Great place as always the new waiter was especially helpful and friendly, will definitely go again and food was outstanding.

Very large soft play area, great food, lovely helpful staff and VERY good value for money!! £3 for a 3yr old and £5 for a 10yr old that lasts ALL DAY!!!!!

Food wasn’t nice and not worth the price and they never get your order right I would recommend going somewhere else and not here

The food we purchased today was good quality Pannini with a side of chips and salad well presented Milky coffee out of a machine generally ok. Would I return yes nice surroundings dog friendly too a bonus.

I visited here today when visiting the area so i could let my little boy have a run around and get some lunch. I ordered jacket potato with cheese, beans and salad and my son had the childrens cheese burger. Both portions were a good size and tasted lovely. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful especially the dark haired lady who served us. Definitely recommend it and look forward to returning again soon 😁

We visited here today for food with my partner and 3 children . We ordered food and waited 20 mins for our meals. The jacket potato was frozen in the middle and the burger was charcoal

The burger was dry and burnt on one side and the jaket potato was still frozen in the middle not good at all

Great place, delicious food and good coffee. Nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. Also good service. Think the business name is Empire Amusements. So glad we came here would definitely go again when in the area.

We recently went to visit and had breakfast with the family we were pleased with the service and the price and the food it was hot and although it was busy on the day we didn't have much of a wait and the staff were so polite and friendly and our visit was really nice the family had a good day and the staff were amazing they were rushed of there feet but still went out of there way for people

Best place in mablethorpe for meals and also has a large play area for the kids.highly reccommended if your hungry or just want to tire the kids out

Visited in very wet August afternoon, we enjoyed a hot drink and a coffee. They was very good value for money.

as the play area is closed we took grandchildren to play on penny slots and we all had a lovely lunch and a lattee and cappuccino for us. Lovey staff and very helpful.

We decided to take our 2 yr old grandson here on sat July 6th. Firstly we waited which seemed like a lifetime for someone to actually get admitted in as there was no staff at the entrance. As we paid I mentioned to the girl about the big children one looked about12 playing rough in the (TINY) toddler area. I said are the big ones allowed to play there and her reply was it’s up to the parents, we can’t tell them what to do and there are no rules, I quickly replied that I will tell them , as i Would not be prepared to let big ones charge around and possibly hurt any little toddler I’m sure the play area must have some kind of duty of care to its visitors, they are advertising a toddler area which it is clearly NOT ! Security wise they have gate which you press a security button and it will allow you to get out. A child was allowed to climb up so he could reach the safety button and any child could get out. Surely a member of staff should be at that post to A) stop children escaping and B), admit you quickly when you arrive For toddlers it’s tiny, honestly waste of £1.50 as he was bored within 5 mins !!! The biggest laugh is asking a member of staff if there’s a baby change as we needed to change little ones nappy.....his reply “I don’t know but if there is it’ll be there” and pointed to toilets. So yes there’s a baby change which is locked, asked someone for key and they didn’t know where it was....they did eventually find it and we changed little ones nappy. I would not recommend, find somewhere else which is actually toddler friendly !

We have just returned from staying at a wonderful guest house in Mablethorpe and on Mon 3rd June our grandchildren saw cheeky monkeys and wanted to visit .It was a godsend,after spending all morning /early afternoon on the beach we were exhaustedbut not our two small grandchildren.They spent 3 hours having fun in the soft play area .We felt very relaxed and drank cups of tea and had delicious cake whilst watching them.It was very clean and managed and the staff were very pleasant .We will definately visit again

Avoid the food at all costs. Overpriced under/overcooked cheap rubbish, the breakfast consists of a sausage so burnt that it was hollow and crispy in the middle, a fried egg black on the bottom, bacon that had more fat than meat, a portion of cold beans, a grease filled hash brown and toast that could have been confused for a slice of bread. They also charge 1.80 for a bottle of coke, reality check it's Mablethorpe and a greasy cafe not a restaurant in London. 2.75 for a portion of fries that were served in what can only be described as a baby bowl(I've seen bigger coffee cups in the coffee lounge next door). The only positive to my my visit was the friendly well mannered young lad on the till.

Went yesterday and had classic cheese burger it was massive with the onion rings and chips and it was nice tidy place didn’t wait long for the food full compliments to the chef

Well went in for a cup of tea and cake the cakes look very nice but when we got ours it was a very thin pece not very good for the price we have had lots of meals hear but the sweets are over priced fot the size you get

Cheap and cheerful but the coffee was lukewarm and teacakes lacked fruit and hard. Not the freshest!. The cakes on display looked good , wish we had optedd for them instead.

We moved to Mablethorpe recently and decided to try the cafe (The Cafe Lounge) inside Cheeky Monkeys. I have had to post this review on here as I cannot find a dedicated page for the Cafe Lounge.

