!? Is wrong. Said family member then had to sit and eat alone once his meal did arrive ten minutes after everyone else’s. Had to go bar for drinks after waiting ages to be served. It was very much ‘shoved in the corner and ignored’….will not be returning. If you do choose to go - take your thermals and watch for the abrupt waitress

Friendly bar staff very welcoming,good menu choice,great offers. Definitely would go back.,just next to hotel. Shame the Hotel Crown doesn't have the standards.

Unfortunately not a nice experience and would not recommend or go again. Had to wait around 20 minutes, the food was cold, worst burger and kebab we’ve ever had, dry and no flavour, part of my order was wrong and sauce forgotten. Chippy down the road much better!

Good pub grub. Well looked after by the bar staff. Lots of history in this old pub, well worth a visit. Mind your head, low flying ceilings!