Really like this place, the one I always got to when I'm in Mablethorpe. It has a very relaxing easy atmosphere with good food and lovely coffee. Staff are excellent

grandson and friend loved playing in the children's area while we all had a drink and natter, good prices for play area.

Very commercial coffes is not to bad have had better, no atmosphere, seat outside is proberbly better if there is space.

Good service and friendly staff provided tasty food quickly and efficiently. Very reasonably priced and something to suit all appetites. Clean environment. We sat outside to eat - outside area is very comfortable,under shelter and good spot to people watch.Plenty of space to park up in your chair or on your scooter if you are disabled.

I found this place by accident whilst my husband was working in mablethorpe for the day, I thought I would take my children to the amusements where my grandparents used to take me when I was their age, it started to rain heavily so we luckily found this place. The staff we really lovely, and compared to the prices I'm used to it was so cheap!! The cafe which adjoins is also lovely, so I'm glad we stumbled upon it

All I can say is if you can put up with screaming children, noise,this is the place for you. Probably because it was cheap to eat there there customers were families,holidaymakers

Stopped of for a panni and coffee with the family how easy is that but the order was completely messed up and had to wait ages it's a shame just spoilt what was a good morning out with the family

Great place to take your children so they can enjoy themselves and also great for food. I am very fond of their breakfast and their prices.

Booked this location mainly for the Soft Play Area, as it was my sons second birthday. There were four youngsters,and ten adults. The Play Area was super,safe and the little ones were nearly always in sight. Some of the the parents did need to keep a closer eye on the youngsters,myself included (if you get what I mean). The tables were right next to the play area, so when the food was served we could all eat together.

Stopped here for morning breakfast with the kids. Didn't realise that this was a soft play area. It's actually several places in one. The Cafe Lounge, Cheeky Monkeys, The Coffee Lounge and a small arcade. It was great to relax here whilst the kids could play. No worries waiting for the cooked breakfast to be served (which didn't take long). It was generally clean, with clean toilets. Staff were pleasant and helpful. It wasn't very busy where we were there so it could have a different feel if it was packed with people but we were very happy. Prices are average for food with an additional £2.99 per child for soft play. For the ability to relax and the kids to play well worth it - recommended and we would go there again.

£1.50 did a coke and the kids masks have gotten small every year we've been yet got more expensive! £3.99 for 3 nuggets and a handful of chips is an outrage and when I complained at the especially small portion of chips on one of my children's plates I was ignored. We won't be eating there again!!

A mi hijo le encanta la zona de juego, su seguro y el personal mantener la zona segura. Un bonito lugar para relajarse mientras sus hijos quemar energía. Los aperitivos están bien cocinados y el chef salió a disculparse cuando uno de nuestro grupo había pedido una hamburguesa más grande que los otros. . . No llega poco después y estaba preparado a la perfección (gracias estaba delicioso). La repostería servida aquí son tan deliciosa especialmente el domo y el café también. Bajamos hasta el día y la señora que nos dejaron tomar café y pastel gratis. . . Nos volvimos a pagar otro día y pago fue rechazada.

Rainy day in mablethorpe so took kids in here and its great keeped them occupied for ages. There is a nice cafe for tea cakes and even hot and cold food dont need to say more its not expensive and they supply sock as well and only a pound a pair really goid value for money

I can highly recommend a very nice breakfast here. Friendly staff and excellent place to bring little ones to make use of the indoor play centre. Whilst they play you can eat, the Olympic breakfast is Wonderful! Or if you just fancy chips n cheese you get a decent portion freshly cooked, will def be back.

I was pleasantly surprised at this place . It was clean, modern and the food was lovely. I had a all day breakfast which I have not enjoyed whilst being on holiday as the sausages In most places here seem to be cheap And nasty but not here , it was very nice , kids menu was generous portions and reasonable prices . Would be better if there was a eat And play deal as I have three children and it can get expensive but it was very nice and would go again . I only have one negative And this is just my personal opinion but being dog friendly puts me off In eating places . The last thing I want is someone else's dog begging for food or even near me while I'm eating which is what happened while I was there . But over all a great place

Not good on Sunday 23oct 20164 of us ordered breakfast we all were suppose to have fried bread 2 big breakfast 1 standard 1 vegetarian and 4 drinks £22.00 They came out with toast after waiting 40 minutes when they came back with the fried bread which was the crust all the eggs were all hard 6 eggs none runny at all and the vegetarian one was given to the wrong person good job we knew which one had the vegi sausageI was so disappointed I ate it as I was Hungary I didn't enjoy it one bit We were not the only ones who had there orders wrong a number of people did the place was packed i put it down to i think it was so busy the chef and the waiting staff just had a bad day Well I may return one day to see if the local person who said it was the best place to go and recommended it to us was right I have been to other places for breakfast and they were good Hope yours will be when I try it again

Very good place for kids. They played while my mum and I had a cuppa. The food was good and good value for money. I would definitely come back.

We discovered cheeky monkeys by chance as from the main road it doesn't look like a big soft play. Once in we were really impressed with the price for all day play, also the size and quality of the play frame were very good. Also in good condition. We liked that you could come and go out of the soft play area with ease. Plenty of 2p machines for young kids (and older ones) and the generous token system means you can get lots of daft wee toys and sweets to keep kids happy. We enjoyed our food and felt it was reasonably priced. Also, if you don't want a big meal there were a good variety of snacks and fresh cakes too. The staff were really friendly too and welcoming. Some people may feel the machines are a bit dated and there aren't any of the more modern shiny bright light ones in some arcades but it's priced accordingly.I'd really recommend this place, don't judge its size from the Main Street as that's the mistake we made and didn't find it till later in the holiday but went twice once l we did find it. Happily recommend.

This family cafe, which is dog friendly, is ideally situated in the town centre. It is popular with locals and tourists alike. While the service is welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed, food prices are reasonable. There's also a good range of beverages on offer.

Found this little gem on the main shopping street, cheap admission, clean and lots to do for the little ones

My 8 & 6 year olds both loved it and so did my 3 year old like how its split into diffent bits for bigger kids etc meant my 3 year old wasnt getting pushed around by bigger kids staff was excellant even on a busy day.

went bank holiday weekend coffee & cake is great value the soft play area was great for are grandchildren and not over price like some are

the food here was very nice and they let you choose if you want something on there or not, it is alsoa very good place for your children to be occupied and have fun

With a coffee shop, Resturant, Amusement Arcade and a Soft Play Area for children Cheeky Monkeys has it all. The coffee shop is great just to rest your feet after walking down the Main High Street or walking back from the beach. If it's a full meal you are after then the restaurant serves meal from all day breakfast to cottage pie and everything in between. This isn't a fast food outlet it cooks all meals to order so there can some times be a small wait with the quality of the food it's well worth the wait. There is a amusement arcade and at the back is a full high big Childrens soft play area with seating you can order your food to be brought to you here too it cost £2.99 (may 2016) remember to wear your socks or they will sell you some disposable ones there is also Free wifi through out the building

Came across this lovley little cafe looking for somewhere for our daughter to have breakfast shes coeliac so can be quite difficult to find places for her to eat - she was thrilled that they had gluten free choices nothing was to much trouble for the staff they were excellent my daugher loved her breakfast. the cafe is really clean and decorated very modern its dog friendly too. Highly recommended

I came here with my mum and brother for the first time today and I've got to say we defiantly wouldn't come again! First of all the cutlery was dirty had to tell the waitress so she could re-wash them. My mum asked for classic burger and they sent a cheese burger, when we asked for another one they just took the cheese off. Olympic breakfast was more like a small one and practically stone cold... Throughout eating dogs were staring and yapping.. Best part was when we left.

hi we just had a weeks holiday in mablethorpe and visited the cheeky monkey for breakfast which was great, veggie breakfast was hot,filling and plenty of choice it was very clean and staff very helpful and friendly and the price was good too well worth a visit!

not having any young children now my wife and myself just go in for coffee and a tea which are realy nice and sometimes have a piece of their delicious cakes ..we do go in the other area where there are slot machines and a large padded climbing frame the grand children can be safely left to expend any energy they have while their parents and us can sit in the adjacent seating area with a nice cuppa and still be able to keep eye on kids

We've been going to Cheeky Monkeys for years. It's always been our favourite place to eat in Mablethorpe. This year they have remoddeled it and it looks FANTASTIC. Defo coming back again.

So we usually pop in for a catch up and a hot drink. Until my friend has specific taste to her coffee. She only likes the granules and tinted colour of coffee In her cup ( like 2 grains ) so when she spoke to the staff about how she likes her coffee politely they was more than happy to help which is nice as she doesn't want to make a fuss she is very shy. But one day the regular staff member she ask for her coffee, turned round and told her what's the point bothering getting a coffee if you are only going to have a granule of coffee!! The way he said it made her feel so awful she refuses to go for a drink there. I understand you can get awkward customers but you serve them with a smile and carry on working. They way he dealt with the situation was appalling!

Arcades, cafe. Soft play. What more could you ask for. Excellent service. Kids loved it. No complaints from me! Or the kids!

We often go into the front of cheeky monkeys for coffee and cakes, beefburgers and chips or bacon buttys, it has been done up this year and is very light and airy, it is ideal in the back for young famillys both for seeting and food. They do the best coffee in town.

Everybody loves Cheeky Monkeys.Everybody is welcome the noisier the better,Dogs get a free sausage,kids can make as much noise as they want.My neighbours are strict vegetarians and love to go there for a coffee every Sunday morning their dog Ozzie loves it too.Mablethorpe and cheeky Monkeys well we all know they go hand in hand.
